Love this vacuum. It was so light and manageable; it cleaned my bathroom, hallway, kitchen, and living room and still has clean water and solution to spare. It's the best money we've spent on a cleaning product. I have tile throughout my home and I love that I can plug it in and go. It cleaned up stains that I would usually use bleach and elbow grease to clean very easily. Bonus when I turned it on it didn't scare my blind chihuahua.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Bissell for creating the Crosswave floor cleaner! My sister, Becky, and hairdresser, Joan, told me about this wonderful machine and finally I bought one with the idea that if it didn't work out I would return it! It is the new LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!!! I have never had so much fun cleaning my floors! This works incredibly! You don't even need to sweep or vacuum your floors before washing them (even though I DID vacuum them first!). I cleaned my bathroom floor, the entryway floor, the kitchen floor and the dining room floor yesterday and thoroughly loved it! It was so easy and the result was nice, clean floors! The instructions said that I can also use it on area rugs but I didn't try that one! I used it on hardwood, vinyl, tile, and slate flooring and it worked beautifully! I am so glad I bought this product--thanks to Becky and Joan! :) And if ever you need a spokesperson, I am your gal--I will tell everyone I know to buy this great product! I LOVE this machine. Before I had to vacuum the whole house. (tile) Then I had to mop. This saves me a LOT of work and it does a great job. The only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't reach about 2" along walls and it doesn't lay flat to clean under furniture. I HOPE Bissell looks at these problems and make some improvements.

It doesn't work on carpets. On hard floors it leaves a mark. You can't even clean 2 rooms because it starts to drop wet bits of grime. Removing hairs that get caught in the roller is hard work. It's definitely so much work to clean that you'd be better off wiping the floor with a cloth and crawling.

I have always got down on my knees to wash my floors because I hate the feeling of dirt on the bottom of my feet but ever since I bought the cross wave I haven't had to get on my knees and the floor are just as clean as though I had thank you bissell for coming up with this product it is saving my knees and my back . I have only had it for a month so I will write another review after I have had it for at least 6 months or so. For those users that complain about the sides not sucking up much just try using the swivel and try using the front against those walls and baseboards.

I love love love this. After much consideration over price and mixed reviews, I decided to try it for myself and can say it definitely does it's job. I have laminated wood flooring throughout both living quarters and kitchen, which took too much time to actually mop with a traditional mop. And with a swiffer it literally just moved dirt around. With the bissell it does it all. Seriously try it

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. We have combination floors, hardwoods, area rugs, full rooms carpeted... With the multi surface cleaner and the flick of a button you can clean everything. It flows smoothly and effortlessly over all surfaces and does a wonderful job cleaning. We also have two dogs and it does a fabulous job of cleaning up dog hair. We also own a little Bissell vac that we keep and use in our motor home and it also does a wonderful job. We will always be a loyal part o the Bissell "family". Jeannie Anderson

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product claims to work on area rugs and hard wood floors to "clean up messes and refresh surfaces" but, in actuality, this product is about as useful as a dollar store water gun. It sprays water on the floor or area rug and does not suck up water or even scrub for that matter. The design doesn't allow you to put enough pressure down in order to sufficiently scrub/catch any dirt. It's a very overpriced and dissapointing water gun. I love all of my other Bissell products ( spot cleaner, Vaccum, etc.) but certainly not this one.

This product is fantastic! I am very pleased ! Light weight, easy to use. Does exactly what claimed. I highly recommend to everyone! I can no longer scrub on my hands and knees and am still a clean freak. Use the machine every couple of days my floors shine! I have no carpet all hard wood and tile.

I only have a couple of weeks using the CrossWave but it does a great job cleaning the floors both wood and tile. I don;t have carpet in my home just a couple area rugs. It picks up the pet hair but as a result you really need to do a good cleaning of the roller, tank and machine lower after each use. This insures the machine cleans at the it's best. So far I really like this machine.
