Easy to install with push pins for the top and adhesitv strips for the sides but... We open the screen and let it go and it does NOT connect back together with the magnets as the commercials and the advertising on the box shows. Would be nice if it did but it doesn't. Every time we go through the screen we have to manually pull the flaps closed so that the magnets will attach to each other as they will not do it on their own. Yes we adjusted the screen several times and nothing worked. Also even when the magnets close the middle of the screen there are large gaps which will easily allow bugs, flies, mosquitoes, and possibly small birds to get through. Total waste of our money and our time.

The first one I got, the seem was ripped before I opened it. I stitched it up. Before the day was done, a whole section pretty much unraveled. I took it back to the store for a replacement. The second one made it through the weekend, which I suppose was worth the price. I was really excited about a long term screen tho.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s great for keeping bugs out of your house and discouraging pets from going outside, at least until they try to lean on it. The magnets are strong so you still need to use your hands to get through it. That was the only down side. It’s great if you just want to use it to keep bugs out though. A great temporary solution for screen doors and for hosting parties.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d seen the Magic Mesh Hands-Free Screen Door and always wanted to try it. So glad we did. The mesh is very thin, almost like a screen enclosure which still allows a nice breeze to flow through while keeping the bugs out. The magnets keep the door shut and work well.

We bought the magic mesh to keep flys from coming in our back door this summer. It was great initially and all my dogs figured out how to use it just fine. Then one day my dog walked through and instead of the magnets opening as they normally do the screen split away from the magnets creating a giant hole! I could not believe this didn't even last a month! If you use this screen door frequently you'll notice that the screen will start to rip from the seem down the center quickly. This is so cheaply made! We will be buying a different brand next year!

The product does work on both front and back doors. The magnets work like they should. However, when installing it, the screens either aren't cut properly or the intended installation isn't clear on expectations. I expected the align the magnets then secure the screen. Unfortunately, when you secure the screen from top to bottom the top magnets pull apart and can not connect again. The screen has to be less than taut and not squared in order to make it work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the idea that the magic mesh screen represents. It is good for a temp fix but not long term. I used this and while it is good for me it doesn’t keep my grand children or pets from getting out. Having said that, if you live alone or with adults only then this would be great for you.

I decided to buy the As Seen on TV Magic Mesh after seeing how wonderful a similar product worked at my uncle's house. To be honest I didn't expect it to completely suck! The velcro tape it came with would not stick. We had to hold it up just to keep it in place so that we could nail in the wood nails. The nails kept bending and when it was all up and nailed the magnets would not close on their own. It was such a heachache to deal with that my husband ultimately returned it!

I love this screen. I bought it for my back yard sliding door because I was tired of jumping up every 2 seconds to let my dogs in and out plus this screen makes going in and out so much easier to go in and out when entertaining in the back yard. Once my dogs got used to how this worked, they love it as much as we do. It was so easy to put up and stays in place perfectly and the magnets snap right back into place most of the time. It seems to be made well so I think it will last. I would highly recommend this and my only regret is not buying it sooner!

We ordered this to use in our front door as a cheaper alternative to buying a screen door. We absolutely love it, was easy to hang and now we can enjoy the view and the nice evening breezes coming through! I would recommend for those who want a cheap alternative to a screen door. We don't go in and out of it all the time, so not sure if you have a lot of traffic if it would wear fast? Seems like it would be okay.
