It's a big and heavy box, but packed well and without damage. Fairly easy to assemble, but suggesting it's a tool-less assembly isn't quite right... you will need a rubber mallet to nudge some of the shelves into place.

Great storage with a lot of space. The only downside is that the wire shelves allow for small items to not fit well. In order to fix this, I purchased some blank corrugated plastic signs to line each shelf and it works perfectly.

Disappointed 2 of 5 racks purchased was damaged. The steel poles were all bent. Major hassle to haul back to store for refund. They are good and easy to put together if not damaged.

Sturdy garage shelving at a great price at Sam’s. Pickup was quick and items were well packed so I experienced no damage. Assembly is relatively easy for one person. Suggest you measure for your desired shelf placements before you begin.

No complaints about this shelving unit! Very well made, sturdy, and great size! Honestly it was easier to put together than it was to get out of the box!

Love it very nice and can hold what I need it to. But I got it shipped to my house and it came damaged. There was multiple parts bent badly that it was impossible to put it together correctly. I ended up using a hammer to rebind the pieces

I bought two of these for our auxiliary garage. The steel is strong and sturdy. The shelves are easy to assemble by yourself, although an extra second of hands wouldn't hurt. It probably took me less than 15 minutes to build each one. The wire screen that goes across each shelf could be made of stronger material but it's more than adequate for most uses. Once filled, I was very happy with both setups. The ONLY thing I didn't like was the horribly cheap paint job. It's like they used water color on top of the steel instead of baking the color into the steel. If you slide anything across the front of the shelves, you WILL remove paint. Yeah, it's a garage but still the paint job could have and SHOULD HAVE been better. Other than that, these are 5-star shelves at the current price.

Although weighing only 127 lbs this shelving is very solid and sturdy. Assembly is easy enough but I'd recommend having some clamps handy to hold things in place until the shelf sides can be locked into place. Shelves can be place at 3-inch intervals. If the wire shelf bottoms don't suit you, they can easily be replaced with MDF/plywood (not included). Cross braces on the ends and the shelf brackets that attach to the ends are welded and thus very solid, no racking or wiggles. The only thing missing is being able to get additional parts for more shelves or extend to multiple units, which the ends are built to accommodate.

The racks are ok but the metal keeps getting thinner and thiner. I have bought the rack before from Sam's and the metal is thicker. They still do the job but I had them shipped to my home and the truckers beat the s..t out of the boxes and because of that some of the rails were deformed. Having the damage to the rails makes it difficult to assemble. took an hour to put the one rack together. I bought two racks. The second rack was easer but still took more time than it should have.

We bought it online for store pickup. The store personnel loaded it up for us; I've done this often, never had a problem. Get home and unload ... the box had the back ripped out, and several parts of the uprights were bent beyond belief. Like ...no one getting this for us noticed? More likely that they were just hoping I wouldn't notice... Drove back to the store, this time went in and had store workers look through every box. ALL the boxes had major tears, most of the visible uprights were bent somewhere. FInally found a box with minimal tears or marks, brought it home. Unloaded all ...the last piece, the second upright, had it's horizontal support twisted in such a way that it MUST have happened prior to putting in the box. I tried to carefully untwist as much as I could, because I needed the shelf THEN, and I had neither time nor patience to take ANOTHER trip back to Sams. Because of the twisting in the upright frames, the adjustable horizontal members were a bear to put in. Then, putting the shelves in ... the small supports on the bottom of the shelves ...really, pop rivets to attach, but just the shank section???? ALL throughout this shelf was a LACK OF QUALITY or QUALITY CONTROL. The metal itself was MUCH thinner than the last one of these I bought a few years back. The horizontal supports were hard to put in because of frame twisting, but here again, thinner metal made the job all the more difficult. AND ... how about a little screw to lock the shelf in at the upright? There's already a hole there for the job... The undershelf supports SHOULD have had nut & bolt, instead they went CHEAP with a rivet shank. I got one of these around four years back, so I compared the two ... and there IS no comparison as to quality - OR LACK THEREOF - in the newer shelves. Once again, Sams is putting a few cents more profit over sturdiness and quality. SHAME!
