I gave 4 stars based on the length of the brush, otherwise it would be 5. I have all ceramic tile and the brush isn't as wide as the tile, therefore I have to swipe each tile 3 times. HOWEVER, it cleans like crazy! I used to sweep, then steam mop, twice, then stiffer. Thus product gas saved me sooooo much time, all I do now I see crosswave and stiffer. Great, great product!

I usually don't write reviews but I had to do a review on this. I have tried everything on my hardwood to clean it from shark steammop to any and all mops, Swiffer Wetjets and everything in between. They all had the same issue that once the mop head gets dirty you are just pushing dirty water around. Last weekend I went ahead and pulled the trigger on buying a Crosswave and am very pleased with the results. It is like a broom and mop all in one. It saves me loads of time over the sweep and wet mop job I was resigned to doing. And it actually sucks the dirty water up into the cannister. I am completely amazed at how dirty the waste water is when I empty it. Even when I am doing a floor that looks clean to start with. Every time I use it my floors look better and better. It works great on my tile floors also. It even cleans the grout that I used to have to scrub by hand. The Crosswave is worth every penny I paid for it and then some. It takes me a fraction of the time of the standard sweep and mop that I was doing before and my floors look way cleaner than the old sweep and mop. Thanks Bissell for making my life a bit easier.

Bought this crosswave primarily for white tile front to back, sick of trying every mop only to push dirt and grime around.. Did floors twice a week first three weeks and it does a good job. bought home 2012 and should have had tile professionally cleaned first..Previously a rental home ... Do not expect it to clean grimy grout... Did a bang up job on area rugs and laminate,,

I ordered the crosswave to see if it could help to keep up on the floors. Normally it is a sweeping then a run over with a mop. Which took a lot of time as my house is all hardwood. I was shocked at how easy this was to use. Not only did it do the the job 2 jobs in one but cut my time of cleaning the floors in half. I was amazed and how dirty the water was after cleaning. This is by far the best purchase.

Every household needs to have a CrossWave. It is so easy to use and does an amazing job. I never realized that my floors were sooooooo yucky till I cleaned them with the CrossWave. I took mine to the cottage.......what a time saver. Plus with limited space I can now get rid of items I no longer need. This is the first time I have commented on a product I purchased. I am very pleased with my purchase. In fact I am buying a 2nd one to leave at the cottage.

This really is the best idea ever. Works great and finds so much dirt it is incredible. I didn't give it an excellent, because it does leave my floors streaky. Not sure yet if it is the machine/chemicals/or just a years worth of build up from other cleaners. I will keep trying though. Bissell makes the very best machines. :)

Love, love, love it!! Finally there's a 2 in 1 product that works! The Crosswave is lightweight and easy to use. I was hesitant to purchase the Crosswave. I'm a skeptic when it comes down to these types of purchases, as most products rarely perform as advertised. Once my Crosswave arrived, I decided to put it to the test. I cleaned my kitchen floor first with a popular "spray & mop" product. The cleaning pad was somewhat soiled. Then I used the Crosswave on the kitchen floor right after. I was astounded at how much more dirt & grim the Crosswave picked up. Which was evidenced by the brown dirty water I dumped from the holding tank when I was through! My husband even commented on how much brighter and shinier the floor looked. He never notices! Thank you Bissell for a product that performs and makes my life easier.

My entire house is tile. I thought this would be a time saver and at first it was! Then it started leaving dirt streaks and leaking dirty water. Having to take it apart between each use and completely clean it, including using a pipe cleaner on it, wastes even more time than it saves. Plus now I have to use a towel to wipe up the dirt streaks it leaves. If you dont pre-clean your floors, the dirt will just get wet and then this "mop" will streak it everywhere, fatal design flaw.

I have always hated mopping my floors ,but with the cross wave I love it! I have used it about 3-4 times now. I like that I can vacuum and mop at the same time! I love how it smells when I am done cleaning too! I have soft water so I do not put as much solution in the tank and it still works great! It is loud,but I don't mind because it drowns out the sounds around me. It don't really use it to deep clean the grout lines,I just use it to keep an overall clean look and feel.

Do not spend the money on this machine. I had the Symphony all-in-one machine with removable mopping pads, which was almost $100 less in price. This Symphony stopped working after one year, Bed Bath & Beyond graciously returned my machine, the only alternative was the Crosswave so I gave it a go. While using it the 2nd time I smelled a horrible smell coming from the machine, the spin mop brush and inside the unit held dirty water and smelled awful. You have to take this machine apart and clean it after every use to avoid the rancid smell. The Symphony never had a smell, never required me to clean the machine after use, mop pads were washable. I am returning this machine.
