[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little concerned because we wanted to repay with a metallic gold paint a pole lamp in our living room, and also a vanity table and chair in the bedroom. We were worried about the paint getting where it shouldn't be, particularly with the vanity table. Well, we needn't have worried, because ScotchBlue Painter's Tape worked great! It was easy to apply, and even more important, very easy to take off, and best of all, it kept the spray paint from getting on the attached lamps and the top and drawers. A very nice job was accomplished!

Quilters love this tape. We use several layers to mark seam lines on our machines, it will not harm our paint or decals. Many other uses that include marking fabric or blocks, we can write our information on it and then remove when finished. Strips of tape can be used to stitch a grid pattern on our quilts. We just place tape on fabric and sew close to edge, remove and reposition and sew next line. The only problem I have is not enought different widths. 1/4", 1/2" would be great!

It has come in handy for taping off "roads" for the children to drive their cars on, creating shapes on tables & floors to sort or play games in, creating designs on tables for the children to do etching on paper....the uses are endless! Thank you for this product and I look forward to seeing the many more uses in the future!

I work for a school district and when I'm setting up a new school or building, I stick a piece of painters tape on any of the furniture that is damaged. The blue tape stands out and is very easy to find when walking a vendor through each room to show them the damages I found. Once we have done the walk-thru I relocate that piece of tape to the underside of the furniture so I can find it when the replacement furniture arrives. It makes it so much easier doing it that way.

I give this product 4 out of 5 stars only because the tape tends to rip in certain spots when trying to peel it back from the wall after painting. Only a minor gliche but otherwise works perfect!! And makes for great tape baseballs once we are done and we crush it all and put them in ball form! :)

i went to my brothers house to help him paint his widows and he had some scotch blue tape. I loved how it was so easy to use and for some reason it smells good too. The paint didn't get threw and mess up the windows and after we finished it can off so easy and now I buy a roll every 2 weeks for my home projects and other uses too. I love this tape and i even make stencils out of it!

I think a lot. I usually use a more expensive brand (there’s only one - you could probably figure it out), but since I was doing such a huge area I thought I would try Scotch Blue. Not a great decision given I was painting baseboards on my newly refinished hardwood floors - paint seat under the edge of the tape despite the fact that I applied it appropriately. Should have spent the money for the green tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stuff, it beats the heck out of the old masking tape I grew up with! I use this for all my temporary tape need's. I just used this on a go-kart I repainted and it came out perfect! I use all around house and shop.

I teach children's theater. Part of the kids' experience is to build and paint their own sets. ScotchBlue Painter's Tape is easy for both the kids (as young as 6) and the adults (well into their 80's) to use. It sticks well, but is easy to reposition. It holds tight to the set walls, keeping paint where it's supposed to be. Clean up is simple, our sets look crisp and unique, and the kids are SO PROUD that they did it themselves. Cut my painting times in half by using this and not having to be crazy slow; with the cutting in. Easy on easy off. No leaking nor pulling existing finishes off when pulling it off. I use this also to make labels on storage containers. Comes right off for reuse of different items when project is done. Also, mark pieces of items to be reassembled does not hurt finish nor leave a tape like residue.
