I use this only on hardwood and thin area rugs, as instructed. When I vacuum with the Crosswave I need to go over the same area multiple times to get an acceptable amount of dirt and dust off the floor. But I don't seem to be able to get all of it. I tried moping and vacuuming up loose dirt at once, which I thought this was designed for. It just moved the dirt around into wet grey streaks. If I use the mop function after vacuuming or sweeping, the same thing happens. You're better off with a regular vacuum and mop separately.

I am rarely drawn in by product marketing specials and tv infomercials, however I was intrigued by the Crosswave's performance on tv. I commented everytime the tv ad came on and finally my family took the hint and ordered me one for Christmas. This is one time that a product actually delivers! I am impressed with the ease of use and clean up of the machine and the remarkably clean floors!

I bought this item to try to gain some independence after a stroke which affected my left side. In that aspect I give it a 5. Easy to use. My complaint: extremely noisy and loud. Also does nothing for along the wall. Leaves dirt near surfaces. It would be nice to have edge cleaner on both sides. Even though I have gained my independence I am hesitant to use it because of noise.

I was wondering why this was in the garage - after I used it I know why - when we first got thing was amazing, after several uses the craftmanship came out - went from not spraying to a constant flow with out pressing trigger - leaves streaks and residue - probably due to fact to much solution is coming out - for the price and longetivity not worth the $$$

DISAPPOINTED! This is nearly a 300$ purchase and it 100% does not hold its standards: I have beveled tile flooring and it just didn't get the job done. We had to use a scrub sponge for stuck on food and the wet swiffer sweeper after and let me tell you there was plenty of dirt left over. For anyone wondering my floors were NOT FILTHY, just average weekly dust and dirt. The carpet setting was even worse I didn't notice a difference really but I was hoping it at least eliminated the dust. I would say if you have hard wood flooring this may work better but be aware your floors are not clean. I challenge you to try the swiffer wet mop and see for yourself like I did! I wanted this to work really badly to safe time! But I will stick to my 24.99 Swiffer it hasn't let me down yet! Even gets the stuck on stuff with a few pushes! BTW refills for the mop are not as expensive as the fancy soap the Bissell requires!

This vacuum is awesome. All the floors are spotless. Looks amazing abs takes very little time. Use the Bissell Crosswave Products and rollers. Anyone who says it doesn't work doesn't know how to use it or tried to be cheap and not use the Bissel Products as required. Buy it you won't regret it.

My friends keep asking me to stop talking about it but I can't! I use it every day! I tell everyone I come in contact about it. My favorite favorite product. So easy to use, cleane, store. Cleans my floors like nothing I've ever seen. I have a German Shepherd and it's saved my sanity when it comes to cleaning up after him! Thank you thank you thank you for such an amazing product

I love it and bought another one to keep in the basement. It's lightweight and easy to handle. The cleaning power is amazing and the low profile in the front fits under the kitchen cupboards too. Some you cannot get it underneath because they are too high. .I have had several Hoover Floormates that did not last very long because the motors burned up so I'm hoping these outlast those.

I LOVE the Bissell Crosswave! I have tried everything to clean my hardwood and vinyl floors and nothing has gotten them as clean as the Crosswave. My floors finally feel wonderful when I'm in my bare feet. I was skeptical at first how well it would clean. After I cleaned my kitchen floor I sprayed some vinegar water on an area that I just cleaned and the towel was clean. That has never happened before! It's actually a pleasure to clean my floors now and they do dry quickly. I have told everyone I know how wonderful the Crosswave is. It's worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested this cleaning appliance on my area rug and kitchen. I have two young kids and a cat so it was put to the test. I got lots of dirty water from both the rug and kitchen. The rug seems refreshed but I'm not sure if it's as thorough as a real carpet cleaner. I'll have to test other attachments and my technique but either way it seems much cleaner. The hardwood floors on the kitchen are what really sold me. We had hardened yogurt, cracker crumbs, shredded carrots, and other particles from the afternoon. The mop was able to get most of the particles. it struggled with some larger oat pieces and some hardened thick spots on the floor. I was able to scrub those manually for a second and then the mop picked those up. It was so nice to be able to just use one machine. I'm always sweeping and then mopping. As working mom, that's too much! This is going to be a game changer for me!
