I used it for taping off walls while I painted cabinets. Width of tape is perfect for all sizes of paint jobs. Didn't leave any residue when I removed the tape and it didn't create a mess.

It ruined our trim. Now we have to buy new, an expense we really can't afford at this time. THANKS ALOT SCOTCH BLUE...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free roll of scotch blue original Multi surface tape in the mail awhile back. I decided to try my hand on the many thrifty items I have in my garage. As The 4th of July was approaching, I chose a patriotic theme. I used the tape to paint a flag on an old window, chair, suitcase, shutter, old window screen and shovel. For the most part I was pleased with the results. There was some paint bleed under the tape & also some paint came off when I peeled the tape off. I think if I had the scotch blue edge lock or delicate surface tapes, this wouldn't of been an issue. Needless to say, the items sold very fast & I'm looking forward to trying the other tapes & making more items.

I love your painter's tape! Over the years, this has been the first thing I pick up before starting a project. I keep several rolls around the house for other projects. I've used it to temporarily secure several pictures into a collage frame, hold a recipe to the cabinet door as I am cooking, hold a table cloth in place. My most favorite use of all: I have broken my toes so many times. The first time it happened, the doctor said the only thing we can do is tape them up to keep them secure. Now, when I run into a piece of furniture with bare feet and I hear that *snap*, I reach for my painter's tape and wrap up my toes. It is better than any medical tape and easier (and less painful) to remove. LOVE IT!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free to use and give my opinion and I have to say it seems to be great. It's not fall yet when we do painting and stuff so I have no pictures but I did try it where I had some touchup to do and it worked great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to polyurethane the wood under the front door before winter set in. The inside floor is wood. Taped off the entranceway, used the blue to cover the front door with plastic as it had to be wide open. The tape did not take any finish off the front, left the tape on the wood floor for a week before the 2nd coat and it came off without a problem except where a little polyurethane had dribbled. That took a little work, but it was on me, not the tape.

Sticks well to surface thus eliminating any paint bleed, while still being easy to remove. Used it to mark edges of steps where a contrasting color was needed for safety reasons. Worked well with not paint being removed when we removed the tape.

This is the second time I've had a difficult time with your product, Scotch Blue Painter's Tape for Multi Surfaces #2090. I was painting my kitchen cabinets and used your tape on my kitchen walls, protecting them from the paint I was using on my cabinets. I went to pull off the tape and the paint came off the walls. One spot I could have dealt with but it happened continually leaving me with a new job of buying paint for my walls and painting my kitchen walls. I was told by several people not to leave the tape on the walls for very long. I made sure I didn't. I haven't had much luck with your product and will not recommend it to my family and friends. The completion time was doubled because of your product. I have learned after this job to cut in the trim freehand, using no tape. The only relevant evidence I had was the tape with my wall paint on it. My husband mistakenly threw it away, thinking it was garbage. I did learn by this complaint process that I should have taken pictures of the damage.
