Spraying a ceiling after walls were painted, taped plastic to the painted walls, actually to go back and staple the plastic/ tape to the walls because it wasn't sticking. Walls were painted just over a month ago. Now, trying to spray the ceiling and at almost every place the I spray were the ceiling and wall meet, the tape curls up. I took sever pictures with my phone, but could only load 1. Room temperature is 65 degrees. Never again will I use this worthless tape. Costing me more time to use than its worth!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we painted our entire house. we taped all the woodwork before painting. we let it dry before removing the tape. it stuck to the wood work and peeled the paint off in several areas. we tried the light purple tape and that doesnt stick at all. the blue just completely stuck to every surface. we literally had to use a utility knife and cut between wall and wood work before peeling the tape up, making extra work. i am still going around the house 2 months later finding little pieces of blue tape still stuck in small areas. glad my project is done but what a waste of money.

When you paint and remove it from trim it removes easily and makes for a great paint job every time. It’s also easy to tear pieces when your preparing baseboards to paint along an edge. I have trusted and used this product for many years and really like it.

I recently repainted our bathroom and was very upset when I tried to remove the tape I had placed along the edge of the ceiling and wall. The tape ripped out not only chunks of the wall paint but also the paint along the ceiling. It's rather frustrating to think you're finished working on a project only to discover that you have to go back and redo a lot of it because the tape you were using screwed it up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Scotch Blue for over 15 years....I am an amateur painter and it is my GO TO tape for edging, avoiding mistakes/overruns....it is simply amazing! I recently painted my small bathroom which had alot of corners, shower stall, sink, mirror, etc. - this blue tape made it all happen. LOVE IT!!!!!

I use scotch products frequently as I believe they have great products, however, after buying and trying the Scotch 2090 painters tape I am finally done wasting my time and money on this product. For many years I have purchased this tape to use for painting and each time I am frustrated by the fact that the paint seeps through as well as tears when peeling back the tape. Each time I purchase this product I think it will be different, but it never is. Extremely disappointed and have finally learned my lesson.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use ScotchBlue Painter's Tape for everything that calls for a tape that bonds well but removes easily. I am an RC airplane enthusiast and use this tape for all phases of the hobby—paint masking (of course), clamping, marking measurements, etc. It leaves no marks or residue on surfaces. At the field, I use it to hold my sailplane wing panels together tightly in flight, as an emergency method for repairs when they're needed, and much more. My only complaint is the fact that it only comes in blue, which I know is a trademark issue. It would be fantastic, however, if it were available in other colors for design and hobby use.

I use the blue 1/2 to label everything. I also hand every kids art project in my house with it. IT is the BEST!!! It even stays on in the wash for about 5 washes!

Well, I use it for everything! I use it before I go to the corner car wash to secure my rear wiper, I use it on the bottom of my high heels to make them not so slippery, to secure photos in frames to keep them straight and even in my jewelry box to keep earring backs from getting lost. Greatest invention EVER!
