I had saved to purchase the Crosswave Pet corded for a few months. I wasted my money ! I had swept and mopped my floors the morning my order come in , but in my excitement thought I would give it a try anyway. The vacuum did not pick up dog hair and even left a few bits of dry dirt and bread crumbs. My dog had sloshed some water so I tried the mop feature. Horrible mistake!!! as soon as the brush was wet it started leaving major streaks on my floors and what little dirt and dog hair it picked up got completely gunked up and stuck in the suction tube behind the brush. Every week for almost 3 months when I attempt to use the Crosswave Pet I spend more time taking it apart to clean it and get the wet mats of hair and dirt out of the interior base and tube then I do actually using the product. Completely disappointed!!!!!

My husband purchased this for me. I was kinda nervous at first because I didn't help pick it out. It is a vacuum and mopping system all in 1. I was skeptical at first and didn't sweep the first time I used it. I was shocked at the dirty water!! I had just mopped my floors 2 days prior to using this for the first time. 2 days later I decided to sweep first then use the Bissell... I was shocked at how dirty the water was even after I had swept!!! I would recommend this product and seriously could not imagine cleaning without it!!! Not sweeping before using this also saves time... I LOVE this product!!!!

I only have a couple of weeks using the CrossWave but it does a great job cleaning the floors both wood and tile. I don;t have carpet in my home just a couple area rugs. It picks up the pet hair but as a result you really need to do a good cleaning of the roller, tank and machine lower after each use. This insures the machine cleans at the it's best. So far I really like this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very finicky laminate floors. Every cleaning product or mop I've ever used has left a hazy film and steaks. The only way I could get my floors clean was scrubbing on my hands and knees, it was awful. I decided it couldn't hurt to try this, and WOW! It leaves my laminate floors nice and clean, no streaks or funky product film left behind. I'm able to quickly clean over 2,000 sq ft of laminate on my main floor with minimal effort. I recommend this product to everyone I know! Some tips for my fellow laminate flooring people, I use very warm water in the cleaning solution. Also, after I've done my wet pass through I do several pass throughs with no additional water to help dry faster, and I work in small areas at a time. I get perfect results every time. As a busy mom with a toddler and 2 dogs, this helps me keep my home clean in much less time without breaking my back. I absolutely love this thing!

What a great machine! Very lightweight, easy to use, nice long cord, and I love the swivel head. How wonderful to be able to vacuum and wash the floor at the same time! Also think it's great that I can go straight from the hardwood floor to the area rugs. Really makes life easy! Only downside for me was that it cleaned a little too well -- apparently took off most of the floor wax, because afterwards my hardwood floors were a lot less shiny! But at least I know they're really clean now. I think I'll replace the "all-surface" roller brush with the hardwood floor roller brush, which should be easier on the waxed surface. However, I'm very satisfied with the machine. It does a great job! I'm so thankful I didn't settle for the Hoover machine, which from what I've read (and I've read literally hundreds of reviews) is a very unsatisfactory alternative. Thanks Bissell for keeping your standards high and producing a quality product. I'd rather pay more and get a high-quality machine that really does the job -- and will last for many years. Having 2 long haired dogs makes the dirty water canister fill up quite quickly. However, the floor cleaning is very thorough if you use slightly slower than an ordinary mopping action. Having the tray to stand it in is a good idea as it doesn't leave wet puddles on the floor and the brushes can dry out completely.

I am a retired cleaning lady of 25 years and this is by far my most favorite cleaning tool for the day to day cleaning. It is by no means an industrial cleaning tool as it does not scrub the edges of a room. I have a lot of floor to cover in my house which before this took a few hours to clean. My health prevents me from cleaning the way I used to, but now I can clean more effectively in a fraction of that time with ease. I own a husky and it sucks up mountains of hair and everything else exceptionally well for a vacuum this size and does not clog the unit. I would like to see the next model be able to rise and lower the brush to better clean uneven surfaces. P.S. Be sure to clean after every use the way the instructions say to extend the product's life.

Ive waited years for a awesome all in one item like this. The day it came to Bed Bath Beyond I bought it. I use it daily for kitchen duty. Its easy to use and easy to clean up when done using. Every part has easy removal and its lightweight. The only thing I would consider wanting on it is it to be cordless and have a roller with more scrubbers for hard stains. Overall it is exactly what Ive been wanting and needing in a fast-paced animal house like mine.

I LOVE the Bissell Crosswave! I have tried everything to clean my hardwood and vinyl floors and nothing has gotten them as clean as the Crosswave. My floors finally feel wonderful when I'm in my bare feet. I was skeptical at first how well it would clean. After I cleaned my kitchen floor I sprayed some vinegar water on an area that I just cleaned and the towel was clean. That has never happened before! It's actually a pleasure to clean my floors now and they do dry quickly. I have told everyone I know how wonderful the Crosswave is. It's worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WORST vacuum ever. Got a puppy and needed a new vaccum and the reviews on this seemed good. No. Has not worked since we got it. Doesn't suction a thing up. Our shark hardwood duster gets more off the carpet than this vaccum and it's not even meant for carpet. We have tried everything, changing out the water filter, cleaning the bristles everything. Nothing works and it STINKS. If you use the water filter, and clean it out it STINKS. makes our whole apartment smell awful. and to make it even better, it gets clogged and is impossible to remove. Literally not one good thing to say about this vaccum.
