We recently took out all the carpeting and put in hardwood floors. I have a mop with a sprayed built in, but after a while the floors got too dirty and we would keep getting a film quickly, no matter how often we cleaned the pad. So I bought this Bissell crosswave in the hoes that it would do a good cleaning job once every week or two and thus allow the spot mop to work better between times. Well, if does all that and it also shined up the floor nicely, including some areas that had been getting dull over the years. I am very happy with the purchase so far. It is also easy to take apart and clean after usage. It is all that I wanted it to be. Only thing better would be if it were robotic...

I can only say I wish I would've ordered it sooner! I recently had a couple vertebrae fused and I'm supposed to take it easy which is hard to do with 20+ cats in the house and a husband who doesn't help out with housecleaning. I work full-time and have a two-story house to maintain. I am always trying to find time in my schedule to get things done and this machine has helped me greatly. I simply love it and I don't say that lightly. I can be very critical when things don't work, which happens a lot, but not here. This machine is the best ever. It vacuums up kitty litter, cat food, and it doesn't shoot it back if you like the majority of the vacuums do today. It has been such a timesaver and gets my house even cleaner than before. I love it so much I pull it out during the week on a regular basis just to clean up because it's so easy. And when those cat hairballs come up, the Crosswave just takes care of them whether hard floor or area rug And when I get new kittens to foster that aren't quite litter trained out comes the Crosswave. I simply love this machine and cannot do without. If you're even just thinking a little bit about it, do it. Purchase this machine and you will be so glad you did. I've seen reviews where it's loud and yes it is a bit loud but it is a huge timesaver and really gets your home clean! I have always said that vacuums must be invented by men because they're just so many things wrong with them but you can tell a woman had input on this one, if not complete input. My only wish is a retractable cord. Everyone loves the long cords but I get tired of tripping over them. In summary go buy this now and you will be so happy. I promise that!

I bought this appliance to clean my tile floor. Although it does clean it I was expecting the brush to be a little more abrasive to get out ground in spots but unfortunately that is not so. Perhaps if a more abrasive brush was available and if the brush levels could be changed and more cleaner applied to the floor on the initial application I would appreciate this more. Also would have liked the used water tank to be a little larger. It does beat bending down and scrubbing though. Overall I was a little disappointed with its effectiveness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works really well on our hardwood floors with the exception that the way it sprays the water/cleaning solution, it never seems to hit the middle of the roller so you have to make sure you take a second swipe on the floor to get where it doesn't look like you mopped, but that is my only "complaint" other than that this works wonderful !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG! This is a prerequisite for living in a big city. There's a layer of dirt that clings to everything. I noticed it the first time I wore open toed shoes. I cleaned the area rugs in the apartment that I share with my friend who owns this beloved contraption. We're not hairy dirty people, but the schmootz that came out of this contraption that had me dancing in my bathroom for joy was unexpected and spectacular! It's so easy to use and the results of feeling like my home has been refreshed is like jumping into a bed with newly-shaved legs. Exilerating

It is so easy to use! I have tile floors, carpet in bedrooms and cork floor in the upstairs bedrooms and it just does the best job ever! I have bought the "steamer" mop, very disappointed with it! I just love how easy it is to change the heads on the cleaner and empty the dirty container! I have 3 yorkies and they mess on my carpet and the cross wave cleans it with ease. This is the best product!

So easy and clean. I have a screen room that gets a layer of fine dirt on the floor. I love that it picks up the water, dirt and all. The floor was far cleaner than I could ever get it with mop, hose, squeegeeing , and wet feet! Also I had a heavy rain after scrubbing and I just used the Crosswave to pick up the water that had collected in the screen room. My problem is that it does not get up against wall at the edge of the floor and it also cannot turn to get small spaces like between a commode and tub or cabinet.

I definately debated buying this but reading the reviews, I thought I would give it a try. This is the best thing ever. No more filling up buckets and cleaning mops. One step and your done. Easy to use and couldn't believe how much dirt it picked up off my floors even after vacuuming. I would Ihighly recommend this product.

I used my Crosswave today for the first time and was extremely satisfied with how will it worked. It made cleaning my floors easy and it did a fantastic job. It was easy to use and clean after the job was over. I was impressed how quickly it took care of our pet soiled entryway and the kitchen area that is a very high traffic area.

I've purchased every kind of mop for hard wood floors available. This is by far the best on the market. Swiffer and other brands leaves a haze on hard wood floors. Bought this one and cleaned all my floors as soon as I got home with it. Now clean with no haze! If you have indoor/outdoor pets, this is a must have!
