Hopeful.

I am going to return this item. I think maybe it was a return. The item is torn at the bottom of where the mesh magnets meet. My husband temporarily patched with gorilla tape to hold until we receive our replacement. I ordered another mesh and it should be delivered shortly.

Inexpensive and Easy

The product is good for the price. It meets the purpose of what we want the product to do. Easy to assemble and no time to put up. I feel that the product might have a short shelf life. But, again you get what you pay for and I do not expect anything less.

Ripped first day

The net ripped at the top the first day it was set up as the instructions said and the very top of the net that the magnets are connected to ripped on the first day it’s very disappointing because I had seen this for years and wanted to try. It works except the top part that is torn. Manufacturers Probably should have added some fabric to the areas that get the most movement like the top center. Bottom is fine but the flies come in through the top

Awesome product and not expensive!

Awesome product. But if you have a toddler (like me) they will tug on it and rip it off if you let them. So maybe you could figure out a way to more securely attach it with screws or something instead of pushpins and sticky Velcro. So there’s nothing wrong with the product, it’s works great! I totally recommend this product because it keeps flies, gnats, and other bugs out! I just wouldn’t recommend it if you have stubborn toddlers who love to destroy stuff haha

I read the reviews before buying and saw some negative ones but the one that stuck with me was the one that said read the instructions! This is my second one to purchase. (The dog got left out in the rain and tore up the first) The dogs run in and out of it and it closes back up. Reading the instructions and installing properly is the key!

Easily installed screen

The screen looks and works as advertised. Velcro sticks well on wood and screen. It does not stick as well on stucco surfaces. We used the tacks provided and some of our own to keep the Velcro attached to the stucco. Magnetic closures work great.

Good screen door alternative.

I love this but.... Make sure the size will fit, of its not perfect it fits weird. It is super convenient. No need to open and close. Free hands if cooking out or having a party to carry stuff in and out. Great for pets to go in and out. Biggest negatives are. The size. if it doesn't fit exactly it is a little weird fitting and can let bugs in. You have to be very careful when putting it up not to pull it to tight or the magnets don't work. The vector tabs don't stick to all surfaces. It is a great concept and I highly recommend one if you don't have a screen door but it's not going to be perfect so expect that. I am thinking about buying 1 more for 1 more for just because the cost of everything is the the roof right now so it's a good alternative till I buy the real thing. You can't beat the price for what it is.

Not for us

I could see this working on a wooden panel door frame but the magnets for the metal frame just can't hold and even when we nought sturdier velcro it kept falling off its a great value if it can go in your door frame as it looked nice put together and worked it just couldn't stay up on our metal frame so the idea is there but I don't think it works on all door types as well

Great for Dogs

I have purchased three of these over the past couple of years. They work very well. Have to keep replacing because of the dogs tearing them when the scratch on the door. They don't look the best but they work great. I will continue to use them so I can keep the door open on cool days and let my dogs run in and out while keeping the fly's out of my house

This is super great, if you like to have the door open, and allow air to flow. Magnets open and close super easy, by just pushing. Works great. Keeps bugs out. Only issue is, with a metal door... this is FRUSTRATING. Rather than the magnets snapping closed... they automatically go straight to the door. If the wind blows at all, straight onto the door.
