[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Magic Mesh hands free screen door is a game changer. We live in Texas and love to entertain indoors and out but Texas means lots of bugs. So it’s so nice to be able to have an easy flow to move in and out of the house without worrying if a bunch of bugs are coming in. Also eliminates a lot of me yelling for my kids to shut the door ha because as soon as you walk through the mesh closes itself. It was easy to install and works great!

I purchased this item on April 21st 2022, it is only the 6th of May now,within the first week this item already started to rip from the magnet's, and it already has a hole in it around the magnets,the bottom part of the door which is supposed to be velcroed has already completely came undone from the velcro! There is strings coming off of it! I purchased one before about 2 years ago that actually lasted all summer and no issues! This is not from the same company! I will not recommend this product because it does not last period. .

The first one I got, the seem was ripped before I opened it. I stitched it up. Before the day was done, a whole section pretty much unraveled. I took it back to the store for a replacement. The second one made it through the weekend, which I suppose was worth the price. I was really excited about a long term screen tho.

Not hard to install, but it doesn't hold in place. The magnets work just fine, they are strong holding the panels together. The adhesive of the velcro attachments that are supposed to hold up the netting in door frame is not sufficient. The netting gets unstuck from the velcro strips and the netting falls under its own weight. Next, we will try stapling the darn thing to the frame. But as is, the item has a major flaw.

Top is a one piece - magnets are stronger - magnets align correctly and easy to install. Support your Velcro strips with tacks that are supplied. I am impressed with the new design. I had problems with these in the past . It is a product that I would buy again.

I have had this mesh screen in the past and have dealt with the magnets falling off, but at least it lasted half the Summer before I had to buy a new one. This one, "New and Improved version" didn't even last a week. I took the advice of a friend, who said to glue the plastic boxes that hold the magnets together and still they broke and fell off. The screen is flimsy and tears easily. Terribly made product and will not purchase again.

I been searching online for a similar product because the RATING is so LOW, Everybody say don’t waste your money on this product! I search on Amazon, bug off Instant screen its like 35.22 + taxes it will be like 40 dollar. Then, I come up an Idea thinking I can make one my own!! Calculating the material costs, around 15-20 dollar, and having to worry about if it doesn’t work. And on their official website BUY 1 get 1 FREE!! What a good deal, 19.95 and you have TWO, BUT!! It doesn’t include S&H shipping and handling. And you have to pay for the extra 7.95 S&H for the free one, so it will cost $15.00 just for the shipping Itself. And we when on shopping trip to WALMART, and saw this product and thought I would just give it a try. Cons: before we setting it up, We know there are some problems, 1. Two Mesh Panels, They are the same length But the magnet doesn’t line up 100%,its more like 97%, so two panel doesn’t line up perfectly, little bit off. (I can deal with that) 2. Our door its 31inch, the mesh its more like 39 inch. (how should I deal with it) DON’T do what we did, take it as a tip. So we can’t set up like the instruction, because our door is smaller, or else it will be tape on outside of the door frame which is on the wall. We folded the side inward, so it will be tying it up, but it’s too tight that the magnet doesn’t come together. So we figure it should be loose. We redo the taping, the normal way, and we overlapping the top middle tape, so that the top pulling the magnets together all the way to the bottom. It WORKS! IT WORK like it’s on the commercial. I have 2 dogs, a collie and a golden retriever; it looks like they don’t need to learn how to use it, just come so naturally. They love it, we love it, I can really feel the breeze without worry about the annoying flies. HEY! just $14.00 not bad!!

We ordered this to use in our front door as a cheaper alternative to buying a screen door. We absolutely love it, was easy to hang and now we can enjoy the view and the nice evening breezes coming through! I would recommend for those who want a cheap alternative to a screen door. We don't go in and out of it all the time, so not sure if you have a lot of traffic if it would wear fast? Seems like it would be okay.

This product is everything they say on the box and advertisement. With any product though you need to assess your need and if it will work for that need. We installed the Magic Mesh over the door that leads from our kitchen to our garage. We live in an apartment with little or no cross venelation and we didn't want to install a screen door in the rental we will only have for one year and so far it is meeting that need perfectly. It intalls very easily and we did use the tacks that it came with to re-enforce the top. The tops of the tacks do break off easily though and make sure the magnets are able to close before tacking; it is easy to get it too taut across the top. I am not convinced that this would be a good product in the out of doors but works well on an interior standard size door.

I will say it's easy set up and great for those days when it's sunny and 75 and you have the rest of the house open to the fresh air. Easily go in and out and your dogs can too without the worry of the flies coming in. Also recommend if you have parties.
