I wish I hadn't waited so longnto make this purchase! I bought the cordless option for myself. I waited because the price was so steep. But its worth every single penny and then some. I purchased this (the corded) for my adult son's first apartment. He loves it too!

I'm happy with the product because it gets my floors clean and helped with spot treatments on my carpets. I read the reviews beforehand and can agree that it requires some maintenance with each use to get the best results. You need to take apart various pieces and rinse them off are using but the dirt water afterwards is so satisfying, it's worth it.

Being a bit skeptical, I finally used the Christmas gift tonight - and purposely my floors were past ready for a clean. The cleaning solution smells great, very easy to follow instructions and use, and like others have said it doesn't get close to the edges. Since I have an older home, it doesn't do so well getting around odd corners -- so I still had to wipe up tight spots that my vacuum would have gotten. Very good swivel head, and did great on long stretches of floors. I like how quickly the floor dried as well. The long cord is great, and did need an adapter as well - but have those on hand with this old house. I do appreciate how easy it is to clean up after, and how well the parts seem to go back together.

This is a great deal. Extra brushes included as well as sample floor cleaner solutions. Makes clean up super easy. Crazy to see all the dirt and crud it picks up. I like that it keeps clean and dirty water separate. With large areas to clean, this really cuts that time in half. I love that clean fresh feeling walking on my tiled floors. I have 2 issues with this cleaner. 1st issue is that is doesn't clean close to walls/edges or in small tight areas. You probably will need to get down and dirty in those areas. The 2nd issue I have is that it is loud and has a high pitched noise. I ignore it as the pro of this item outweighs the cons. But it may not be that easy for someone else to ignore. It is a pretty common issue with this cleaner. If it were not for the 2 issues, I would've given this 5 stars.

I have the Bissell Crosswave cordless in my northern home and this corded one in the south. The cordless model is great, but runs out power before I finish the whole house. This corded model is even better. It has fewer of the glitches I've found in the cordless model and runs as long as I need it. It also seems easier to change the brush in the corded machine. Both have tremendous suction power, as does a Bissell electric broom that I purchased first. I recommend Bissell for anyone who doesn't want to get down on their knees (as I once did) to clean all their floors.

First off, it's overpriced. I have used it twice and my biggest complaint is when the water/cleaning solution tank is getting low it goes into a high pitch noise and the cleaning solution is coming out too fast and trying to mop it up is difficult. The end result is you get streaks on your tile. I also can't get around the toilets due to the size of the machine and I notice that it doesn't edge clean because the grout of the tile isn't wet near the wall. Then you get to clean the machine. The reason I bought this was to save me some work but I may have wasted my money.

I owned one of the original units years ago and loved it except the water tank was too small and i had to keep stopping to refill. This newer model can clean my whole area with one tank so that part is excellent. The only downside is you will still need a mop to clean around the spaces too small for the head of the unit, like around the toilets, behind some furniture, etc. i haven't tried the rug cleaner yet but fully intend to do so soon. I feel the unit does a much better job of cleaning than a mop and bucket. I do my floors every week and i couldn't believe the level of dirty water!! I only have a few area rugs and really didn't want to buy a separate rug shampooer so this was the perfect solution.

So far so good. I used one at my daughters and when I returned home I had to buy one for myself. Really works well on tile and none plush rugs. Did not work on a rug with pile. Easy to use. So much better then getting done on my hands and knees. I Love It ❤️

Absolutely love this purchase. The only fault I find is to complete my entire downstairs I have to empty and refill at least 3 times. I did find that the multiple purpose brush worked better for my hardwood, the hardwood brush tends to streak it. This is very easy to maneuver, light weight, and definitely saves time by sweeping and vacuuming all at once! Would recommend to anyone who has lots of hardwood/tile.

The Bissell CrossWave Appears to be made well and assembly was very easy. The pricing was reasonable and it came with multiple brushes and cleaning fluids. We used it the first time on our floors and it was easy to use and did a good job. If you want to use it on a rug you must buy the roller for a rug because it does not come with it even though it comes with three rollers for hard surfaces.
