[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a small painting project and found by using ScotchBlue Original Painter's Tape was a lifesaver! I was working on a painting project above my head; the Painter's Tape held up very well and prevented the paint from bleeding through.

I have always used scotch blue tape and I've used the frog green a few times, but it can be expensive. Over the past few months, the blue tape that I have used come right off the wall after putting it up. I find myself wasting time time to put the tape back up on the walls before I can even begin to paint. It has become a pain. I wish I took pictures of the failing tape. It looks like someone has TP'd my walls. Now I have paint up under the tape, so I still have to go back over all of my work. I should have skipped the blue all together and free hand the edges, if that's the case. Please go back to how it was, until then, I'll pay a bit more for the green tape so i can get the job done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotchblue original painter’s tape is the tape everyone should have a roll of in there home. Whether you have to do a minor touch up and want to protect your baseboard trim. Or my favorite use of this tape, when you have a board game and the box won’t stay closed and all the pieces will fall out if it opens up. You don’t want to use tape that will make the box get sticky and gross, trust me, use painters tape!! It always leaves a smooth surface when removed. This tape makes easy work of any painting project. It will come off the roll as easy as it comes off of any surface. It also will give a clean line weather you are taping of f for different colr schemes or just taping off moldings or cabinets. It also works great for holding plastic in place anywhere. Just a great painters tape in general.

Went on so easily I was concerned that it would be hard to remove after 3-4 days of painting but it came off quickly and there was no leakage of paint. An excellent product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We always have a lot of beautiful artwork from our students and using this product allows us the flexibility of updating our walls constantly without the fear of ruining our freshly-painted school. I've tried similar products, and I've decided to stick with this one. Excuse the pun!!!

I use scotch products frequently as I believe they have great products, however, after buying and trying the Scotch 2090 painters tape I am finally done wasting my time and money on this product. For many years I have purchased this tape to use for painting and each time I am frustrated by the fact that the paint seeps through as well as tears when peeling back the tape. Each time I purchase this product I think it will be different, but it never is. Extremely disappointed and have finally learned my lesson.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a teacher. I used ScotchBlue Painter's Tape on my dry erase board last school year. I created a couple of charts which had columns and rows. We used this for daily activities and to list assignments and information needed by the students. The tape stayed up all year...not a single piece needed to be replaced. On the last day of school when I tore it down, there was no residue left behind and it came down very quickly. I recommend ScotchBlue Painter's tape for teachers for use in the classroom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having multiple rooms to paint I purchased a 9 roll pack of this tape. It worked well where I needed to make the edge line between my ceiling and walls.There wasn't any bleed through and it removed easily afterwards. Only problem was the packaging caused the rolls to get get slightly damaged causing some waste of each roll.

I recently repainted our bathroom and was very upset when I tried to remove the tape I had placed along the edge of the ceiling and wall. The tape ripped out not only chunks of the wall paint but also the paint along the ceiling. It's rather frustrating to think you're finished working on a project only to discover that you have to go back and redo a lot of it because the tape you were using screwed it up.
