excellent

The robustness is superb. Feels sturdier than the original. Don't get me wrong, not saying the original is bad. Just acknowledging the difference in quality. The only problem i have is the material used for the inside grips. It leads to more sweating and is harder to clean.

you don't get what you pay for

after purchasing it and opening the case I noticed there is a spot right in the center of the case designed specifically for holding an extra thumb stick, yet there's nothing there. for $200 you would think Sony would include an extra thumbstick so that you can replace one should they go bad instead of charging you a ridiculous premium to buy them. I would not recommend purchasing this to anybody. you are better off to buy a third-party controller that uses hall effect sticks and save yourself a lot of trouble

Weak paddle slots will loosen up making it unusabl

The controller is good but I have had two so far and both only lasted 7 weeks roughly and I mainly only play on the weekends. The left paddle gets loose where it’s held into place and then paddle is right up so close to controller making it unusable. I’m not pressing hard on paddle or anything. 215$ controller that last a mere 7 weeks only before problems sad because usually Sony makes good products but with This flaw it’s not very good. Then Sony wants 13$ for you to ship it back then get a hopefully new one all just to have same problem again in 7-8 weeks.

Excellent, But Very Overpriced

Sony appears to be testing the limits of what gamers are willing to spend on a controller. The price is very exhorbitant. It's a well-functioning controller, with additional buttons that can be programmed via the PS5 Controller Setting menu. The case is of very high quality, but doesn't allow charging while the case is closed. The battery life is poor, at around two hours of use per charge.

A very nice and neat controller you definitely get your moneys worth the only thing I don’t like is the paddles I feel like there should be some change with it but other than that the controller is customizable with dead zone the joystick replacement and how easy and simple it is to do all around a great controller

Worth The Investment

Been wanting to buy this controller for the main reason of the stick drift issue, the additional back buttons was an added extra for me to learn since I’ve never used a Pro controller before. Spending $20 instead of $60 to replace the sticks is worth the investment.

Love it

Didn’t know if I’d like it at first but I really do and the fact you can buy new sticks once the stick drift starts in, pretty cool. Battery life is okay but definitely recommend putting your controller settings on low it will help with the battery life. Overall I love it and I would buy another one

Awesome Option

I love the paddles, they feel very ergonomic and provide a satisfying click when pressed, they stay in the controller really well and I've haven't had them malfunction or fall out yet. (Also they're made out metal! Bonus points) I love how the feel of the controller is exactly like the regular dualsense which provides a very familiar feel snd experience to using the controller. Setup is nothing like third party modded controllers; every thing is simple and all built in to playstation, they even give you a little tutorial when you first setup the controller. All in all this is a great but if your looking for a controller with added functionality or if you are even a bit competitive. For the price I think its right around the ballpark of most if not all the other modded controllers but this one is from Sony itself and fits nicely within the playstation ecosystem.

Only worth it if you’ve got the money.

It’s a heavier and ever so slightly bigger than the original DualSense. It’s a learning curve if you decide to get it and it’s your first time with a modified controller. I think there’s definitely cheaper more viable options out there. However, with that said.. the customisability of button remapping is a joy. Especially with the custom profiles you can set and quickly swap between. The choice between some or regular flat back paddles are a nice additional choice for you to swap between or mix and match. Aesthetically, this controller hits the mark to be directly in line with the console and looks lovely beside it. Moreover, the carrying hard shell case that mimics the Xbox elite controller’s is a beautifully made case that I would just use even to house the controller while not playing. Downside to the 10ft braided cable would be nicer if it were usb-c on both ends. That said, the usb c cable lock housing to make sure you can play with a wired experience is a great thing to have to make sure it doesn’t slip out while gaming. The battery for the controller after only having the product for a week, definitely sucks. More so than a regular DualSense in fact. I’ve found myself having to charge it at least once in in a 5 hour gaming session. Another reason to play wired.
