[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product leaves dirty water all over my floor even after cleaning it. I bought it because i have 4 children and a dog i need cleaning to be quick and efficient. I am very dissatisfied and wouldn't recommend as a all in one cleaner. As a hard surface vacuum it works well but as for moping i would choose something different.

Very impressed with the way it cleaned my kitchen tile and area rugs that I have in most rooms. Easy to use and clean. If there is one downside, I would say it is the multi use roller, which after one use seemed to show some wear with some unraveling. Having said that, it was a no brainer for me to keep this product as opposed to returning. I really like that the Crosswave has a clean water tank and a dirty water tank. Does a nice job and still deserves a 5 star rating despite some roller wear after one use. Depending on how many uses I get out of a roller I could see dropping the rating to 4 if they don't hold up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is simply the best. I think these people that rated it poorly had some user error. I've owned 3 now. All work wonderfully. I've never owned the cordless. Yes. You have to clean it. Yes. It will clog - just like anything. Easiest clean ever. Great pick up. Makes mopping a breeze. I use it as a dry vacuum. I just change the roller used. I only use it on low rugs or low carpet. I LoVe this thing. Bought one for everyone in the family. Best mop ever. And super easy to use and clean.

Love, love, love it!! Finally there's a 2 in 1 product that works! The Crosswave is lightweight and easy to use. I was hesitant to purchase the Crosswave. I'm a skeptic when it comes down to these types of purchases, as most products rarely perform as advertised. Once my Crosswave arrived, I decided to put it to the test. I cleaned my kitchen floor first with a popular "spray & mop" product. The cleaning pad was somewhat soiled. Then I used the Crosswave on the kitchen floor right after. I was astounded at how much more dirt & grim the Crosswave picked up. Which was evidenced by the brown dirty water I dumped from the holding tank when I was through! My husband even commented on how much brighter and shinier the floor looked. He never notices! Thank you Bissell for a product that performs and makes my life easier.

It cleans my hard floors and rugs very nicely, spots come up even if they are older ones and the floor drys quickly. However, today after using it on my hard flooring for 30 minutes I noticed a burning smell. I continued for another 10 minutes to finish the job and when I was cleaning the machine up I could tell the power head was hot where the motor is and this was the source of the smell. Also, once I noticed the brush wasn't spinning but as soon as I noticed it, it started up again. What does this mean? It's only three months old. I hope someone can help. Thanks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have vinyl flooring. This does not work for my needs and instead of making cleaning easier, it's just more hassle. I have a difficult cleaning need and this doesn't even cut it. My dog licks the floor, leaving saliva that when wet causes a slipping hazard. I've had to get down and scrub with a magic eraser to get the floor clean. I tried my old floor mate but the brushes only work where they make contact with the floor. Thought that the brush roll on this had better coverage. It works in theory, just not on my floors. It leaves a grimy mess with tracks from the front rubber lip of the machine. It takes several slow passes to get light dirt up. The drying feature works okay, just it's overshadowed by how poor the brush works. It is a waste of time and not convenient. I'm going back to the mop and the magic eraser.

Oh Crosswave, how do I love thee? I bought this as my own birthday present last year, and it was my favorite piece of equipment until I broke it last week. (I'm epileptic and fell on it during a seizure, it wasn't made badly it was me) We have rescue animals and there are frequent potty incidents. It cleans them like a champ with no lingering pee smell. I have sticky dirty kids, too. Anything they've tracked in thus far has come up even if it takes 2-3 passes sometimes. It heats fast and is easy to dumb and clean the machine after use. I have had other carpet cleaners and none of them were as easy to use and and quicky to work as the crosswave. I hate it that I have to wait months until my next birthday to buy myself another one! Maybe I'll get the pet one next time!

My previous hard floor cleaner was a Floormate, while it was good it has flaws that are simply unacceptable. The Bissell Crosswave is head and shoulders above the competition. It's easy to use, lightweight maneuverable and does a fantastic job cleaning the floors in just one step. No need to vacuum first, this floor cleaner picks it all up and leaves your floors their cleanest. When finished with the floors this unit cleans up so easily I can't believe the difference between the Floormate and the Crosswave. The Crosswave and it's superior design are so much easier to clean. I'm looking forward to using this for many years to come. Don't hesitate to buy this product, it's a winner!

I love Love Love this new Bissell Cross Wave . I am 73 years old, and keeping my floors clean is a real chore for me. With the Cross Wave, I can do this in one half the time and effort. I have two greatgrandsons who visit frequently, the are 2 years old, so you can imagine what my floors are like when they leave. I can easily vacuum and clean all the floors, tile and area rugs, in no time. years ago I had a product made by GE that was a lot like this one, as I had 8 children, I wore it out years ago, and was never able to find anything quite like it. The cross wave is it! Thank you Bissell!

with light use on wood floors only (after about 6 months), the brush no longer spins. Bissel has a video that shows removing a string (or rubber band) as an obstruction... How can a 4" string be an obstruction? Unit is cleaned after every use and has no wear (probably because the brush doesn't roll), but I have no idea how long ago the brush stopped working. Piece of garbage.
