As a fine arts painter, with and M.F.A. in Drawing and Painting, I have explored a number of materials and techniques to express my relatively technical paintings. The 2090 was easily applied and trimmed, allowed for several overlays used in more complex designs, and easily removed with crisp edges everywhere, as desired. I wish I had found this tape years ago. I teach children's theater. Part of the kids' experience is to build and paint their own sets. ScotchBlue Painter's Tape is easy for both the kids (as young as 6) and the adults (well into their 80's) to use. It sticks well, but is easy to reposition. It holds tight to the set walls, keeping paint where it's supposed to be. Clean up is simple, our sets look crisp and unique, and the kids are SO PROUD that they did it themselves. Used on a small curio cabinet. I really liked the tape stuck where I put it and it did not curl off the glass. Had no paint bleed. Thumbs up on this great product!!

I tried this product for the first time and I’m very disappointed with the results. The adhesive was too strong, it peeled off the ceiling paint it was meant to protect. I had used the green tape on the same ceiling to use up what I had and had no issues. Every spot I continued on with the scotch blue ended up with damaged ceiling paint. Not only that it was difficult to remove as it kept ripping.

If you're looking for a tape for your painting project - big or small - stop searching! I always use ScotchBlue and I've never been disappointed. It's a great product at an affordable price. Most importantly, it does not cause surface damage. I've safely left it painted drywall, crown moulding, metal and glass for 10-12 days. I wouldn't use any other product for this type of job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comes off of walls clean which I think is what we are all most worried about. Makes a nice straight line on the walls. We have flat smooth walls here in the midwest so I can't speak about how it works on textured walls but it works good on ours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] since this role of painter's tape is nice and wide , i have been using it to label camp lunches, toys, donation bags/boxes for assorted local charities. you can easily write on this tape..with any type of pen or marker! you don't need to use this for just painting applications!
