This machine cleans surface dust and dirt/debris very well. If there is dried stuck on dirt or food the machine will sometimes scrub it if I go over it several times. Most times the spot remains & I take my finger and scrub it loose. I don't like having to do that! I wish there was a scrubber button option. I try turning on the carpet mode and sometimes it helps remove the dried on dirt or food. Or make a heavy duty scrubber roller and tell customers to not use it on their wood floors. (just on tile) Features to improve the Crosswave: 1) heated water option, 2) disinfectant solution option or tell customers its okay to use a disinfectant product according to directions on the container. 3) Improve the edge cleaning. The edges next to the baseboard do not get clean. 4) Design a designated place on the machine or tray to store & air dry the dirty water container, filter, & insert. I don't like having to dry them separately to take up space in a different area. I have to gather the parts before I can use the machine.

The bissell wave arrived very timely after ordering. It was so easy to put together. Of course, I had to try it out and it did an excellent job on my hardwood floors,tile and vinyl as well. It cut my work in half. The vacuum and mop is awesome. Very happy with my purchase.

Purchased new home, with ALL tile floors upgrade. Had a Hoover all terrain, but it was not cleaning floor, nor was it working properly due to clogged areas in system that I could not clean. After 6 months, I purchased a Bissell Crosswave. My floors have never been this clean, even brand new. It is lightweight, and easy to maneuver. I use weekly, or more often. I rinse all the parts, individually. Usually can clean 1800 square feet with only 2 fills.

Honestly, my hubby is the one who has used it - I have been having some rougher days than usual. When I asked him if he wanted us to keep it I got a hearty YES! When I came out of the bedroom he had pulled everything out of the kitchen/dining area and off the floor of the pantry and cleaned it thoroughly with the 1785A. He was impressed with the way it handled, got up some stubborn spots, and left the floor quick to dry. He worked in disaster cleanup and carpet cleaning a few years in his late 20's, so he has seen good and bad cleaning when it comes to floors and carpets. He even went over the textured mat under our dog's food and water bowls - it it looked brand new! Our parrot is the messiest family member, and her cage sits on a stone hearth where a pot belly stove used to sit. She likes to hang her tail over the edge of the cage when she is playing on top...well, she doesn't want to dirty her own house! We are going to get the brush roll and dedicate that for cleaning in that one area. It surely beats trying to do it by hand at our ages! We haven't done a thorough test on the laminate floors yet, but the small area he did do looked great. My main concern is that my hubby has very long hair and the further from the kitchen he cleans the more likely it will require a seam ripper to clean the hair out of the brush roll. We will see, but even that wouldn't be too difficult. We are both very happy with our Crosswave 'green beast', and the cleaning solutions don't trigger my allergies like Bissell's older carpet cleaning solution did! I hope to feel better soon because I want to try it out for myself. I forgot to mention that we live in Arizona and there is a lot of sand - everywhere. Desert life is gritty. We don't take our shoes off when we come into the house and neither does our chiweenie dog ;). I am really looking forward to less accumulation of sand and dust on the floor.

DISAPPOINTED! This is nearly a 300$ purchase and it 100% does not hold its standards: I have beveled tile flooring and it just didn't get the job done. We had to use a scrub sponge for stuck on food and the wet swiffer sweeper after and let me tell you there was plenty of dirt left over. For anyone wondering my floors were NOT FILTHY, just average weekly dust and dirt. The carpet setting was even worse I didn't notice a difference really but I was hoping it at least eliminated the dust. I would say if you have hard wood flooring this may work better but be aware your floors are not clean. I challenge you to try the swiffer wet mop and see for yourself like I did! I wanted this to work really badly to safe time! But I will stick to my 24.99 Swiffer it hasn't let me down yet! Even gets the stuck on stuff with a few pushes! BTW refills for the mop are not as expensive as the fancy soap the Bissell requires!

This vacuum/mop is amazing. It does everything in one step. I have RA so sweeping mopping and vacuuming are not easy tasks for me so my sister-n-law told me to get one of these. What a life saver, I absolutely love this thing. It works beautifully and is super easy to maneuver.

This thing is awesome. I didn't know how dirty my floors were. I had just mopped my floors before mine arrived. And I swear you couldn't tell. The stuff this thing picks up is invisible to the naked eye. Im so glad my floors are squeakie clean now. It's so easy to use that my man now helps with floors....BONUS.

I can only say I wish I would've ordered it sooner! I recently had a couple vertebrae fused and I'm supposed to take it easy which is hard to do with 20+ cats in the house and a husband who doesn't help out with housecleaning. I work full-time and have a two-story house to maintain. I am always trying to find time in my schedule to get things done and this machine has helped me greatly. I simply love it and I don't say that lightly. I can be very critical when things don't work, which happens a lot, but not here. This machine is the best ever. It vacuums up kitty litter, cat food, and it doesn't shoot it back if you like the majority of the vacuums do today. It has been such a timesaver and gets my house even cleaner than before. I love it so much I pull it out during the week on a regular basis just to clean up because it's so easy. And when those cat hairballs come up, the Crosswave just takes care of them whether hard floor or area rug And when I get new kittens to foster that aren't quite litter trained out comes the Crosswave. I simply love this machine and cannot do without. If you're even just thinking a little bit about it, do it. Purchase this machine and you will be so glad you did. I've seen reviews where it's loud and yes it is a bit loud but it is a huge timesaver and really gets your home clean! I have always said that vacuums must be invented by men because they're just so many things wrong with them but you can tell a woman had input on this one, if not complete input. My only wish is a retractable cord. Everyone loves the long cords but I get tired of tripping over them. In summary go buy this now and you will be so happy. I promise that!

As a fifty plus year fan of Rainbow vacuums, discovering the Bissell CrossWave All-in-one was a dream come true. The Bissell is much lighter and easier to use as a floor washer than the Rainbow. Of course, I'll keep my Rainbow for the big tough jobs.

The Crosswave may be good for small areas, but as far as larger floors and rugs - it's not so great. The crosswave does not suck up the same amount of water it dispenses. It leaves streaks on the floor. I end up having to use a Swiffer to reclean and dry the floor. The Swiffer pad is dirty even after using the crosswave. Suction is not good on carpets.. Clean up is disgusting.. Having completely clean tanks, rollers, filters and touch dirty & wet parts every single time is time consuming and more work than it's worth! It also runs very loud and sounds like it's going to break everytime the handle is pulled back. I really wanted to love my Crosssave...I just wish I kept the box so I could return it. Thumbs down, Bissell.
