The Crosswave is amazing it's light weight, can be maneuvered easily, so easy to use and maintain does not leave carpet so wet . But for my experience it's not so tough on old dried stains on carpet. I live on an apartment so i am mostly carpet. i like to clean my carpet often because i have a 11 month old baby who puts everything in his mouth. My baby scatters fruitloops every so often on the carpet after chewing on it a bit, so its wet and the color of the fruit loops stains the carpet once it dries. So i run crosswave over it twice, thrice, four times nothing. I tried to use all the brushes with it but does not do much. It made me think that i might be wrong using it on a carpeted floor. It is only to be used on area rug or hardfloors? because it works perfectly well on both just not my carpeted floors. Overall a great product make me confident to let my baby play on the floor without having to worry about it being dirty. Its still 5 stars for me because it does work great on most surfaces

I purchased the Crosswave to replace my leaky Floormate. Love it! Easy to use, easy to clean, and solution has a great scent. I've used it twice and can't believe how dirty my floors were and how clean they feel now! My pool home is mostly tile and gets a lot of traffic. This does the job and does it well. Love the long cord and fast drying time. Highly recommend this product for hardwood floors and tile. Thank you Bissell!

I have tile, linoleum and a few area rugs throughout my house. This machine does great on the hard floors and is easy to use. I have tried this on my area rugs and I just feel it doesn't do that well on these. Not sure if it's just not getting them wet enough or doesn't suck enough or doesn't scrub enough or a combination of all of these but I just feel it's not cleaning them well.

This is the best product I have ever purchased!! Not only was I able to clean under my stove drawer without getting on my hands and knees, this product picks up cat hair, bird seeds, fish food, cat food, cat litter and husband food!! Also, it is amazingly ergonomically designed . I would recommend this product to everyone.

It doesn't pick up hair or dirt. Leaves streak marks of dirt. Still have to vacuum, sweep and mop. It worked great the first couple times but my floors were already cleaned. I'm so disappointed since it was supposed to replace my broom mop and vacuum. It seems to leave more of a mess behind it. It came with muti surface brush roll and no container to clean it in.

Does as advertised, one caveat This does everything as advertised and is as easy to use and clean as reviews cite. Was able to clean dried on pumpkin pie mix from a mixer spray disaster - kitchen floor tile - with just a few repetitive passes, per instructions that came with the machine. The nine year old's demo of how a bottle of soda pop can spew just like champagne - living room rug - was also a simple clean up with the carpet attachment. Finally, our home is 12 yrs old and I have never cleaned the wood floors with more than a damp rag, on hands and knees. I was skeptical about using the hard wood floor cleaner and was just going to use plain water, but decided to try the cleaner. Very satisfied with the CrossWave's cleaning, no-streak, and great water pick-up, as well as the cleaners luster once the floor dried. One caveat: While the unit's slim size will slide under dressers and lo cleaning head tips up and does not clean under such furniture.

I love this. Sweeping and mopping all at once plus you're not pushing around dirty residue from a mop. Quick and easy to fill and empty. I've only filled to "small area" because it lasts a long time. Brushes are so easy to clean with either the cleaning tray or just rinsing off. Using the tray not only cleans the brush/roller but cleans the viewing window leaving the unit looking brand new. It also spins most all of the liquid out of the brush/roller so it dries clean and quick. I do wish it scrubbed a little better but overall, just a great product.

I just bought my crosswave today. So far, it was very simple to unbox and put together. I was cleaning my kitchen floor within 5 minutes of openiing the box. It cleaned very well and was easy to operate.. I especially that I can dry my floor somewhat and when I was through it only took about 3 minutes for the floor to be dry enough to walk on. I was doing some cooking and dropped some scrap potato peels on the floor. I grabbed the crosswave and it made quick work of picking these up and I did a quick cleaning where I was cooking. Very nice. I like it a lot and I think I will grow to love it. I will update this review at a later date.

I thought this was going to be a wonderful purchase even though it was expensive for what you get. Boy was I wrong! I think machine was used prior to my purchase, was dirty and piece broken. Should have taken it back but store is far away. Wish I would have never bought it. Really miss the ability to have smaller attachment for reaching spaces.

I got this product after watching a TV ad. I love my Bissell carpet cleaner. Not 100% sure I will keep it because it's pricey and it's only good for in-between cleanups, and it has a problem with stopping. I thought the TV ad said 90 days trial. I love that this replaces daily sweeping and mopping spills and tracked-in dirt. But it doesn't clean the edges. I have housekeepers once a month, currently because I broke my ankle and am on a knee scooter. I can manage this one-handed. The swivel feature is useful. The machine stops when I pull back on the handle. I think there's a loose connection. The handle had to be inserted when I put it together. The handle shifts out quite a visible distance when pulling back the machine, stopping it, and goes back in with a click when I push it and it turns on again. I did not do a wimpy job of putting it together! This stopping has nothing to do with a full tank. I love that the machine cleans better than my housekeepers, where it does clean. I was amazed that 2 days after their floor mopping the tank filled with a ton more dirt and grime. But it takes a little time to clean the works. There's a lot to take apart, and there's a not-very-useful method putting water in the pan under the machine to "self clean" the roller and head. Grime is left in the machine. I clean the roller in the sink, and that's easy. A drop of dish detergent, as in the directions, does a great job. Just wiping out the head as directed doesn't completely work. My kitchen and bathroom floors are grouted tile, and vacuuming and mopping is difficult. After mopping it is necessary to dry the floors with a rag. The machine gets all the water sucked off the floors, and they get quite dry. I was so amazed at how much filth came off my entry rugs that I took them out and hosed them hard. Bissell still got a ton more dirt after that.
