[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a teacher. I used ScotchBlue Painter's Tape on my dry erase board last school year. I created a couple of charts which had columns and rows. We used this for daily activities and to list assignments and information needed by the students. The tape stayed up all year...not a single piece needed to be replaced. On the last day of school when I tore it down, there was no residue left behind and it came down very quickly. I recommend ScotchBlue Painter's tape for teachers for use in the classroom!

I bought this to use on three projects. 1. bottom of an old metal shower 2. top of an old water tank in the kitchen 3. outside on old asphalt siding. So far I've removed the tape on two projects, the water tank and asphalt siding. The tape pulled the paint off the the water tank and asphalt siding where it was placed to create a safe line. Haven't tried the shower yet. I am MOST DISCOURAGED by this project. I have used blue painters' tape for decades, probably not Scotch. The hardware store had nothing to say. Now I start over again on the projects, and NOT with Scotch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Blue has been on my inside windows for 6 years now. It holds up the plastic that covers the window to keep out the cold in the cold months. It is easy to peel off to raise the plastic half way up on the windows in the hot months.

I tried this product for the first time and I’m very disappointed with the results. The adhesive was too strong, it peeled off the ceiling paint it was meant to protect. I had used the green tape on the same ceiling to use up what I had and had no issues. Every spot I continued on with the scotch blue ended up with damaged ceiling paint. Not only that it was difficult to remove as it kept ripping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well. So far ive had no issues. It does not mess up the wall when i removed it. I will likely be purchasing this Scotch blue painters tape in the near future. Thank you 3M for allowing me to test this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product free from 3M and WOW I really like the way it holds to glass, walls, doors! When you paint and remove it from trim it removes easily and makes for a great paint job every time. It’s also easy to tear pieces when your preparing baseboards to paint along an edge. I have trusted and used this product for many years and really like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was repairing a space in wallpaper where I had removed a home intercom station. I had to prime the new drywall before replacing wallpaper. Primer paint seeped under the tape and spread out into the existing wallpaper. Had to spend some time cleaning up paint before it dried on the wallpaper.

Pulled off all the paint and now I need to sand the area, buy more paint and re-apply.. Very frustrated with this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have, of course, used ScotchBlue when painting in my home but I never thought about using it for any thing other than that. My son was working on a mulit-media art project for school. He asked me if we had any of the "blue tape". I told him that we did and gave it to him. He began to put it on his art work with me freaking out and thinking he had ruined his project. He assured me it would be fine. When he finished, he removed the tape and to my amazement there was no trace that it had been on there. Everything he had covered was still just as it was before.

I'm repainting all the rooms in my house. The tape worked well on my wood molding. I got mixed results when I used it on paint. When I removed the tape from a freshly painted flat ceiling paint everything went fine (paint cured about a week; tape stayed on about 1 week). But when I put the tape on eggshell wall paint the paint came off in 20+ spots. This was a small coat closet. (Paint cured about 3 weeks; tape stayed on about 18 hours. I painted the walls before I did the ceiling.) The tape that pulled off the paint was from a different roll; hopefully this was a fluke. I bought a 3 pack and still have 6 rooms to tape and paint.
