Magic Mesh

I like how the Mesh covers and the entire door & the magnets work well. It is perfect for our dog who likes to go in and out as the weather changes quickly were we live. The only problem I have, is the Hook and Loop does not stick well. I've used other mesh brand screens that had better quality sticky stuff and didn't have that problem.

NOT WORTH $2

Whomever gave this good reviews must be small.... If you have shoulders forget this junk.... Each time you go through it, it feels like it's going to pull off the velcro (and it will either do that or rip or like me, being carefull, I just lost $50 because this piece of crap caught on what I was carrying and caused me to drop it.

Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to put up. I feel like the magnets could be a bit stronger, but it does the job. It will definitely benefit is more in the summer months when the flies and mosquitoes are out. I would buy and recommend.

Works well and easy installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enjoying this easy breezy screen! Quick setup for temporary or long term use; without having to install an actual screen door. Includes the needed hardware; sticky strips and a small box of wood tacks for added security (careful opening the small box, they’re sharp!). The magnets are quick and effective, detaching easily and quickly snapping back into place. The meshy screen is tight enough to keep the bugs with still maintaining a visibility through the material. 🚫🦟🦟🦟🚫💯💯

Easy breezy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install and it clings together. It’s keeping the bugs out but letting my cooped up toddlers run in and out of the backyard without worrying about forgetting to close the door. We’ve had fewer bugs in the house since installing.

Seems to be of questionable quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free in exchange for my review. I was pretty excited about it since my 3 dogs are constantly begging to go in and out. Upon opening the package, the first thing I noticed was that the mesh and the binding seemed very lightweight. The binding felt almost like paper tape or a very flimsy nylon. Some assembly is required, as there are strips that have to be attached for hanging, which is a bit tedious. Once hung, the magnets and strips offered some weight to keep the screen from blowing in. But the magnets, while tight enough to hold the 2 panels together, were space too far apart. This led to gaping holes that easily allowed flies and other creatures in. In addition, the magnets were attached in such a way that the bottoms of the 2 panels didn't align correctly, so there was a gap there as well. Overall, I was super disappointed with this product and definitely would not recommend it

Don't waste your money.

This product is extremely cheap. I don't mean inexpensive either...one of the worse purchases. The adhesive strips are weak and the glue doesn't stand up to the heat of the sun, therefore, the Velcro detaches from the frame and ALL SORTS of bugs, big & small have their way in. It's too long for the sliding glass door {standard size door}. Being too long, it causes the puppies to step on the bottom, which pulls it down from the top, the material is very flimsy. It looked great...the first couple of hours that it was hanging. But it wasn't long before it was ripped off one side and needed to be removed completely and placed in its proper place.....the trash.

Exceptional!

If you not have a screen already this IS the one! You have to support the top a little more than with just velcro & a thumb tac. But once you do amazing! We had to put ours outside of the door way of our apartment. Our dog just loves it, as we do. We no longer have to shut the door because of bugs. Worth EVERY PENNY. Thank you:)

Love Hate Relationship

Bought it again this year (year 4 of repurchase). I think I've got it right this year! Year 1: mesh not aligned and magnets weak. It was crooked and ugly. It was a mess! I thought it was a good product idea, i'll give them another chance. Year 2: my mom got one for her house and it's been up for 2 years (looks good too). Year 3: I installed it in the INSIDE of door frame . HUGE mistake. It was also a raggedy mess by fall. Think I will try it again and follow the instructions next time (I don't think I understood them) ego fail... Year 4: do like mom, take your time and follow each step. Put one in front and back doors. The Magic Mesh was waaaay too big for backdoor. Rigged it up by adhering velcro as far as I could on the frame, fold the mesh until taught on both sides while keeping magnets connected and pinning down with tacks. I hope it wont tear apart as it gets windy in the back. Frontdoor: Magnets would not connect at top so I made an adjustment by tacking the top middle part HIGHER than I had it. Problem solved.

Exactly what I wanted!

I am so happy with this. I wanted something to keep my back door open to enjoy cool breezes or keep it open when we are constantly in and out on our porch. This is perfect. I read a lot of reviews and took some advice from another that really helped me for what suited my door. I measured out the length rolled up the top and tacked it up inside the door frame, then tacked the sides rolled up inside my door frame. Once I tested that the magnets were working, I used my staple gun to secure. Love it so much! The only obstacle I had was my top was at first not matching up, so the top magnets weren't latching but since I had tacks in I could keep adjusting before stapling. Even if I have to replace it every 1-2 years I am okay with that.
