[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to use on my hardwood floors and area rug and yikes it is so poorly made! First off it does not do well with pet hair so I have to swifter and vacuum before I can even use this. Second the bottom on the machine traps dirt so when you clean an area rug it smudges dirt all over your rug. I gave this machine multiple chances as I thought I was using it wrong but nope after watching videos and reading Instructions I found the machine itself just sucks. When cleaning my area rug it took about an hour because I had to constantly clean the machine as I went to avoid spreading dirt. It is a pain to clean since the bottom has multiple screw holes that dirt gets trapped in. Basically it was MUCH easier to sweep, vacuum and mop my floors separately than to use this. I do not recommend and will not buy another product.

I love my crossway it is phenomenal ! Easy to clean up my whole house is so much easier to keep clean with kids and messes this has been a life saver I mean come on vac while you mop no need to sweep the whole house and then get that old mop bucket out lol my only con is you can't use other cleaners in the tank it leaves soap marks but really there clearners not that high it was just a lesson learned

My least favorite task is mopping (the whole process is annoying to me). This machine has made the task easy and fun. So much easier filing up the tank of this machine then getting the mop and bucket out plus you don't need to vacuum beforehand. It's a breeze cleaning the whole house. My hardwood floors now have a shine too. It's also very easy to keep all the parts clean.

It worked good the first few times. But after a while it's starting to stink up the whole house like dirty water. Using The cleaning methods that the user manual gave. Even just a little spray it would leave Dirty puddles behind. Guess not the type of product that is worth the money you paid for. I just switch back to regular sweeping and mopping because it's easier to clean and do not have a house smelling like dirty water

I bought the product based on its great marketing. Very disappointed and unsatisfied! Not efficient and extremely noisy. Bought it from Canadian Tire and not certain I can return it... Very expensive with limited results on both hard wood floors and carpets. Unfortunate as I had good experiences with other Bissell products.

Having 4 little fur babies in the house, keeping my laminate floors clean is a daily struggle. I'd have to first sweep the floors then get out the bucket and mop...which wasn't very sanitary and was hard on my back. I bought my Bissell Crosswave as a Christmas gift for myself after seeing it advertised on TV. Well, let me tell you...I absolutely LOVE it!!! I use it almost everyday! Not only does it vacuum and clean my floors beautifully, it's very light weight, swivels and dries my floors in minutes! I never thought I'd say this, but I actually enjoy cleaning my floors now! (It doesn't take a toll on my back anymore!) And it's also more sanitary than traditional mopping because you're not reusing the dirty bucket water!!! Oh, and I almost forgot one of the best features.... it also cleans my large area rugs beautifully by just switching to the rug button! I have never given reviews on any products before, but I just HAD to with this product because it is THAT good!!!! The only complaint I have is, WHERE HAS IT BEEN ALL MY LIFE???!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend the Bissell Crosswave and truly believe it is one of the best inventions out there!!! If you're on the fence whether or not to buy it, BUY IT!!! I promise you will not regret it!

This vacuum is awesome. All the floors are spotless. Looks amazing abs takes very little time. Use the Bissell Crosswave Products and rollers. Anyone who says it doesn't work doesn't know how to use it or tried to be cheap and not use the Bissel Products as required. Buy it you won't regret it.

Ok, let me start by saying that I don't write many reviews, and only take the time to do it if a product is really exceptional, and the Bissell Crosswave truly is! It is a wonderful solution to my biggest housecleaning woe- how to keep my floors clean in a household with 2 dogs, two cats, three horses, two kids, and a husband, all of whom seem to be in some sort of competition to leave the most traces of themselves on my floors everyday. My dream house sits on about 14 acres, most of which is irrigated horse pasture, so there is ALWAYS mud available outside for my family's use in creating beautiful dirt murals on a 2,000 sq ft canvas of laminate flooring. My flooring guy is a friend who talked me out of hardwood and into the laminate, which is amazingly durable, but terrible at hiding muddy shoe and paw prints. When I saw the Bissell Crosswave on a Sunday morning infomercial, I thought the design seemed genious and prayed it worked as well as advertised. Guess what? It does!!! It is fabulous- cleans the floors beautifully with no streaking, and usually in one pass. I have a bunch of large and small area rugs, and was very sceptical about cleaning them with my wonderous new machine, but it works just as well on them! In fact, I was looking to replace a large throw rug because it had become so stained I thought it was beyond redemption, but the Crosswave did such an amazing job that it looks brand new! Some reviewers complained about the machine being difficult to cleanup after use, which really surprises me. I'll admit- the dirty sludge water I dump in the toilet after using the Crosswave is absolutely disgusting, but it is also very satisfying to see the yuck that was cleaned off the floor so easily. It takes less than 5 minutes to clean up, and that's only because I'm a bit OCD about doing jobs like that, and only put the machine away when it is as clean and shiney as brand new. After reading the reviews and realizing you need to let the filter and brush roll air dry overnight, I simply bought an extra of each for $20 total, and now just pop in the spare parts and wipe the machine dry with a paper towel so it is ready to go at any moment despite the drying time. No problem!! Do yourself a big favor and try this excellent machine!

This product is amazingly easy, yet provides a deep clean for ally floor types. Changing from hard wood to tile or area rugs is simple and quick. And the machine itself is a breeze to clean and empty. I can do my entire hone in about an hour and half including switching heads and solution. GREAT product !!!

I only used it on some bad spots on my carpet. It did a great job! Then I tried it on the mats from my car. My mistake was that I didn't vacuum the mats first. The Bissell got clogged. My bad. But the mats looked better anyway. It was a little hard to use on the car mats. They kept moving.
