I bought these for my daughter who has just recently moved in to a townhouse community. Her lease prohibits installing any type of screen doors so this product was totally on point! It went up without a hitch (we did go to the hardware store and purchase industrial strength velcro just in case) and now she can keep the back door open without any worries of bugs! Side note: The weekend she installed them she was dog-sitting for her neighbor. It took "Guiness" about 10 seconds to figure out how to go out and come in! And everytime he did...YOU HEARD THE MAGNETS CLICKING SHUT! Amazing!!! Don't listen to the negative comments...TRY THEM...what have you got to lose!?!

This is super great, if you like to have the door open, and allow air to flow. Magnets open and close super easy, by just pushing. Works great. Keeps bugs out. Only issue is, with a metal door... this is FRUSTRATING. Rather than the magnets snapping closed... they automatically go straight to the door. If the wind blows at all, straight onto the door.

Works, but not for long! We only got about a month out of it before the hot, then rainy Ohio weather got it. almost like the sticky parts melted off my door way. It was awesome when it was up properly, though! Definitely would get stronger sticky velcro.

and a plastic magnet casing breaking and falling away. I live in a fairly mild climate and bought this item so I could leave my door open for my 3 dogs while keeping bugs out. It was up and installed for less than a day before tearing from use or the wind. Also, one of the plastic casings that houses the magnets keeping the 2 screen "curtain" pieces together broke apart. A good concept, but not a good product for a household with 3 lively dogs.

With spring here, opening my balcony door always invited in the bugs (flies, bees, etc.). I thought I try this and hope it would be "okay". I was wrong... it is great! :-) Installation was a snap (instructions written in simple understandable English with excellent pictures to insure a great install. I am sitting at my computer enjoying the fresh air... with out the uninvited pests!

The idea was good, but the overall development of the product was poorly done. After installing the unit, I immediately saw where flies, mosquitos, and moths could enter my home through the sides of the unit. The sides of the unit only have 3 self stick/velcro pads. This leaves soooo many gaps that every flying insect will have access to your home. Keep your money in your pocket. I took my Magic Mesh back the day after I received it.

It sort of does the trick… you have to make sure you don’t make it too tight when you set it up because the magnets won’t stay together. T Also, the nylon shreds within a few days of regular use, and you end up with 7’ long black threads wrapping around you when you walk in or out. Super annoying!

Disappointed in this product for use on our sliding glass door opening. It did not work as seamlessly as on the television commercial, which I could deal with as long as the bugs stayed outside. The real bummer was when waking the next morning to see that both sides were lying on the deck!

It was not very sturdy, at I had it up correctly however I have grandchildren and a medium size dog going in and out and the screen pulled away from the border. They didn’t go through the magnets they were getting it out from the corner of the screen.

Not quite the quality I had hoped for. I wasn't thrilled with having to stick velcro to my walls (the Magic Mesh was so long that I had to attach it above the door frame on my wall). Also the velcro didn't stick well on the textured wall. The magnets didn't line up quite right either. After several adjustments and some plain ol' American enginuity it worked, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
