Not what they used to be. Bought one years ago and i seem to remember it being heavier. It lasted at least 2 years of constant use. Purchased another one a couple of weeks ago and it immediately came apart at the top within a few days of being hung. It also seemed very stiff and "paper-y" compared to my previous one. I have also owned the Duck Brand version which feels about the same. The only reason will consider buying the Magic Mesh brand again is because the magnts are significantly better.

This item works for the most part. It's a little bit of an awkward fit on smaller width doors and most of the time needs some assistance to close properly. Snapping 2 of the magnets together usually causes the others to snap closed as well. It does involve attaching velcro with an adhesive strip to your door casing.

This screen works well however the double stick tape goes on the door frame or wall around the door and it peels off your paint so when you want to take it down, you are left with unsightly looking door frames and or walls. The adhesive is not sufficient over time to hold the screen up, so the wood nails are a must. The idea is great and magnets work very well.

After installation, I can just leave the back door open and no flies can come inside. I have three dogs and they just go right outside and back in through the magic mesh and still no flies come in behind them. It works great. Good ventilation for the room to.

It was wider than my opening and no way to adjust it to narrow it. The Velcro glue ons were not very good to keep it up. It was my mistake for trying it and not having any help to install it. Used it one day and it fell down and my pups chewed it up. So could not return it.

I could see this working on a wooden panel door frame but the magnets for the metal frame just can't hold and even when we nought sturdier velcro it kept falling off its a great value if it can go in your door frame as it looked nice put together and worked it just couldn't stay up on our metal frame so the idea is there but I don't think it works on all door types as well

I was greatly disappointed in this product. The fabric is flimsy and glue on velcro tabs is weak. I had to reinforce the whole thing with more velcro and stronger glue. The first time the children went through the doorway, the whole thing fell off. Even though I followed the instructions, there are gaps between the magnets (big enough to allow flies through) because the fabric is not heavy enough to hang down straight. I tried steaming to remove wrinkles from shipping and it does not help. The magnets do attract well and would work better if screen or at least border tape were made from a heavier product. I am considering removing the whole thing and replacing with a standard screen door.

3 time purchasing this item. It installs easy and really does work like the TV commercial demonstrates. The magnets catch and hold like they are suppose to. The only issues is that the winter months can be real hard on the fabric. If you do not take it down with cold harsh temps, it will naturally wear and tear, but for the cost you cannot beat it.

Does not stay on and even tried to replace the two way tape to adhere it, do not buy unless you want a screen that is always on the ground. The material is better quality than those of previous years but what good is it when your not relaxing but consistently looking like a fool.

Super quick & easy to put up. Works great. Snaps shut behind us & the dogs every single time. Great value. I will never go back to the sliding screen doors, that always get ruined. I highly reccomend this product. It looks and works exactly as described.
