I really love this controller since the features are so extensive and also I really want to just put the stick drift issue behind me and this is the way to do it. The reason being is because I am able to just replace the sticks on this controller and they are easy to replace as well so its a win for me.

way better then the elite model for Xbox due to the fact you can replace the joysticks yourself at a reasonable price round twenty dollars, vs having to send in the Xbox controller to get repaired and be out a controller for weeks. must buy from Sony

ive been using a scuf impact since 2019 and today I haved switched to the Dual sense edge, and wow! as happy as i am for not going for the ps5 scuf controller [350 main reason lol almost the same price as the ps5 i purchased] i was taken at back. the material feel sturdier, as compared to my scuf impact it does not creak, nor feels cheap. now the software kn the ps5? customize your controller could never been easier.

You can only program the paddles to do what some other button is already programmed to do. that is you cannot and make them do 🔼 ⏹️ and they do not have a designation such as R4 or L4. so you are not gaining two buttons but rather reassigning. You can change any of the other buttons to anything else however so square can be circle R1 can be a paddle. So for that I give it a ⭐⭐⭐

The battery life absolutely sucks so i have to keep it wired to play without it dying on me but the other features make it somewhat worth it i feel like if you chipped in an extra $100 you can get a much better controller with better battery life, more back buttons, and you wont have to keep it on charge not to mention it occasionally shocks me when im playing but its not painful however it does nip at you

Overall, the controller works very well. I'm not a professional gamer, but apparently I'm hard on my controllers. I've gone through 4 controllers. One of the controllers was sent back under warranty. I purchased this controller so I could swap out the stick modules when they invariably develop stick drift. I wasn't interested in the programmable profiles. I didn't do enough research on the stick modules because it looks as if the bots have won again because you cannot purchase a replacement stick module at MSRP anywhere. The scalpers are charging nearly as much for a replacement module as a new Dual Sense controller. It's a big scam.

Excellent controller with strong build quality. It may not have all the bells and whistles of other “Pro” style controllers, but what it does do, it does perfectly. Controller provides excellent options when connected to a PS5 console and the small additions such as the rubberized grips and textured triggers really set it above the rest. Certainly a must buy if you own a PlayStation 5 and use it regularly. However, I can’t recommend it for use on PC. Many of the controllers functions aren’t supported there, and the build quality alone doesn’t warrant the $200 price tag.

Bought it as a gift and he loves it! Usually we bought the thumb sticks that come off give us a kind of extra feel and better aim but now he can adjust every setting of sensitivity to aim shoot and turn around. After the final set up and a couple practice rounds he told me this was one of the best gifts I’d given him. I noticed the controller does die a bit faster than the others but maybe it’s because he plays more often with his new one :) he gets lots more kills in COD now. Buy this controller for the gamer in your life they will be grateful.

Ok so if you have come to the review section you are probably wondering if you should get this. Now I got this because I am trying to become a professional gamer and this is a large step for me. I definitely recommend this. Nothing is wrong with it at all

This is a great controller, although definitely not an essential one. If you’re really into competitive gaming, like competing in tournaments and stuff then I would suggest picking this up, however for casual players it’s a bit overkill. My main complaint with this is that the rubber on the back has began to bubble after only 5 months of use, and I take very good care of my stuff. It’s been a few years since this controller released, so I assume they will come out with a 2nd version very soon, hopefully fixing this problem. You may want to wait until then.
