[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An exceptionally easy and convenient way to clean carpet, but especially hardwood/tiled floors. There's no fuss or mess, the Crosswave is easy to set up, but even easier to clean than other similar appliances. It is light weight, very maneuverable, and with the reticulated head, one can reach just about anywhere to clean. The best part is that the cleaned surface is dried quickly.

It is more maneuverable than I expected (albeit less so in the bathroom), and cleans well and quickly. Various reviewers have complained about the cleanup time. Cleanup, like many other things in life is a learning curve. The second or third time it is so quick and easy. We've bought an "area rug brush", but the multipurpose brush does work surprisingly well on low-pile carpets Warm water for the cleaning solution helps. I suggest microwaving 4 cups of water in a 4-cup-measuring cup for 4 minutes, add the cleaner first, then pour in the warm water. Put a fresh cup of water in the microwave to heat while you are using the first batch of cleaning solution. Two suggestions (for users, and maybe the "user manual" writers): 1) The "user manual" mentions releasing the fluid for 10 seconds or so when you startup. My wife misinterpreted that to mean that you give a 10 second bursts and then scrub for a while, and repeat. In fact, you have to hold down the spray lever virtually the whole time (unless you are just dry vacuuming) to get enough cleaning solution down to be any use. 2) The "user manual" seems to imply that there is a "quick cleanup" and an optional more extensive cleanup option (using the cleaning tray). That's not the case -- our floor really wasn't dirty, but we still had to use the cleaning tray. Actually, I suggest using the cleaning tray first, and then cleaning the brush more afterward, if necessary.

It makes for such easy cleanup whether it's to vacuum up a small crumb mess or to mop a large area! I wish I would have invested in this machine the 1st day it came out. Nothing like having the right tools to get the job done quick and easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a crosswave several months ago to try to reduce the steps to cleaning my hardwood and tile floors and area rugs. We founded and run a Non-profit cat rescue so have several cats who have various issues and make messes. We also have a rescue poodle in a wheel chair who is incontinent and sometimes leaks his diaper. The crosswave (as well as the Bissell rug cleaners we have) does a superb job of helping us keep our house clean. I recently decided to purchase one to try in our rescue building which houses 35-45 free roaming cats (our rescue is cage free) at any given time. We have to sanitize the rescue daily, but I have never been satisfied with how we clean the floors, because despite the great products we use, it still feels like mops are just moving the dirt and germs around. The Crosswave works great to clean the rescue floor and out volunteers love it! The kitties think it is a bit loud but they tolerate it! We are hoping to win the $1000 for our cat rescue!

I say was, but after a lot of abuse... this vacuum was still running fine. I donated it to a pet shelter and upgrade with to a new Bissell

Disappointed with this product. Hoover no better than my Dyson and a lot louder. Washer no better than my Spinwave. Leaves too much untouched at edges. Very time consuming to clean machine after use. Better job done with my current products in less time. Returned for full refund

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 7 cats, 3 little dogs and 3 parakeets. You can imagine the fur balls, accidents and feathers that occur. I had back surgery 4 years ago. Instead of sweeping all my vinyl floors first and then going back over them with a mop I can do it all in one step. I'm in my 70's and it helps to eliminate some of the work I've been doing.

I'm impressed with this product. Easy to put together and clean. What's interesting is I've used a mop bucket, a commercial steam cleaner and the cross wave. I have vinyl flooring that has special cleaning instructions. I can cover about 1,800 SqFt with one container treatment. I was shocked at how the wet vac intake container water was black. No residue or streaking. I have a large home so my only want is it to be twice as wide to cover more SqFt quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After several weeks of use, the Bissell CrossWave has proven to be an efficient excellent multi-tasker! I just pull it out and both sweep and mop at the same time. I find myself "mopping" my floors now much more frequently because it isn't such a chore now. The tank is always full of opaque filthy water after I use it, even when the floor appears clean beforehand. The machine is lightweight and easy to maneuver and the tank is easy to clean too. I would definitely buy this product again. #sweepstakes
