With spring here, opening my balcony door always invited in the bugs (flies, bees, etc.). I thought I try this and hope it would be "okay". I was wrong... it is great! :-) Installation was a snap (instructions written in simple understandable English with excellent pictures to insure a great install. I am sitting at my computer enjoying the fresh air... with out the uninvited pests!

I wanted something that could go on our back door to help keep the bugs out since we have dogs that are constantly wanting in and out. With 4 dogs, they don't always want to go out at the same time. I thought of a doggie door, but our dogs are so varied in size that I wasn't sure the little 7 pound dog would be able to push open the door for the 180 pound dog (St Bernard) so thought I'd give it a try. I really thought they would either not use it or tear it up, but they all walked through it the first day (except the little dog, she's still a bit leery of it) and it has held up great. I also thought it would be ugly, but it's not! Installation was easy (we did use the enclosed tacks for extra security holding it on) and the magnets line up and close as you walk through. It does a great job keeping the bugs out, specially at night when they want to swarm the light inside. We're very pleased and the price was very resonable.

The screen looks and works as advertised. Velcro sticks well on wood and screen. It does not stick as well on stucco surfaces. We used the tacks provided and some of our own to keep the Velcro attached to the stucco. Magnetic closures work great.

I put this up in my patio door yesterday afternoon and by this morning it had all fell off. The directions say something about a hook and loop and I have no idea what that meant. The pictures don't really help for that part. And since I am in an apartment, I did not want to use the thumb tacks in the door frame. Also, when I took the mesh screen door out of the box, some of the fabric was already ripped. I might have done that pulling it out of the box, but then that means it is a super cheap quality fabric. And 2 of the magnets were broken. It is very, very annoying. Debating on returning and getting my money back.

This is super great, if you like to have the door open, and allow air to flow. Magnets open and close super easy, by just pushing. Works great. Keeps bugs out. Only issue is, with a metal door... this is FRUSTRATING. Rather than the magnets snapping closed... they automatically go straight to the door. If the wind blows at all, straight onto the door.

The idea was good, but the overall development of the product was poorly done. After installing the unit, I immediately saw where flies, mosquitos, and moths could enter my home through the sides of the unit. The sides of the unit only have 3 self stick/velcro pads. This leaves soooo many gaps that every flying insect will have access to your home. Keep your money in your pocket. I took my Magic Mesh back the day after I received it.

This is a great idea! So many times we keep telling people or the kids to close the door because flies will come in and they never do! At least with this net, it will close by itself and we don't have to worry. plus going in and out when your hands are full is great too! I love it!

The box say's easy to install and minutes to assemble. I would say it took us about 3 hours all together from taking it out of the box to completion. We also purchased extra Velcro according to reviews we had read before purchasing this product. Once we got all our measurements figured out and spent a whole 30 seconds attaching each and every Velcro sticker, about 20 of them we then had to attach those same 20 some Velcro stickers to the door frame, another 30 seconds for each of them too. Now if your not used to holding your arms up for any length of time, your arms get tired. Then we chose to tack all the Velcro strips with tack nails for extra security. But the product does work, we are pleased so far. It is just not easy to put up. If you plan on purchasing this and assembling it, give yourself a few hours.

This is really great to keep our door open and not let bugs in. My dog likes the freedom of going in and out. Our cat watched us and learned how to get out. That's the only problem since he is not an outside cat. We put up a baby gate to keep the cat in.

It is a great product for someone with limited traffic. The screen was very easy to install. It took only 10 minutes to put up and if you use the tacks that it comes with it stays in place and works like a charm. I will say that if you are going to put this in a high traffic area you may have some of the problems that others have written about. So, take it for what it is and enjoy.
