This ice machine is the BEST thing I've purchased in a while. I was very impressed with the quality of ice it makes. A gallon seems to go a long way. I highly recommend this product!!!

Works well much quieter than Fridgeidare, unfortunately we bought two weeks before $120 price reduction- cannot find anyone at Sams to help me with price adjustment

I love these ice nuggets. I thought they would melt down really quickly in a drink, but they don’t. They actually chill the drink very quickly and remain pretty solid for a long time. I use them in my thermos and it last all day.

The Opal is great, makes the best nuggets to crunch on. Very convenient and easy to maintain. Makes your beverage colder. Makes ice nuggets quicker than I thought, the whole family loves Opal!

Quite and makes ice fast

I love the machine makes great ice super fast only thing is it will not get the water from the tank on the side. I've moved it, cleaned and nothing. It only did it once and never again. Also it tends to melt in the macine.

Was delivered severely damaged. This item is only sold online. I am being asked to return to club for a refund and repurchase online. i was excited but unsure a replacement will be delivered without damage. So annoying and hugely inconvenient.

Bought Nov. 30, 2025, started making and odd groaning noise after two weeks and seems like the water level sensor and pump are failing. It asked for descaling after 1st 100 hours and I use distilled water only. This tells me I think descale is based on time, not actual need. Did descale and rinse which is a pain and can get messy with side tank. Once or twice a day I have to add water in the unit water reservoir after about 2 weeks after I got it which is what leads me to think the noise is the water pump as reservoir is half full, and the side tank is completely full. After I purchased I see this is one of the major complaints. I’m giving it till new years and if doesn’t correct it self it’s going back. The ice is very nice. The unit looks very good, but the noise is louder than I expected from the unit and I had no idea the maintenance on. It would be such a pain. If I had to do all over again, I would not purchase it’s not worth the labor

I should have read reviews. After spending much time setting this up and sanitizing it was such a waste of time. It makes ice just to have water spray all over the ice and melt it. After reading reviews it looks like there are a lot of issues with this machine.
