I REALLY wanted to like this machine. I was super excited to get it and try it on my kitchen tile. My flooring is a neutral color so shows when it's dirty pretty easy. With this machine you have to use it while your floor is still wet with mess. Any stain or bits of stuff that have dried already do not pick up. I tried and tried with this machine specifically on what but that was dirty and it wouldn't budge- in the end I took a paper towel to it and it picked right up. I also find that it takes longer to dry than expected and leaves streaks all over my house. The tank does get black so I know it's cleaning something I just thought for this price it would do a MUCH better job. It does not get corners, the brush stops spinning if you raise the handle too high (which sucks since I'm tall) and it gets clogged entirely too easy. I like the idea of this but the execution here falls way below standard. Don't waste your money.

I received my new Bissell Crosswave 1785F this morning and used it all over the house today. It is light and easy to use. It only used half of the reservoir . I absolutely love it. I could not believe the dirt that was left from my last vacuuming and mopping. The only draw back is that it will not get up close to the wall boards or in corners. I would love to have an attachment to use for the areas that it will not reach. When I was finished with it, the clean up was so easy. And it has it`s own storage tray. (Thanks Bissell)

I have hardwood and ceramic tile floors. The crosswave works extremely well. I've only used it twice and both times it vacuumed and washed my floors leaving no streaks at all. I had a different Bissell floor washer but it pretty much wore out over the years. It left the floor almost totally dry but the suction was so great it was hard to move. The crosswave is a lot lighter and easier to use. I don't know how it dries the floor so well without sticking to the floor like the old one but it does and that is wonderful. I just love love love the crosswave!!

I have owned the Cross Wave for over a month. I have used this product to clean my entire 2 story 5 bedroom home. The first time I used this machine; I was astonished as to the amount of dirt and debris it can clean up , both by just vacuuming. and scrubbing.. I have tile, carpet, area rugs, and linoleum that looks like rough tile which has many earth tone colors with grooves in them. We live 15 miles up on mountain on the river. with lots of mud, clay, and pine needles which are constantly being tracked into the house by teens, a husband who mostly wears military boots, and a dog who runs all through the forest, and 4 indoor cats. The vacuum is very strong and sucks up every bit of it, even all of the fine animal hair. It cleans area rugs and small areas on the carpet all throughout the house. Best yet. the grooves in the linoleum are totally clean, and the floor is once again shiny, and the colors are brighter. I am 65, and disabled. with severe rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and a knee replacement . I can no longer get on my hands and knees to hand scrub the floor. I have tried a few steam mops, but they could never completely clean the floor. I have also owned other brand scrubbers. They were difficult to change and empty the water tanks and heavy to carry upstairs Not even two years after I purchased each one, the motor burned out on them. The Cross Wave is light enough to carry upstairs, swivels for ease of cleaning, and switching the rollers , filling the solution tank, emptying the dirty water collection tank, and cleaning all components was a breeze for me. The Cross Wave is rather expensive, but is worth every penny. I even used it to scrub the bricks around our wood stove. It also did a great job on them. The only thing I wish this machine could do better, is to clean and scrub all of the way to the edge of the floor. I highly recommend the Cross Wave to anyone who wants to have the cleanest floors possible with the least amount of effort.

It is lightweight. Easy to use. Easy instructions. Cleans and vacuums fantastic. Floor is much brighter using the Bissell over mopping. No mess to hands, easy clean-up for being a Senior Citizen. I recommend this product to everyone. Cleans throw rugs with a breeze.

I've had this for a few weeks. I've tried it on throw rugs, ceramic tile and oak hardwood floors. I will use it every week on my tile (bath rooms and laundry room) because it saves me time and I see evidence of how it performs in the dirty water canister. I will probably only use it monthly on my hardwood because I don't want to wet my hardwood floors every time I vacuum them. The advice from my floor finisher was basically not to leave water standing on the floors and not to use chemicals; therefore, I may only use water on the hardwood. I put a strainer over my drain before I pour the dirty water down the sink and I'm amazed at the dirt, hair, dust that the Crosswave picks up. The only issue I have is that it is too wide to go between the side of my toilet and the outside wall of the house. I demonstrated it for my niece today and she was impressed enough to want one for herself.

I used my Crosswave for the first time yesterday. Sometimes liquid (warm water and I hope cleaner?) came out on one side but not the whole bottom cleaner's surface. I pushed the trigger on handle going forward and back...then released the trigger and went forward and back on same spot to dry. Also, I found it took longer to clean the whole machine with all the different parts, after use, then it did to vac and wash my big dining room floor?? And I smelled NO refreshing clean scent after cleaning either. What am I doing wrong? Second question, why is the Multi Cleaner unavailable for purchase now? I don't have hardwood floors, only tile and carpeting (I have your Bissell carpet shampooer, so don't use the Crosswave on my carpeting)....but I have 4 rooms of tile floors. When will the Multi Cleaner be back in stock?

Thanks for engineering such a quality, time-saving product. Cleans my tile and, surprisingly grout, cleaner than it has been in years. The Crosswave is a brilliant idea, but needs a few tweaks that will surely will be addressed with the next generation: 1. The machine does not pick up or clean edges next to walls and cabinets effectively. I have to turn the machine to 90 degrees from the wall and it still does clean all the way to the edges, but it is closer. 2. The cord is wrongly positioned awkwardly in the center of the back of the machine. The cord should be placed to one side out of the way in order to fill the clean water tank without having to unhook. 3. It does not lie down completely to get next the back wall under furniture. I realize that it's tank will not allow for some really deep furniture access, but it would help with more shallow-depth furniture if it would lie down all the way to get to the wall. Numbers 2 and 3 I consider minor, but number 1 should be addressed and fixed with the next version of the Crosswave. I love it-Janet

It worked good the first few times. But after a while it's starting to stink up the whole house like dirty water. Using The cleaning methods that the user manual gave. Even just a little spray it would leave Dirty puddles behind. Guess not the type of product that is worth the money you paid for. I just switch back to regular sweeping and mopping because it's easier to clean and do not have a house smelling like dirty water

I got this all-in-one because most of my house floors are hardwood. This is the best cleaner. I used it 9 times before giving my opinion. It's easy to use and take apart to clean, every thing snaps right in place. My hardwood floors look fabulous. I really love this machine.
