I tried this product for the first time and I’m very disappointed with the results. The adhesive was too strong, it peeled off the ceiling paint it was meant to protect. I had used the green tape on the same ceiling to use up what I had and had no issues. Every spot I continued on with the scotch blue ended up with damaged ceiling paint. Not only that it was difficult to remove as it kept ripping.

I needed a tape that would allow me to tape cords secure to the floor without leaving a sticky residue or looking tacky. I taped my electrical cords down with ScotchBlue painter's tape and it has working very nicely. It looks so much better that anything else I have tried. It is very easy to remove the old tape and replace where needed.

I traced my logo over a dark piece of oak tag and white oak tag and cut out a template and may i say the edges were razor sharp and it photographed beautifully. Hello, I never ever leave revues or comments about products but what I just went through I wouldn’t put anyone else through. I just spent all day taping the ceiling of two rooms. When I removed your Scotch Blue Original Multi-Surface painters tape from the ceiling that was painted 48 hours ago, it pulled almost all of the paint off with it. I can’t believe I actually gave the blue tape a try. This project is pretty much a do over and a waste of a vacation. This product is garbage and I will never use any of your products again. This will also be copied and pasted on every site/comment/revue page I can find so other people do not purchase this horrible product and go through this. I have painted many rooms in my homes and of course tried this tape because it was on sale. Thanks for a loss of 3 day. Your product is horrible!

I not only use painters tape for painting, But it has so many other uses. Temporarely holding objects to be attached to the wall, Outlining areas to be painted, I use it everywhere and on everything that cannot be ruined. It easely removes and leaves no marks or residue like other brands. ScotchBlue is the best.

We don't start a project without making sure we have enough on hand. It works on our textured walls, expensive wall paper, and doesn't leave us disappointed. However, I also use it for hand and machine quilting. It marks my seam allowance on the metal plates of even my treasured Featherweights without any sticky build-up, and is stellar for marking the quilting lines on both hand and machine-quilting, or for taping down my silicone mat for machine-quilting. I even used it as a teaching tool for quilting classes at my local quilt shop. When I headed back to the middle school classroom after a hiatus, my daughter made me a classroom tool kit, and of course, Scotch Blue was included. With restrictions of what I can use on my classroom walls, Scotch Blue always works in a pinch, or for the long term. I appreciate its versatility!

I teach children's theater. Part of the kids' experience is to build and paint their own sets. ScotchBlue Painter's Tape is easy for both the kids (as young as 6) and the adults (well into their 80's) to use. It sticks well, but is easy to reposition. It holds tight to the set walls, keeping paint where it's supposed to be. Clean up is simple, our sets look crisp and unique, and the kids are SO PROUD that they did it themselves. Well i spend 2 days painting my house. All for not. As soon as i pulled the tape off. THe paint came right with it. All that hard work down the tube. Now i have to go out and repurchase the paint, and try get my house actually looking like someone with some sense painted it.The product did not perform as it should. Causing me to have to do 2 times the work.
