The machine worked best on the hardwood floors. I felt that, although it worked well on the tile and vinyl floors, because of the texture in the floors it did not clean as thoroughly the first time through. I have not yet tried it out on any of our carpets but expect that it will do a good job. Overall we're happy with the results.

I used the crosswave on my cement, and wood floors. The cleaning was fantastic. I have cats too. It picked up everthing. The best part is the seperate container for the dirty mess. Just lift out dump. And hair does not get tangled in the roller. It all cleans up great. Quite too. Love It.

I have searched for a long time for something that would save me time with my floors. I have porcelain throughout my home except for the bedrooms. I used to vacuum then mop and move the furniture with each step. With this product it saves me so much time and my floors come out nice and clean every time. The ease of changing the heads makes going from the porcelain to carpet a breeze. I do recommend that the product be thoroughly cleaned as specified each time. I do it every time I use it and it keeps the product nice and new. And its easy to clean it also. Not a huge mess at all. I also purchase the hand held for my furniture. I have cats and it cleans up the cat hair effortlessly. Thank you Bissell for coming up with such a great product.

The Crosswave is the best. I like it and will be using it a lot cause I didn't realize that much had built up on my floors until I started using the crosswave. I thought my floors were decently clean caused I mopped my floors 3-4 times a week; but after using the crosswave, I was in awe cause of all the dirt that I saw that came off of my floors. It is truly amazing. Couldn't ask for anything better.

Oh my God where have you been all my life!!! I am in LOVE!!! This is the most amazing tool I have used in my life...Throw out your broom,dustpan,mop,mop bucket,vacuum,and carpet cleaner...You don't need them ever again!! Stop the Presses..get this on the front page what are you waiting for!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after rescuing a puppy. It doesn't seem to suck up much liquid. I used about half the solution tank and only sucked up about a teaspoon worth into dirty tank. I'm never sure if it actually cleans the carpet or just makes it wet. It clogs up easily as well. I have only tried it on carpet so far. I think I should've went with a regular shampooer.

I gave 4 stars based on the length of the brush, otherwise it would be 5. I have all ceramic tile and the brush isn't as wide as the tile, therefore I have to swipe each tile 3 times. HOWEVER, it cleans like crazy! I used to sweep, then steam mop, twice, then stiffer. Thus product gas saved me sooooo much time, all I do now I see crosswave and stiffer. Great, great product!

This is sad because I love the product. Note this was a first time usage. Clearly the product is unusable. This was the 3rd Bissell product I have owned, never any problems

I received my new Bissell Crosswave 1785F this morning and used it all over the house today. It is light and easy to use. It only used half of the reservoir . I absolutely love it. I could not believe the dirt that was left from my last vacuuming and mopping. The only draw back is that it will not get up close to the wall boards or in corners. I would love to have an attachment to use for the areas that it will not reach. When I was finished with it, the clean up was so easy. And it has it`s own storage tray. (Thanks Bissell)
