I purchased this after watching the infomercials on several occasions. The reality is the machine does NOT effectively mop without clogging. Pet hair and water do not mix as the vacuum continually clogs, making a mess after every attempt to mop. We even tried thoroughly vacuuming the home before using the mop feature but experienced the same problem. We now use it as a dry (expensive) vacuum only m, however, the cylinder still easily clogs and must be vigilantly checked. This machine was not worth the money spent.

Love, love, love this machine! Greatest Christmas gift ever (I have been asking for one all year)! After years of sweeping and steam mopping and having the thought that my floors were clean were shattered on Christmas day when I received my machine from my hubby. I had to try it out and my floors were cleaned the day before with my steam mop. After using my new Crosswave, I realized my floors were FAR from clean. The water was nasty, nasty, nasty! This machine does a fantastic job and is easy to set-up and clean after use.

I have all hard floors and 5 big dogs that shed and track in dirt. It was taking me several steps to really clean the floors so it was rarely completely clean until I got the Cross Wave. It's lightweight, easy to assemble and disassemble to empty and clean it. The only downside is that it doesn't clean up to the walls. It leaves about an inch untouched but with the time it saves and thoroughness of cleaning, I can adapt.

Great machine! Have been eyeing this floor cleaner for a while. Finally bought it and sure glad that I did. Very easy to operate, light, cleans very well. Don' have to prevac the tile floors ahead of time. Saves this step and less time in cleaning the house.

This is a great machine. I love that it all comes apart for cleaning. I could not believe how dirty my water was in the container after I was done! Another great feature that the water is picked up and not left on the floors. I have to say your cleaner solution is not very good. Used my own after the first scrubbing and am going to go to vinegar and water. I love the swivel feature and the machine is sturdy. Like the directions on the pieces for putting it back together after cleaning and drying the parts. My tile floor is pitted and not smooth but as I use it every time, more of the dirt is coming up from those areas. Easy to maneuver.

How easy it is to use, no work at all. I'm 75 years old, my husband bought this for me to make my life easier, and it does, it's really a time saver, and a back saver. The only problem I have with it is, it doesn't get in tight places, like between the toilet and tub, that I have to use a regular mop. Small sacrifice for making my life easier.

Love the product :). When I wanted a deep cleaning for my hard floors, I used my Bissell lift off carpet cleaners . Now I can reserve that for the carpet. The Crosswave is so convenient, a vaccum cleaner to pick up dirt and a marvelous clean wash in one product, "can not get any better". Assembly was easy and very light weight. Less effort on cleaning and the product cleans so extremely well. Great for carpet, too. I highly recommend it.

My husband has a hardwood flooring business so I am extra aware of cleaners for the floor. My previous 2-step process was getting old and I was finding that even with regular washing of the pad, I could wipe the floor with a paper towel afterwards and it was still dirty! Received this 2 days ago, used it last night on my area rugs and I was instantly sold. I figured even if I could just use it to clean the rugs, which previously couldn't be cleaned, it'd be worth it. Made them look fresh and I was disgusted at the water! This morning I did the big test and did the sheet vinyl in our gameroom and hardwood floors on the main level...amazing. As mentioned in previous reviews, to get along baseboards, you have to go head on to clean right up against it. But I did the paper towel test after, and it was still white! That in itself shows how good this machine is. Easy to clean, however, I will order another clean water tank so that I can interchange the solutions without dumping out (and wasting) whatever isn't used for the various surfaces. Floors dry very fast too! Oh, and I have 3 large, heavily shedding dogs, and this is a godsend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, it does work well. Easy to put together and operate. I like running the wet function across the entire floor and then wait the 5 minute like it says in the instructions before going back and drying vs. going right back over the wet floor to dry immediately. By the time I wet clean the whole floor, it's time to go back and suck up the water anyway. I like how you can switch from hardwood to rug function easily. After I was finished cleaning the floors, it was easy to disassemble and clean. I was amazed at how dirty the water was and how much hair came out. I don't have a pet but I have long hair and there was a big ball of it in there. Here are the minor drawbacks: 1. Be sure to vacuum with a vacuum cleaner first. (Gasp!) Yes, you should do that to pick up any loose dirt, hair, etc. I vacuumed on Friday and got this on Sunday, so I went straight to using it vs running the sweeper. Even though it had only been 2 days, my hair was still wrapped around the brush. So when I cleaned the brush, I spent some time pulling my hair off that was wrapped around it. It wasn't much, but enough for me to kick myself for not vacuuming first with a vacuum cleaner again. 2. It is fairly easy to clean on the stairs but I wish there was a smaller attachment to clean them and go around the edges of the room or a small area rug (I wrestled with the small rug and crosswave). Like others pointed out, there's a small gap between the cleaner and wall. Would be nice to have something to run along there or other small areas to clean. Overall, it is worth the purchase. But remember to clean it afterwards like the instructions say. And if you're not going to take the time to run a vacuum regularly or right before using the crosswave and clean the crosswave after you use it, then this probably isn't for you. It will likely clog and break.

After cleaning ceramic tile the 1st time and emptied the dirty water, I immediately cleaned the floor again for the 2nd time with a new brush and water still came out dirty. Still may keep only due to back issues. Does anyone have any ideas? Other products?
