This will be my three floor cleaner over 12 years. My other 2 have been Hoovers. I was hoping this was better and it might be just a bit but it does not clean up dried on food. I have a spot that had dried on spaghetti sauce and it wouldn't pick it up. So like with the Hoovers, I have to use very hot water. I usually pour it right on the section and let it sit a bit before I go over it with the cleaner. I was really hoping this one would be different. I do like the idea of using it on area rugs. I just bought it so I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I will still use it, I will just have to keep very hot water on hand with it.

It doesn't work on carpets. On hard floors it leaves a mark. You can't even clean 2 rooms because it starts to drop wet bits of grime. Removing hairs that get caught in the roller is hard work. It's definitely so much work to clean that you'd be better off wiping the floor with a cloth and crawling.

Quickly knocks out my tile floors, and my carpet. So easy to use, I can quickly go over my floors every other day. I have three cats and cleanliness is important. This is the easiest cleaning machine on the market today. Thank you Bissell you must of had me in mind when you developed this machine. I bought two more crosswave's and shipped them to my sisters. They also are very pleased.

I have dogs and cats, and my home is tile with area rugs. The first time I used it, I wasn't sure it was doing anything, and then I looked at the dirty water tank, and holy cow, it was filthy. It perked my rugs right up and did a good job on my tile. with no streaks. The house is about 40 years old and there is some time that's old and has some dirt ground in, and it did not get that all out, but made a difference. I plan on having that tile professionally cleaned and the CrossWave will help me keep it clean after that. I like very much that it's user-friendly and intuitive, which made it easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning. 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm not sure how long the multi-surface roller is going to last.

I love this machine! I am so pleased with how clean my tile and grout was after using this in my kitchen. The CrossWave makes cleaning the floor so easy and quick. I am not on my hands and knees scrubbing for a couple of hours. The floor was clean, dried fast and the ease of using the machine was awesome. I would recommend this machine and would buy it again in a hearbeat!

I love my Crosswave! I use the Crossway for all my hard floors. I was not physically able to clean my hard floor surfaces well enough to get all the textured linoleum and tile surfaces in my home clean unless I was on my hands and knees. Now I can get them all clean without hiring someone to do them for me. The only downside I have is it cannot reach into the tight spaces. It would be nice if they had an attachment to get into the tighter places like around the sink and commode in the bathroom. Overall, I love my Crosswave so much I convinced my sister who had back surgery to get one for her hardwood floors and she loves it too! Get one, you won't be disappointed!

This machine works well. Great features to be able to vacuum, and clean wood floors, tiles and rugs with one machine, easy and definitely time saving. I have used it on all surfaces and am very satisfied with the results. Assembly and cleanup are very simple. I would recommend this machine.

I wanted to love this product so much! After watching the infomercial on tv I decided to go out and find one. The idea of vacuuming and cleaning in one step was amazing. I think the lure was that I could clean hardwood and carpet all with one tool and having pets that was a must. I can say the idea is awesome! But in practice I find it doesn't work as well and definitely cost way too much for it to not work. I bought the seperate carpet brush and found it didn't really work wonders. The plain brush for laminate is also kind of ineffective. Once you begin to clean, the brush head instantly gets dirty and it continues to clean the floor with this brush head so you are basically slipping around dirt. I tested it by taking a towel over my just 'clean' floor and the towel was dirty. Also a pain to clean as the vacuumed goods mix with muddy water. Gross. Like the concept just doesn't work well.

I cracked the box open immediately upon arrival. Directions were clear, and machine was easy to assemble. I commenced cleaning my linoleum kitchen floor, and proceeded to do the entire carpet (including area rug) in my living room using the multi-surface brush. I was extremely impressed with the suction power, and the amount of dirt and pet hair that the machine removed. My only disappointment was in the water left behind on the smooth surfaces, although I believe this might have been due to the significant amount of material initially collected. I will investigate this further on my next use. In the mean time, it performed well enough for me to be assured that there WILL be a next (and many) future uses.

I hate mopping floors! The CrossWave is a great machine for tiled floors. I could not believe the amount of dirt it cleaned up! Some reviewers have stated that the machine doesn't clean all the way to the edge of the floor but the front of the machine does (just like Bissell carpet cleaners). It is very easy to clean, a little gross if you have pet hair mixed in the dirty water. I am amazed at how clean the roller is after use. There is hardly any dirt on the roller, it all goes into the dirty water tank which proves to me that the machine is picking up all of the dirt instead of just spreading it around. There are a couple of spots the machine doesn't reach, such as between a pedestal bathroom sink and the wall, but nothing else reaches either. It isn't quiet, not necessarily quick on heavily trafficked, dog-slobbered floors, but works better than any type of machine I have ever tried on tiled floors! I did have a problem when I first assembled the machine and it wouldn't start - make sure the handle is completely inserted into the machine! :)
