I was wishing a vacuum could have a floor wash button too. What a dream! Then I saw the crosswave advertised and my husband picked one up for me. The floors are so clean!!! I was so e cited that I washed the floor twice in one day - and I hate cleaning because it's cumbersome to vacuum then get a pail and mop. Too many steps!! This cleaner is so lightweight and easy to use. Works on rugs too. I just love it!!!

Does an excellent job vacuuming and scrubbing my wood floors. However cleaning up all the parts of this product are just as must time consuming as if i mopped and then vacuumed . However it does do an excellent job scrubbing the floors to a shine , where just mopping leaves streakes unless you constantly clean up the mop bucket.

I have been using this machine (sometimes several times daily) for the past 6 months to clean the vinyl laminate floors in my home; mostly after pet accidents. The unit preformed as advertised in meeting my cleaning requirements! While generally pleased with my machine's cleaning performance, I must say that I was quite disappointed in the inadequate capacity of the dirty water tank! My cleaning chores had to be interrupted much too often to dump dirty water from the tank. However, this small discomfort was ultimately nothing when compared to the incident resulting in my machine's sudden and ultimate demise. On Saturday, November 16, while using the machine in routine pet cleanup duties, the motor slowly began to slow and loose power, ultimately resulting in the motor ceasing up, bursting into a cloud of thick, heavy smoke, and almost catching fire! The power switch would no longer function; forcing me to pull the power cord to prevent a potential (AND HIGHLY LIKELY) fire from occurring! I then had to sit the smoking machine outside and open my patio door to clear the smoke from my house! The motor was NEVER exposed to water and the unit was always kept drained and clean, as prescribed in the owners manual! I've owned other Bissell machines (mostly vacuums) in the past. It is true that nothing last forever and I can safely say that none of your previously purchased products have been overly durable, but this is totally ridicules. I am frightened to think of what could have happened if my wife had been using the machine! Therefore, I must say that I am somewhat reluctant to purchase another Bissell product again (which is a sad shame considering how well the machine preformed prior to this unforeseen and FINAL incident!

I LOVE the Bissell Crosswave! I have tried everything to clean my hardwood and vinyl floors and nothing has gotten them as clean as the Crosswave. My floors finally feel wonderful when I'm in my bare feet. I was skeptical at first how well it would clean. After I cleaned my kitchen floor I sprayed some vinegar water on an area that I just cleaned and the towel was clean. That has never happened before! It's actually a pleasure to clean my floors now and they do dry quickly. I have told everyone I know how wonderful the Crosswave is. It's worth every penny.

I have dogs and cats, and my home is tile with area rugs. The first time I used it, I wasn't sure it was doing anything, and then I looked at the dirty water tank, and holy cow, it was filthy. It perked my rugs right up and did a good job on my tile. with no streaks. The house is about 40 years old and there is some time that's old and has some dirt ground in, and it did not get that all out, but made a difference. I plan on having that tile professionally cleaned and the CrossWave will help me keep it clean after that. I like very much that it's user-friendly and intuitive, which made it easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning. 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm not sure how long the multi-surface roller is going to last.

I overall really like this machine. I've had mine for just over a year. The only negative is that sometimes the holding tank seems to fill up very quickly. I so have a dog and I probably have to empty it about three times per time I vacuum. recently the roller stopped working. I called them the same night. There customer service hours are amazing? and they are sending me a new machine. I'm impressed and will buy again in the future!

I am so impressed I've been raving about the Bissell Crosswave to my sister and I don't think she believed me until she tried it. She loved it and now wants to buy one for our brother. I'm retired and have mopped my share of floors and nothing compares to tithe BISSELL CROSSWAVE machine for a truly easy way to clean hard floors. My back doesn't even bother me to use it. I'm throwing out all my mops! Seriously. This is a real review and anyone who has a complaint I think is just a complainer. . Please restock "multi-surface cleaner" to Bed Bath & Beyond. Thanks.

I have a big living room and this little machine works well, however, it is not made for large areas. I’m sorry it is not. If you have a small apartment or studio then yes use it, but for large areas it is a hassle to stop and drain out the small container. Also, it clogs easily and then the water suction doeant operate as well whichc causes water to drain back out on the floor/carpet. If there is hair on the floor/carpet, it will pick up all the hair...and wrap around the brush. Thats a hassle cause youre going to have to cut all the wrapped hair and it gets inbetween the ends of the brush- which there is no way of removing the end parts. Then you have to cut the hair which the brushes get in the way. If you have nice area rugs and its started to loosen this bad boy will suck it up quickly. It will suck up rugs -depending on the type/style- easily. Overally it works well, depending on how much you use the brush, it will need replacing faster then normal usage. Cleaning is easy, but you have to clean it everytime after use due to the water usage. I wished this machine would have heat when cleaning carpets or even the bare floor. The suction valve is a pain to clean out cause its for people with small fingers/hands to get in and get the left over dirt, which causes the suction to not be as good. Also, clean underneath it near the small rubber lining , it will get dirty quick. Another thing is that when the brush is worn out or there is too much hair wrapped around it the water doesnt spread out as easily and doesnt suck it back up as good. Plus, i dont think it is worth the cost of over $200. More like 175. For over $200, there should be an additonal brush and air filter... speaking of air filter, that too is a pain to clean it is small and needs to be replace faster then the brush.

GREAT LITTLE UNIT. EASY TO BREAK DOWN TO CLEAN. EASY TO OPERATE. I USE IT ON MY HARDWOOD FLOORS AND TILE FLOORS. DID A GREAT JOB. ALSO DECIDED TO USE IT ON MY LARGE THROW RUGS AND IT DID A GREAT JOB. DIDN'T HAVE TO PULL OUT THE BIG BISELLE CARPET CLEANER. ITS NICE TO DO DEEP CLEANING ON MY FLOORS IN BETWEEN MY REGULAR CLEANING WITH THIS MACHINE. THANKS BISELLE.

I just got this a couple days ago. We have 3 dogs, a cat, and all bare floors. I swept a little because I wanted to give the CrossWave a fighting chance. I was amazed at how much pet hair my broom did not sweep up. I am confident in the job it did, my floors are immaculate. The nasty spots I went over a few times which is way better than scrubbing with a mop. Very easy to clean which was a bonus. I didn't have any streaking issues. The floor dries way faster than mopping. I should have rinsed the brush in the cleaning tray before I took it apart. Read the directions. It doesn't get real close to the wall but gets closer if you go towards the wall head on, I still think it did a way better job than a mop. My wrists are very painful and wimpy. This thing is very lightweight and easy to handle for long periods of time. Disassembly to clean was also very easy even for me. I found a small dish bucket to hold my parts while they dry. Go over your floors kind of slow, give it a chance to do the job. I haven't used it on the area rugs yet but I will. I am a faithful Bissell consumer. Vacuum and carpet shampooer are Bissell. They last a long time and are affordable. I investigated this product before I purchased it because it was a little spendier than I'm used to but very happy!
