I dont think they could have found any cheaper pieces of wood to make this thing out of. They are so light and fragile its almost like balsam wood. Multiple pieces were already split and a bunch warped upon opening the boxes. Then the pre-drilled holes are way too small for the lag screws so the first few I screwed in split out the cheap wood. So i had to get a bigger bit and re-drill all of the pre-drilled holes. Then I also had to pre drill every single place where I screw was meant to go (which is about 2 million) because again, the first couple screws split out the cheap wood. There were a couple of boards missing and a couple of boards of the same number too many so I had to make them myself. When it comes to the roof you have to actually get in the playhouse to assemble it. The weight rating limit is 150lbs per 1 child, so unless you are on the thinner side its a bit uneasy getting up there as the boards are super creaky and very questionable. The roofing is just stapled on so I can see it flying off after the first big windy day. I honestly cant see this lasting more than a year. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of it and would not recommend this at all. The quality of the wood is so poor I'm even a bit fearful for my kids to play on this thing. I just couldnt be more regretful for buying this, should've paid a little more and got a metal one. I dont see how they can even get away with selling this junk. It will be firewood in 2 years or less I'm sure. Then the fact that it took almost 3 weeks to get after me contacting customer service 3 different times to find out it was just sitting in a distribution center for 2 weeks waiting for a delivery appointment to be schedule when there was no mention at all of a delivery appointment needed makes it worse. Then it didnt show up on the scheduled delivery date so I called and told them to cancel the whole order and give me a refund which they agreed to but the next day when I was not home it showed up and was delivered. My kids saw it and were excited to have it finally so at that point I decided to keep it. I wish I would have just returned it now. Just a failure all around.

This was a Christmas present for my kids that my husband just put together with a little help in about a full weekend. Instructions were easy to follow, very thorough and helpful. All of the parts were there and clearly labeled. Now the kids are having a blast and my 4 yo daughter was sooo excited about the curtains and hammock. Definitely not for a lot of older kids but great for my two under 5 and will grow with them.

This took me and my husband 2 days to put together. Definitely worth saving the money by doing it ourselves. Overall the directions were pretty good. It would be nice if the boards were labeled front and back also. All of the pieces were there with some extra screws and bolts which was nice. The kids love it ( 4 and 9 years old).

I ordered this for my 2 year old son because it had the stairs and not many have them. Plus we have another kiddo on the way and can easily attach a baby swing to it. We are extremely happy with the swing set. You can use the book instruction or download the BILT app and search for the Oceanview swing set and it takes you step by step with 3D instruction. I found that to be incredibly helpful and made the assembly process go quick and smoothly. It recommends 2 people but I was able to do the whole thing by myself in about 14 hours, so don’t be worried that you can’t do it. If you have basic conceptual knowledge and are able to follow instructions, it’s a breeze. We are so happy with the swing set. One happy kid makes your day so much better. Hope this review helps some of you who are a bit skeptical about it. Have a good day.

MAke sure you seal your swingset or the warranty is null and void. Also, the boards are really too thin. It’s some soft Chinese variety of “cedar” allegedly. The balcony area where the slide attaches need additional support. I don’t see this thing lasting very long. But it looks nice...so two stars for that. It was easy enough to build and I like the stairs for little ones.

Purchased this for my two grandsons, ages 1 and 5 plus neighborhood kids. Bought it specifically because it had the steps my 1 yr old grandson could use to be included. It arrived, while putting it together my husband noticed the layout was not the layout of the printed blueprints we printed once we bought it. We continued to put it together, with little wide eye boys watching in excitement. It was NOT the one we purchased, it's similar but not the specific one we selected due to the stairs for my grandson. This one does not have steps, has a rock wall, or monkey bars that have to be used to get to the level to the two slides. My 1 yr old grandson is unable to use it unless his mom is with him to help. Not sure the one we got is equivulent to the price we paid, that is something we'll have to look into more.

I bought this playground online and had it shipped to my house. Be prepared for delivery in about 3 weeks. The price was great because they offered $300 off online. I ended up paying $900 plus tax. This is such a great playground for the price. I have looked at many different types and everything was over $1,200 closer to $1,500. The playground came with instructions but took about 2 full days to put together with 2 people. Please be aware this is a lot of work and does take some handy work to put together. The outcome surpassed my expectations. Beautiful big playground with a nice house that is tall enough to fit my older son that is 10. My two boys enjoy the club house and swings the most.

Bought this as a Christmas present for our grandchildren. First of all, you will have to print out the manual yourself as nothing comes with the kit. It is 137 pages long so make sure your printer is working and you have plenty of paper and ink. And you will definitely want to do this as you need to study the pictures in order to assemble it correctly. Just looking at your phone won't help much. My son spent 5 hours sorting all the materials including the nuts, bolts and screws before we started assembly the next day. Even though that was a hassle, it was well worth it as we worked like an assembly line to build it. All the parts were labeled in the yard and we could just grab what we needed as we needed it. We did find that the directions were good for the most part but were lacking sometimes in that they didn't tell you which way a board should be placed. Because of this, we had to undo and redo several steps which slowed us down. It took about 12 hours total to build it with 4 adults working on it most of the time. So between the 5 hours prep and the 12 hours actually building - it's a long process. But we did have fun working together and seeing the grandchildren's eyes light up when they got to see it finished was well worth the effort. We were missing NO parts and actually had a few extra nuts and bolts and screws once we were done. The wood is not actually cedar but some wood from China. It's very light weight so I don't know how long it will last in our Florida climate. We sprayed the entire thing with Thompson's which should help preserve it for a couple of years anyway. It does look nice in the yard and you can tell it is a more expensive set than those sold at other stores. I know the grandchildren will enjoy it and we can smile whenever we remember the 2 days we spent building it for them.

Bought this set at Sam's club. It was simple and easy to put together with they help.of someone. The best advice is do what I did, take the time to open all the boxes and sort the parts by letter and sort the bolts, lag screws and screws apart. Took several hours to sort everything out but was very helpful on the build process. I put the monkey bars and swing bar together by myself on evening. First day I work on the rest of the swing set had 3 people and we worked about 5 hours. Second day we worked with 2 people and took about another 4 hours to finish up. Had on bag of parts missing, that only had 4 pieces but was able to find that at the local hardware store and not wait to get it shipped from the company. Did not take me and my help the 18-24 hours to build as the book said. With me sorting the parts and putting the swing and monkey bar together, I would guess had 12-13 hours of work in it.

Poor quality. Took three days to build only to find out it isn't safe due the support rails being slanted. Had to modify multiple pieces as they didn't align. If my kids want to play on it my husband will have to reinforce the support rails to ensure it doesn't collapse. Very disappointed. For the amount of money we paid I was expecting better quality.
