The Crosswave is just okay. On hard floors, I had to run it over the floor SEVERAL times to remove stains. It does not deep clean rugs. It does not have enough suction. It does not edge clean well. It is not a complete vacuum cleaner because I still have to use my other vacuum cleaner tools for edges, stairs, corners, baseboards, extension, etc. It does save time mopping because I don't have to get a bucket of water and deal with wringing out a mop. I will still have to either pay someone to clean my rugs or buy another rug cleaner.

Noisey. Does not get in corners or along edge such as your baseboard. Rather heavy for such a small machine. Roller cleans but don't count on such a great scrub. If you vacuum and wash at same time it is gross to clean the guck. Ok for a quick clean up pass. I think the Bissell solution does a great job on all floors .. nice scent and shine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to use on my hardwood floors and area rug and yikes it is so poorly made! First off it does not do well with pet hair so I have to swifter and vacuum before I can even use this. Second the bottom on the machine traps dirt so when you clean an area rug it smudges dirt all over your rug. I gave this machine multiple chances as I thought I was using it wrong but nope after watching videos and reading Instructions I found the machine itself just sucks. When cleaning my area rug it took about an hour because I had to constantly clean the machine as I went to avoid spreading dirt. It is a pain to clean since the bottom has multiple screw holes that dirt gets trapped in. Basically it was MUCH easier to sweep, vacuum and mop my floors separately than to use this. I do not recommend and will not buy another product.

I was always looking for something to vacuum and mop my tile floors. Our whole house is tile and it is hard to clean up after two children going in and out of the house along with two dogs. There would always be dirt and mud stains. It was always a two step process of vacuuming and then mopping. Nothing made it easier until I found this. I am able to mop and vacuum at the same time. This system is great for the tile floors. I have used it to pick up messes after the kids have spilled their drinks, food, etc. I only gave it 4-stars for two reasons: 1) The Bissell CrossWave is great, but there is a noticeable gap when cleaning against walls or other surfaces hard surfaces. Another mop like a swiffer wet-jet is needed just for this gap. 2) The brush/roller combo's are great, but if you have stains that have been there for a little while, it will take some time to roll over and clean. I wish they had a scrubber brush-like roll with it to really get stuff off the tile.

Oh my the Crosswave cleans so much better than expected. Hubby was not impressed until he saw how clean the floors are and how fast they dried. Just as I had cleaned up the Crosswave a friend of his came by and he showed it to him. Little did we think he has tile floors and was wanting something like this. He now has the link to this handy tool and will get it before the weekend is over. We have two medium size dogs, and I did not want to fill the tank with dog hair on my first run with the Crosswave, so I ran the vacuum first. Then I followed the directions to fill it and operate it. I began cleaning the dining room and then the kitchen floors. I used 1 full tank of water and the floor was dry almost instantly. My floors are linoleum. I have large area rugs but did not do them as I just cleaned them with my new Bissell Proheat 2x Revolution. I had to empty the dirty water tank once and it was dirty and had hair in it even though I ran the vacuum. My floors are not totally level, and there are dips here and there. I did notice sometimes it did not want to really dry the little dips or the edges. I just went over those areas a second time changing the angle slightly and that did the trick every time. I have about 2,000 sf of linoleum. It requires 3 hours of being bent over vacuuming and mopping. I haul 2 gallon buckets of water and wring the mop a million times. I am 62. The crosswave eliminates all of that! It also saves me gallons of water. I realized I did those two rooms on 1 tank of clean water. I would have used 2 gallons of water to do the same area. What sold us was AFTER the cleaning was done. Hubby told me to do the white towel test. Put a little glass cleaner on a towel and rub the floor. No dirt at all! He did the towel test after I fell for the first microfiber floor mop. He told me it is pushing dirt around. Sure enough we did the white towel test and the floor was filthy. My floors are squeaky clean! No back breaking buckets of water, hours bent over mopping and wringing either. I love this thing, and it surpassed what I thought it could do.

If you don't have a Crosswave, your floors are filthy. I use CrossWave on Travertine floor. I live in SoCal desert area (with dusty winds & sandy soil), 3 small dogs / 2 of which are seniors who have accidents, a husband that doesn't take off his shoes after being outside and drops various foods on the floor for dogs. We spill things too; ice cream, tomato sauce, yogurt, peas, honey, etc. My Crosswave works VERY hard. CrossWave is lightweight so you don't get arm or back pain. Yet also powerful on the stone floor. I clean about 1700 sqft of floors in under an hour. It's good for fast clean-ups of just the kitchen / bathroom or whole house. Recently, we had interior construction work done and the Crosswave was my savior for floor clean-up after workers left (everyday). I use my Crosswave a lot. My first one lasted 2.5 years; without any part replacements. The newer CrossWave model I have now is sturdier and I expect it will last longer. My suggestion is to simply replace the brush roller when it starts looking tired.

My friends keep asking me to stop talking about it but I can't! I use it every day! I tell everyone I come in contact about it. My favorite favorite product. So easy to use, cleane, store. Cleans my floors like nothing I've ever seen. I have a German Shepherd and it's saved my sanity when it comes to cleaning up after him! Thank you thank you thank you for such an amazing product

I use this thing 3 times a week. Its easy to use, cleans great with the solution or with just plain hot water. Washes and dries quickly. A little time to clean up but i feel like that forces you to maintain the equiptment and proper cleaning and maintenance keeps it running tip top longer. Highly recommend this product.

When my husband initially brought this product home, I thought to myself "great, another gimmicky thing we will never use". But I couldn't have been more wrong. I literally use it EVERY day! The clincher was when I saw how much dog hair (YUCK) and dirt it picked up. It really does a great job both vacuuming and mopping on our tile and hardwood. Then I thought "well surely it will do a horrible job on the area rug". WRONG!! It vacuums the rug well and gives it a nice refreshed look (and smell.... did I mention we have a dog :) This is not a deep cleaner for carpets, it is purely meant to refresh them. Sooooo happy with this purchase. Well worth the price!

I always washed my floors on my hands and knees, but I'm old and scrubbing the floors was just too hard. I tried the CrossWave and was amazed. It cleaned better and faster. I have dogs and cats, it gets up their hair and dirt and it smells good. I liked it so much I got another one for my upstairs, one for my daughter and my sister got one.
