[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took this product out of the box, and my first thought was it was flimsy. The mesh is very thin, and the panel is very lightweight (that part is actually a good thing). I just thought the mesh would easily tear. So, for the purpose of this review, I tried to see if I could tear a small area of the mesh. It didn’t tear! The panel hung quite nicely in the doorway with the included tape strips and stayed in place. The magnets were also powerful and joined again very easily after separation. This mesh panel serves its purpose and does it quite well.

This is one of the worst products I've ever bought two days off strings like freeze started hanging the stitching went loose on the top and it was completely trash and that was the first week not even, horrible product! I bought another one which is made with fiberglass and has the magnetic strip all the way down from the top much better quality I just couldn't believe this product was so bad.

It seemed great at first, but after using it less than a week it started ripping at the top and the magnets stopped attaching to each other without constant assistance, defeating the whole purpose. If it was on a door that was rarely used it would likely do the job much better. As it is now, it won't even keep the flies out because of it's inability to close properly.

The velcro strips didn't stay in place, it barely made a difference in keeping flies out. More often than not it was in the way, flaps twisted, because they wouldn't stay on the velcro. Then the tension rod started falling. I rolled it up and stashed it in a corner, fed up. Now I'm buying real screen doors with a pet door. Save yourself the disappointment. This product was a complete disappointment.

I love everything about Magic Mesh and am glad to see it sold in Walmart so I don't have to "wait for the bonus offer if I just pay separate shipping and handling" from the TV ads. I have 2 of them now and am about to go get a third one. AS WITH ANY PRODUCT LIKE THIS, you may have to do some modications of your own. My door frames have slightly curved and not-so-typical framing so the included velcro and black tacks have to be adjusted based on MY end of the installation. To get the screens up, a trusty and handy old desk stapler allowed me to have them up in about 5 minutes per set of screens. It's probably better than the velcro and tacks. Truly, I've had no problems at all with the screens being stapled. On top of that, no messy adhesive glue from the velcro to pull the paint off my framing. And, black velcro strips on a white door frame? Nah! I left about 16 inches of the screen where the door opens unstapled so my cats can easier get in and out. I still have a good bit of protection from outdoor pests. The BIGGEST benefit for me is being able to better safeguard my cats when they want to play outside. A month ago, and before I had the Magic Mesh screens, one of my cats was severely attacked by 2 vicious stray dogs. She should be in kitty heaven now because she was in critical shape. (She's recovered very well!) I've made it a point to keep the doors open and not have any non-necessary noises going on around me that could prevent me from hearing any potential distress. Again, the screens have made a substantial part of my fears become better managed and my outdoor-loving cats still get to enjoy their lives as opposed to me keeping them all in from now on. They shouldn't be held prisoner and I love to see them playing in the grass and taking it easy. I DEFINITELY WANT TO REMIND EVERYONE TO BE ALERT OF YOUR OWN SAFETY AND SECURITY WHILE YOUR DOORS ARE OPENED. All in all, I totally recommend this product! The magnets are stronger than one reviewer mentioned. They love my metal door, that's for sure! I'm enjoying the screens and in my own oddly absurd way, I love looking at them and playing with the magnets. Cheap thrills indeed. I feel like you'll be surprised at what this simple product can do to improve your indoor/outdoor enjoyment. If you have pets, I found it best to leave a bottom corner of the screens unfastened so they will find it easier to understand. The screen still drops closed after they enter and exit. My cats had to be visually shown at first and now they understand it. Also, I no longer have to leave food and water bowls outside any more than I have to. Ants and mosquito larvae aren't a good thing for them to ingest. They can come in to get their refreshments all fresh, clean and cool, and I can keep tabs on who's in and who's out. GO GET ONE OR SEVERAL. You won't regret it. I hope this helps you and I'd love to hear any comments.

I installed this product about two weeks ago and it worked just like it said, BUT I have two rough boys and one of them stands 6'7" tall. They tore right through it, now everytime they come in or go out, I have to get up and close the screen myself! Also, one of the magnets have already fallen off. It's a great concept, but I think it would be better for people who will be more gentle with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item has pretty straightforward instructions and is easy to install. It is a little too wide for my standard door frame and sliding door. The magnets are really grippy and easily open and close. I wish the spaces between the magnets wasn’t so wide as it does kind of leave a gap. This will hopefully help keep mosquitos and flies out of our house when we enter through the garage door.

I would absolutely recommend this product! It fits our door very well, was easy to install, and is obviously keeping the Flies out. It's easy for family and pets to go through. As long as you install it properly, you should have no troubles. We used rubbing alcohol on the door frame to clear all dirt and debris and to allow the adhesive to stick better. Use all the tacks and all of the velcro strips provided and it will give a good barrier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great for Arizona winter, when we want to keep the door open without letting bugs in, while still allowing our dog in and out! It was easy to set up and adhesive sticks well. It doesn't seem extremely durable so definitely curious to see how long it lasts, but overall it's been a great addition so far.
