1>I love the idea of getting rid of my broom, dustpan, mop, bucket, std vacumn! This unit is very very lightweight (I am 90 lbs. and have a hard time with heavy tools), and so easy to tote around. 2> I have hard wood floor, tiles, and carpeting. I can easily clean all areas at the same time, with my CrossWave now. I used to breakdown my cleaning into 3 days, for different floorings I have! All my floors are sparkling clean, so amazing no word can describe! This tool is more than just general cleaning - it gives a full Deep Clean and the dirty water tank lets you see how disgusting the floors were. 3> Cleaning the unit afterwards is a BREEZE! Love it!! I actually LOVE to clean/mop my floorings now. My husband said it was just another gimmick, but when he saw my clean floors - he was blown away. He also decided to buy another unit, for cleaning our restaurant business! I sure found a WINNER! I love the Bissell CrossWave. I have a bad back. Before the CrossWave I had to sweep, mop, and change dirty water. Took me several hours and sore back. Now with the CrossWave I can finish in little over an hour with no back pain. Wish I had one a long time ago. Love it bunches.

This wet scrubber vacuum cleaner for hard floors is extraordinarily good. I just got a spectacular cleaning of the 18-year old, prefinished hardwood in our kitchen, family room and halls. Though this use is not explicitly recommended, I decided to use the Crosswave on the entire wood floor after a quick clean-up of a small area was very successful, with no water remaining in the cracks to swell the boards. The small area had a coating of flour and sugar after cookie making and expedient try of the clean-up with the Crosswave left the urethane varnish shiny as new. The Crosswave has a rubber edge in front of the wet scrubber-roller that acts like a squeegee on the pull-back pass, capturing the dirty water as it is sucked up. I couldn't see through sucked-up water in the collector cup. I used half of the recommended Bissel Multi-floor cleaner liquid in the mix with distilled water for the cleaning solution. The floor was brilliantly reflective even after the first cleaning pass. A second rinse pass with distilled water also produced opaque, sucked-up water. Clean-up of the Crosswave scrubber-roller is easy with the plastic pan they supply. I poured a puddle of distilled water up to the mark in the pan, set the Crosswave in it, tipped the handle unit backward, allowing the brush-roller to turn on, and pressed the "floor" suction turn-on button. The brush-roller then cleaned itself, sucking itself dry. After 3 cycles, the liquid coming out of the brush-roller was clear. It is easy to open up the cleaning head, remove the brush-roller to dry and give a rinse to the remainder of the head. You also have to wash out the collector cup and. The paper-based filter is sensitive to getting moldy, so drying in the sun is recommended.

As soon as this bad boy came home I went to town! I was amazed that it came with not only sample cleaning solution but FULL size bottles as well. I used it on the entry area rug first and wow! The water was black and I went for round two and the water came cleaner that time around. It takes patience to get the rugs clean, but who wants to rush cleaning anyhow? I was expecting to have to hang the rugs up to dry and to my disbelief they were dry very shortly. I love this machine :)

I purchased the Crosswave when Bissell did the advertisement on how easy it was. I purchased the first model. I am thrilled with my Crosswave. It's easy to use, clean and store. I have rescue dogs❤️ and grandsons ❤️. Between the two, we have accidents. There is no having to vacuum, then sweep, then get the mop water and mop out. This does it all!! I have purchased extra brushes and filters to keep it great working order. The cleaning solution for the Crosswave is fantastic. No streaks on my floors, and when I am finished, my home smells amazing. I feel like an ambassador for Bissell. I am always happy to have Family members and Friends give it a try. They've gone out and purchased their own. I get such positive feedback If you're thinking about purchasing the Crosswave, YES!! You won't be disappointed.

After a couple of months of researching vacuums that steam cleans and vacuums yet is good for wood floors along with other floors.. I constantly kept running across the Bissell CrossWave... I knew this was the one I needed for my floors and I was right.. my floors haven't been cleaner and my house even smells good after using my CrossWave! Thank you Bissell! This is my first Bissell and now I know won't be my last!

This machine really has powerful suction you won't believe. How convenient it could be to vacuum and clean at the same time. However, it does not clean. I have a white floor in my kitchen and repeatedly went over simple ordinary spots, like in front of my sink floor and such, and they did not come off. They easily came off by hand with a cloth... I bought a Bissell steam mop instead. It does the job very well. Not this expensive heavy machine. It simply does not clean. My new Powerfresh steam mop from Bissell cleans very well and is a fraction of the price!!

I ordered the crosswave to see if it could help to keep up on the floors. Normally it is a sweeping then a run over with a mop. Which took a lot of time as my house is all hardwood. I was shocked at how easy this was to use. Not only did it do the the job 2 jobs in one but cut my time of cleaning the floors in half. I was amazed and how dirty the water was after cleaning. This is by far the best purchase.

We use CrossWave to clean spills the baby, the dog and the cats make in the living room that have hardwood floors. The kitty litter comes out of the box or dog has an accident. The CrossWave formula takes the smell away when the animals have accidents

So far, using the the CrossWave 1785 has become my favourite chore in the house. I just cut my task time in half. Vacuuming and washing all floors and area carpets in one pass. I have used deluxe vacuum cleaners and special high quality mops (with elbow grease) for 50 years, the CrossWave does the same job and I can maintain a spotless home by using it twice a week (total two hours a week, for a 1500 square foot home including machine clean-up). The only negative is the rather high pitched motor, so I wear noise cancelling earphones and sing while I vacuum! Best of both worlds, if you consider that, yes vacuuming and cleaning is a chore, but a necessary one, nonetheless!
