This controller is perfect of fps games. It won’t make you a better player unfortunately but at least it feels good to use and the setup is minimal. Definitely a stronger and sturdier controller than the base ones, but the battery life is hilariously bad for how much it costs.

Ok so if you have come to the review section you are probably wondering if you should get this. Now I got this because I am trying to become a professional gamer and this is a large step for me. I definitely recommend this. Nothing is wrong with it at all

The robustness is superb. Feels sturdier than the original. Don't get me wrong, not saying the original is bad. Just acknowledging the difference in quality. The only problem i have is the material used for the inside grips. It leads to more sweating and is harder to clean.

ive been using a scuf impact since 2019 and today I haved switched to the Dual sense edge, and wow! as happy as i am for not going for the ps5 scuf controller [350 main reason lol almost the same price as the ps5 i purchased] i was taken at back. the material feel sturdier, as compared to my scuf impact it does not creak, nor feels cheap. now the software kn the ps5? customize your controller could never been easier.

Bought it as a gift and he loves it! Usually we bought the thumb sticks that come off give us a kind of extra feel and better aim but now he can adjust every setting of sensitivity to aim shoot and turn around. After the final set up and a couple practice rounds he told me this was one of the best gifts I’d given him. I noticed the controller does die a bit faster than the others but maybe it’s because he plays more often with his new one :) he gets lots more kills in COD now. Buy this controller for the gamer in your life they will be grateful.

I love the controller and over the past couple months I e had no problems with any of the buttons or functionality… other than the battery!! It feels like I charge this thing all the time. Great controller minus the battery issue. May as well go ahead and chalk it up to being a wired controller.

way better then the elite model for Xbox due to the fact you can replace the joysticks yourself at a reasonable price round twenty dollars, vs having to send in the Xbox controller to get repaired and be out a controller for weeks. must buy from Sony

after purchasing it and opening the case I noticed there is a spot right in the center of the case designed specifically for holding an extra thumb stick, yet there's nothing there. for $200 you would think Sony would include an extra thumbstick so that you can replace one should they go bad instead of charging you a ridiculous premium to buy them. I would not recommend purchasing this to anybody. you are better off to buy a third-party controller that uses hall effect sticks and save yourself a lot of trouble

the added case and ability to configure the triggers to maximize press or short press is a game changer. the added clips to the bottom back feels nice. doesn't feel cheap. the battery life is short but added cable length is good for charging and playing at the same time. i hope this will last a good 5 to 7 years of use. best to wait to get it on sale.

Great controller! Slightly heavier but after first picking it up you don’t notice anymore. Battery life is a little shorter but that is to be expected since it contains a smaller battery. Adjustable triggers are awesome for shooters where being first to fire matters. Has two extra buttons on the back. Comes with two types, a paddle and more of a button. I personally like the paddles because they don’t stick out as far. You can also remove them if you don’t want them at all. One of my favorite features is the thumb sticks. Pesky things always go bad and now you can easily swap them by just unlocking the face plate and pushing a button to remove them. Controller also is also mappable. Super easy and you can save 4 different profiles that you can switch to in a breeze. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and I just remembered it comes with a great case to hold everything and an extra long charging cable
