only complaint is that if you assumed like I did,and that would be they can have extra buttons outside of the (X,O,L1,R2,etc), you are mistaken. This controller allows you to shift said buttons around to the buttons or duplicate said buttons. Other this I am happy with it.

Only slightly noticeable upgrade from the regular DualSense. Textures, weight, and feel of the plastic still make it feel cheaply made and undeserving of the price difference. Still all plastic, only a bit of texturing for grip, but otherwise it should have been marketed as a special edition color or something (with a $20 upcharge at most). Paddles and shift buttons are cool, but not enough to justify the $130 upcharge from a DualSense. This thing has of course been repeatedly compared to the Xbox Elite, so I suppose I can't go without mentioning that. The Elite feels different and "premium" enough to justify the upcharge- weight, buttons, finish, texture, grips, etc...this thing doesn't. I'd recommend skipping this one.

The robustness is superb. Feels sturdier than the original. Don't get me wrong, not saying the original is bad. Just acknowledging the difference in quality. The only problem i have is the material used for the inside grips. It leads to more sweating and is harder to clean.

I love this controller. My last regular controller started having real bad stick drift to where I couldn't use it at all. So I figured I'd upgrade to the elite when it was on sale. And I'm definitely happy I did! If your into gaming then the elite controllers are for sure where it's at. Love all the customization that you can do with it.

ive been using a scuf impact since 2019 and today I haved switched to the Dual sense edge, and wow! as happy as i am for not going for the ps5 scuf controller [350 main reason lol almost the same price as the ps5 i purchased] i was taken at back. the material feel sturdier, as compared to my scuf impact it does not creak, nor feels cheap. now the software kn the ps5? customize your controller could never been easier.

I love the controller, its feels very nice when playing competitive games like mw3/wz. Only problem which is a BIG problem is that my controller has stick drift straight out the box and ALOT, I was very annoyed and disappointed but the controller took a week to arrive due to delays and I decided might as well keep it.

Sony appears to be testing the limits of what gamers are willing to spend on a controller. The price is very exhorbitant. It's a well-functioning controller, with additional buttons that can be programmed via the PS5 Controller Setting menu. The case is of very high quality, but doesn't allow charging while the case is closed. The battery life is poor, at around two hours of use per charge.

I love the controller and over the past couple months I e had no problems with any of the buttons or functionality… other than the battery!! It feels like I charge this thing all the time. Great controller minus the battery issue. May as well go ahead and chalk it up to being a wired controller.

Ok so if you have come to the review section you are probably wondering if you should get this. Now I got this because I am trying to become a professional gamer and this is a large step for me. I definitely recommend this. Nothing is wrong with it at all

The packaging look like someone had returned it. It was stapled and taped clothes. My son enjoyed the controller initially, but then began to realize that it had a little bit of stick drift to it. Almost as if someone has repeatedly, dropped the controller and returned it.
