The ice maker started making a loud sqealing noise after running for one day. It also started a cleaning cycle while set in the "ice" mode. The only reason I gave it 1 star was for exceptional costomer service.

OMG! Better than sonic ice! I was skeptical but it's the real deal. Makes a decent amount for a couple people. I eat ice a lot. Not that loud. Instructions could be way better but I figured it out.

This is a nice durable ice maker. It's a little bit heavy but well built. Very easy to install and makes great ice crunch cubes. This ice make is a very quite unit compared to others we have had. My wife loves this ice maker.

The first one we got we loved. Came in silver color. But after 6 months it stopped working. Got the new,blue one in the club. First day home LOUD banshee sound coming from the machine. Barely made ice. I'm on number 3 of the blue colored machine that we just hit 4 days ago and about to return in for the banshee screaming that all 3 machines have made writhing 10 min of running. I did notice the inside the machine where the ice drops, the mechanism had a frozen chunk of ice stuck inside. Definitely not getting another one of these machines

We bought 3 of these last year at this sale and have used them daily for a year with no problems. I bought the sleeve of small chines glasses to keep next to it and the grandkids can get a small glass of ice whenever they want. It's easy to clean with a teaspoon of bleach with the hose running into the sink. We try to clean it every few months. Just add water with a teaspoon of bleach into the reservoir and let it drain into your kitchen sink. Then run clear water through it for a cycle. It's very easy. I love that it can sit anywhere on your counter. You will love it and the sale is a great price.

Died after 24 hours - "Add Water" error with full reservoir I was excited about this ice maker, but my unit stopped working after only about 24 hours of use. It started throwing a "low water" / "add water" error even though the reservoir was completely full. I went through every troubleshooting step I could find: drained and refilled the tank, ran it in cleaning mode, removed the side tank and filled the internal reservoir directly, and checked the float switch for obstructions. Nothing worked - the unit consistently reported low water regardless of the actual water level. For a brand-new machine, this points to a defective float switch or water level sensor right out of the box, not anything on my end. Disappointing for an expensive appliance to fail within a day of setup. If you're considering this ice maker, be aware that quality control issues can happen even on units that arrive working initially. I'd recommend testing yours thoroughly in the first 24-48 hours. Now to dry it out, pack it up, and take it back.

After having this and being very happy with it, it started squealing badly. I don't mean a little noise it was like several cats fighting. The power button did no good. Watched a lot of videos and it seems to be a common problems. I local repair shops want anything to do with it.

The internal water reservoir on these machines are warm and dark; a perfect environment for bacteria and mold. When the unit we had was not producing as much ice, we took it apart. Even though it was regularly descaled and disinfected, the water reservoir and tubing around the reservoir were green and reminded us of pond scum. I am not talking about the side unit that you fill with water. This is the reservoir at the top of the unit. We were shocked, as the ice looked and tasted OK. The water in the reservoir was discolored and as you can see from the photo, there was a thick biofilm. There are YouTube videos mentioning this. Read the comments. I suspect all of these machines look like this over time....
