Works great on my wood floors but not on my area rug. I used a full tank of solution during the passes but no water was able to be sucked back up. So my carpet is damp with solution but still not clean. Does not have the suction power necessary to actually clean the rug. The rug was very low profile. Now trying to decide if I will return it for a cheaper electric mop for the wood floors.

I have all tile floors and never have my floors looked so good,they shine.This machine is so easy to use I couln not belive the dirt I got from my floors and I sweep my floors every day,I used my CROSSWAVE and now im not sweeping every day.. it was so nice not having to sweep then mop.I even used it on my rugs.My husband got it for me for Christmas.best gift he could have given me..I would tell anyone who was thinking about getting one,GET IT!!. I wished it had come out years ago,,Thanks Bissell.

I love this cleaner. Have 5 dogs and by the time I vacuum and get mop water ready, I seem to have more dog hair everywhere. This is perfect!! The floors dry very quickly, unlike a mop. It literally took me 3 minutes to clean the dirty water container, roll and the inside of the roller area. It was the best money I've ever spent. Worth every penny. Cleans so well, I'm amazed.

I am so impressed I've been raving about the Bissell Crosswave to my sister and I don't think she believed me until she tried it. She loved it and now wants to buy one for our brother. I'm retired and have mopped my share of floors and nothing compares to tithe BISSELL CROSSWAVE machine for a truly easy way to clean hard floors. My back doesn't even bother me to use it. I'm throwing out all my mops! Seriously. This is a real review and anyone who has a complaint I think is just a complainer. . Please restock "multi-surface cleaner" to Bed Bath & Beyond. Thanks.

I love using the Crosswave, for us older people that have issues with their hands...arthritis it makes it difficult to remove the brush cover - also not enough strength in our grip It would be great if there were a eject button! I would recommend this product always!

If you are questioning whether to get this product, don't hesitate! It is an awesome product and worth the money. I bought one for my daughter who has 2 big dogs and all tiled floors and she loved it, sent me pics of what the machine picked up. WOW... I bought one for me and LOVE it! I use to wash my floors by hand. The only thing is...it cant get into smaller areas, example.. beside and behind the toilet and it will pick up any residue along edges but does not clean close to the edges. Maybe they will come up for an attachment for it down the road. also, it does clean the carpets, its not a deep cleaner for carpets, but still does a great job. Don't let this deter you from buying this product. Its awesome and you will be happy with it.

We use CrossWave to clean spills the baby, the dog and the cats make in the living room that have hardwood floors. The kitty litter comes out of the box or dog has an accident. The CrossWave formula takes the smell away when the animals have accidents

The Crosswave is the best. I like it and will be using it a lot cause I didn't realize that much had built up on my floors until I started using the crosswave. I thought my floors were decently clean caused I mopped my floors 3-4 times a week; but after using the crosswave, I was in awe cause of all the dirt that I saw that came off of my floors. It is truly amazing. Couldn't ask for anything better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this floor cleaner about 4 months ago and it worked OK the first few times. Then all of a sudden, the motor that turns the brush spits and sputters. Then just quit...very disappointed Bissell. Since it was shot, I took it apart and found that the brush motor was eating away at the housing unit. There was even plastic shavings in the dang motor unit. Waste of money and now going to a landfill.

Just used my Crosswave for the 1st time. Ordered it because my expensive "bot" won't do my uneven slate tile kitchen floor without getting stuck 20 times. The "bot" also wouldn't even clean up smudges/pawprints off my bamboo wood floors. The Crosswave performed great on my slate floor & did a super job on the wood. Plus dried quickly so I wasn't waiting around for floors to dry before someone walked across the floor leaving prints. Can't believe the amount of dirt, etc. this picked up & I had just vacuumed.
