the shelf itself is perfect. for the price even greater. but what you save in price you lose in QC of Sam's and their shipping partner(s). as MANY have stated you have a high likelihood of some damage to the shelf. my box came in the mail with significant damage. when building it i noticed the top of the main support had been crushed in. i was surprised i was able to assemble it 99% of the way with just one support bolt being impossible to use due to the damage. I was able to get it built minus one support bolt on the top shelf and thankfully Sam's CS online immediately offered me a 25% refund for the damage.

Dont be surprised if you have to return these shelves. Which isnt easy. Dozens of calls/chats/emails and two months later I have 3 shelves and a refund for another because they kept sending defective bent units. Save yourself the headache and stress of dealing with Sams Club and buy these someplace else.

i am so sick of companies making things cheaper and cheaper in quantity yet charging more and more. in the past 13 years i have purchased 16 of these units. the last 4 being 4 years ago. today i bought 4 for a new location. EVERY PART IS THINNER LIGHTER WEIGHT LESS DURABLE THAN UNITS FROM 4 AND 7 YEARS. I DOUBT THESE HOLD UP 2 YEARS BASED ON JUST HOW CHEAP AND WEAK THEY FEEL HATE HATE HATE YOU GREEDY THIVING CORPORATE SNAKES

I have purchased several of these shelves in the past; however, the current one that I recently purchased is not near the quality of the previous ones. The metal is thinner and the construction is out of line on the top of the end units. It was nearly impossible to get the top shelf rails to attach. Only after laying the assembled parts on its side on the concrete floor was I able to use a dead blow hammer to beat the attachment points into the slots while using a pry bar to align the tabs. Worst jigsaw puzzle ever!

I’ve had several racks of this type. The rails and posts are too thin for this type of rack. The shelving is wire that can be bent like a coat hanger. In fact, I had to use a rubber nallet to bend it back in shape. There is no bolting used in this rack. If there was bolting it would make it sturdier. I’m going to have to add bolting and wood shelves to make it reliable fir long term. Very poor product! Of course, you know who made it, so why am I surprised!

Did not know what to expect from these, especially when it came to assembly but to our surprise it was so easy and quick. Took my husband and I about maybe 20 mins to put 2 of them together. Literally took longer to take all of the parts down to the basement than to assemble. They feel sturdy and fit the plastic bins which we also got from Sam's on sale perfectly. Highly recommend.

Solid but messed up. The shelves are strong and sturdy, but one of the supports was damaged and bent. It was so bad, I had to use a ratcheting tie down to pull the frame together to put the last pin in place. Learn from my mistake...buy this at a store and open the box before you leave. Return it as many times as you need so you get a completely undamaged shelf DO NOT BUY ONLINE

We bought one 9/2025. Then went back and bought another and they were on sale. Now we want another! Hope we get another sale soon! The only thing I wish it had was a smoother shelf. So I lined it with a sheet of painted white plywood.unable to share photos.

Ordered two Member's Mark 4-self Industrial Storage Racks. They were in boxes that were big, bulky and quite heavy. Had to borrow a mini van with seats removed to transport home. Once home, they were lugged up a flight of stairs to a walk in attic on the second floor. . Once the boxes were opened and assembly was to begin, it was discovered that one of the side support systems on one of the racks had failed to be welded. This required the rack to be disassembled, returned to box, secured in box, transported back down the stairs, back into the back of the borrowed mini van and returned to store for a replacement. Luckily, there was one available in the store but this requires a repeat of the whole pick-up, transport, assemble ordeal.

November 29, 2020 Went to Sam's in Joplin Missouri to pick up one of there Members Mark 4-Shelf Industrial Storage Racks with the 10,000Lb rating. Drove over an hour one way to get there and the same to get back home only to find out the welds on the main side supports were dethatching from the uprights. Words cannot describe how upset I am especially after spending over $150.00 and wasting approximately 3-1/2 hors of my day for nothing. As a consumer I should be compensated for this as this was deliberately packaged this way.
