Only way to clean our floors. We have very high traffic floors. Swifter type cleaners just aren't enough and traditional mopping leaves dirty water on our floors. This cleans and sucks the dirty water back up so it and all the dirt never stays on the floors.

I was so excited to get this vacuum but I hate to say I have been very underwhelmed. The vacuum suction is terrible and instead of picking up the dirty water, the vacuum spits out dirty water all over my floors. The device receptacle is very difficult to clean and is filled with dampened dust by the end of my cleaning and not a container full of dirty liquid in the promo video. The cord is also not very long and I have to replug it different outlets to clean one room. I feel like instead of making my life easier, this vacuum turns my cleaning into a project. I usually opt to just vacuum with my dyson and then finish with a traditional steamer or mop for cleaner areas.

Our hardwood floors are almost 30 years old. The dirt that came out of the crevices and such was really gross. I cleaned it until the water was clearer initially, 3 passes. Since then I just run it one pass and, clean! We have a lot of foot traffic in and out from my grandchildren. I could not believe how clean the Bissell Crosswave got it and how much OTHER products I used were barely cleaning. I then used it on my area rug and again, clean! I am so impressed with this Crosswave. It is also SO easy to use. It comes apart so easy for cleaning, well thought out design. And my weekly cleaning is a snap; just press the button for the floors and then press the button to switch over to the area rugs. I have been telling everyone I know about it!

I didn't realize how dirty the floors were until I finished doing them with the CrossWave. I also didn't know how much pet hair was all over the floors. This is a real time saver. Having a large dog I am always having to mop my floors. I was looking for a way to make things easier and this product solved the problem. I first used it in the dry mode only to see how it worked on the dog hair and dirt. I was very pleased with the performance. A few days later I used the mop and sweep mode. I was very surprised by how well it cleaned. It was easy to clean, use, and saved me a great deal of time and labor. At times there was a little excessive water on the floor when pushing and pulling back and fouth. I found by letting off the water dispensing trigger and going over the area it picked the water up and looked great. This product overall is great.

I love being able to clean the vacuum because I feel like it will last longer. I just don't like having to clean it after each use. However, it is very easy to take apart to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use on tile floor and carpet and area rugs. I couldn't of bought a better vacuum. I love that i can vacuum and mop all with one pass. The cleaning of vacuum is a little involved but wouldn't of bought any other one. We also have a cat, it does the trick on pet hair and liter. I do wish it had a hose attachment for corners, i had to buy a hand held Dustbuster for that.

The crosswave has been a lifesaver in my house, between multiple children and dogs I was at my wits end with the old fashion sleeping in mopping. It even has my husband and older children wanting to help keep the floors clean which if you don't know that's a true miracle! It's light weight and super easy to use and clean. It definitely keeps my floor spotless no matter what kind of tough mess I put it through. I wish I would have bought it sooner and saved my self so much time and hassle!
