I was a little skeptical when I purchased this product but found it to be lightweight, easy to use and great at cleaning my floors, including my area rugs. Amazed that I didn't even have to vacuum first! Looking at the directions for cleaning the machine after use I thought it would be a hassle to do each time. I couldn't have been more wrong! I have never found an appliance so well made and easy to clean. Love this product and as long as the quality doesn't change, would purchase again and definitely recommend to friends and family.

This is a great product. Its ready to use in minutes a d cleans like a dream. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats so pet hair is a real problem. With the CrossWave its does it all at once. When i empty the dirty it is disgusting and smelly but that is what was on my floor. Would recommend to anyone. The only downfall is that it doesnt get all the way to the wall but that can be different ne easily.

PROS: The best feature is just how CLEAN it gets everything! Its AMAZING how much dirt it picks up out of the rugs AND on the bare floors. Im always in disbelief when i go to dump it after using it in a smal area on what i thought was a mostly clean floor. Its SUPER lightweight on bare floors but its a little heavy on our thin rug unless you go WITH the grain of the rug fibers. VERY EASY to clean and love the cleaning/drying tray and how it holds water for the vacuum to sort of “self clean” itself. It even reaches further up under the edges of our furniture than i expected. CONS: Pricey (but WELL worth the money!), its not cordless, can be harder to push on certain thicker rugs/carpet), if you have pets, you may want to pay the difference and get the Pet model. I believe it can handle longer pet hairs and also may have a bigger dirty water tank bc i have 2 cats and 1 Austrailian Shepherd with SUPER long hair and i vacuumed ONE of my 8x10 rugs and had to dump it twice bc of the HUGE CLUMPS of doghair!

This product is great when it works! I have animals and it great to be able to sweep up hair and mop at the same time along with picking up with cat litter. The problems I have ran into is that I clogs, and just after a year when I plug it in it now trips my GFI's and refuses to work! Bissell needs to make a product that lasts longer then that for the price that this costs or at least offer something in return then sorry about your luck, it must be something in your house. Well I definitely know that is not the case seeing as my husband has done maintenance/carpentry at our zoo for over 26 years and knows what he is doing and we are talking a Nationally known zoo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really really wanted to love this vacuum. It sucked well and seemed fun, initially. A month later I realized just how much work it was going to be to keep using it. I've had it now since 2020. The last cleaning took an hour. To be clear I was cleaning the vacuum, not the carpet. Due to the design and the swivel area, hair and funk and lord knows what else gets stuck in this elbow. I made the error of not checking the elbow before vacuuming our master bedroom last week. WHOA the smell was awful. The stench was in every room and took opening all the windows and putting all 3 air purifiers on high to get the odor to dissipate after an hour. After thoroughly cleaning every part of the vacuum and finally finding something to push out the clump from the elbow I was able to vacuum again. Well, that's until it started making noises like it was gasping for air. I'm now looking for a new vacuum. Such a bummer.

So, I asked my mom to buy this for me as a house warming gift. Thought it was going to be absolutely amazing! Read all the reviews and watched video's in it. EVERYTHING! So, when i went to go use it for the first time I made sure to read all directions and did everything by the book to make sure I got the best clean possible and for it to last. Well, nay nay. Water started coming through the air filter. So we immediately exchanged for a new one. Now Ive only used the new one 3 times. Hardly. For some reason it has issues sucking up the water into the tank and ends up leaving it all over the floor. Yes, it cleans great but there is so many difficulties with the ones ive had that it no longer is a good purchase. So, ill be returning this one too or giving to a friend.

I have a German Shepard. Needless to say, hair, big footprints, dirt and water dribble is my life. I'm 65 yrs old with a bad back so my wood floor was always depressing. Now I can do it all much faster with no back pain. I just sweep a small area (3x3) then go over it in mop mode then move to next area and so on. I can do my kitchen, eating space, large foyer and bathroom with only two two tank fills. My floor never looked better. Get one - you won't regret it.

This hard floor cleaner is awesome! I have back issues, so anything to make cleaning my floors easier is a must have. No more pulling out the vacuum or broom before mopping! This appliance vacuums up dirt, pet hair and debris before it gets wet, keeping it from getting moved around with the water. It cleans my hardwood floors beautifully, with no streaks. The tray keeps any water from sitting on your floor, and makes cleaning the brush roll easy. It also has a holder for an extra brush roll, or you can remove the roll and air dry it in the holder. The long cord lets me clean my living room, dining room and kitchen without stopping to move the plug, and the dirty water reservoir is easy to dump and clean, while leaving your clean water to be used again. I can't recommend this product enough! I gave my steam mop to my Mom, and I use the CrossWave for everything from spills to deep cleaning. I'm so glad I bought this, it saves my back while keeping my floors clean in half the time!

I purchased this for my wife as a Christmas present, and I was getting frustrated she wasn't using it. I understand why.... When you have to bend down and pick up pieces of popcorn because it won't pick it up, that's extremely frustrating. It does NOT pick up dog hair, it just blows it around. And FORGET THE 2-1. All it does is create dirty water and then spread it all over your floor. No matter how much you clean it. Save your money and just do it the old fashion way. Broom and mop. Wish I could get my money back!

I've used the Crosswave for nearly a month now and I gotta tell you, I'm not NEARLY as impressed as the infomercial would lead us to believe. On a rug, it SEEMS to do a good job. On a hardwood floor, however, the Crosswave OBVIOUSLY could not clean on the first, second or even third pass. It was obvious that a piece of schmutz was left behind because I had to reach down and pick it up. My Oreck did a better job and was designed for close-cropped carpet only. So opinion: eh.
