Vacuum seems cool at first, 3-in-1 but it shuts off automatically and randomly. The collection canister is very small and if you have fur babies, it fills quickly. I can't clean my floors without emptying it at least twice. Also, there is a mold smell even after cleaning it.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Bissell for creating the Crosswave floor cleaner! My sister, Becky, and hairdresser, Joan, told me about this wonderful machine and finally I bought one with the idea that if it didn't work out I would return it! It is the new LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!!! I have never had so much fun cleaning my floors! This works incredibly! You don't even need to sweep or vacuum your floors before washing them (even though I DID vacuum them first!). I cleaned my bathroom floor, the entryway floor, the kitchen floor and the dining room floor yesterday and thoroughly loved it! It was so easy and the result was nice, clean floors! The instructions said that I can also use it on area rugs but I didn't try that one! I used it on hardwood, vinyl, tile, and slate flooring and it worked beautifully! I am so glad I bought this product--thanks to Becky and Joan! :) And if ever you need a spokesperson, I am your gal--I will tell everyone I know to buy this great product! I bought my second crosswave, well 3rd if you count the one I returned after one week. My first Crosswave was the best performance until about a year having it began leaving dirty little puddles. It was frustrating so decided to buy a new one. Much to my surprise and disappointment the new one did the same thing. I immediately returned it. At that point I felt this product wasn't being manufactured to its best ability. 2 yrs later I needed another floor cleaner I have fairly big home and most is hard floors, tile and laminate. Shopping for another floor cleaner I came across the Crosswave cordless I liked the idea of not having a cord. I bought it and thought I would give a Bissell another try. The battery goes a long ways allows me to clean kitchen, family rooms, bathrooms, and even rugs and still have battery left. The downside, it does not remove most stuck on food, and some stains. The worse part is, it still tends to leave little dirty puddles. This happens if you accidentally heat furniture or a wall, and always when you shut it off. It leaves a dirty residue. This is a big flaw in my opinion, and one I did not have with my first crosswave Bissell not cordless, thought I'd mention that. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 5. It's an expensive cleaner and should perform better! I will continue to use it until it stops working and will not purchase anymore Bissell cleaners.

Our H brand Upright vac's has been some what dependable, for 20 or so years we've been loyal to that brand. This most recent purchase of the "bag less upright" Multi surface and pet cleaning, we have hard woods and some nice carpet.wed love to treat these surfaces kindly whilst cleaning them. Has been taken apart more than any other model we've ever owned. Weak drive belts, thank goodness we are both capable to replace that belt. The brush has worn the guides and won't allow a belt to stay engaged. I've read most of the posts and were liking this Bissel machine. In another life we were cross country Truck Drivers and went to the DC in Elwood,Il a few times. Nice place, huge and seemed to be well maintained. So, I think we'll go ahead and pull the trigger on this cross wave machine We will keep all the readers posted on the machine...semi- severe low back and shoulders and all..

I have wanted one of these for 16 months! We moved into a new house with tile floors in the utility, kitchen and kitchen nook and I hated mopping these floors it was so hard on my back and they never looked good. After my first time using the Crosswave, they looked fantastic! Even family members commented on how good those floors looked. Used as well on a couple of area rugs I have and they just seemed to "perk up" the looks of the rugs. My hubby purchased for my birthday and I love it and love him for getting it for me!

This machine really has powerful suction you won't believe. How convenient it could be to vacuum and clean at the same time. However, it does not clean. I have a white floor in my kitchen and repeatedly went over simple ordinary spots, like in front of my sink floor and such, and they did not come off. They easily came off by hand with a cloth... I bought a Bissell steam mop instead. It does the job very well. Not this expensive heavy machine. It simply does not clean. My new Powerfresh steam mop from Bissell cleans very well and is a fraction of the price!!

I have tile, linoleum and a few area rugs throughout my house. This machine does great on the hard floors and is easy to use. I have tried this on my area rugs and I just feel it doesn't do that well on these. Not sure if it's just not getting them wet enough or doesn't suck enough or doesn't scrub enough or a combination of all of these but I just feel it's not cleaning them well.

Being a bit skeptical, I finally used the Christmas gift tonight - and purposely my floors were past ready for a clean. The cleaning solution smells great, very easy to follow instructions and use, and like others have said it doesn't get close to the edges. Since I have an older home, it doesn't do so well getting around odd corners -- so I still had to wipe up tight spots that my vacuum would have gotten. Very good swivel head, and did great on long stretches of floors. I like how quickly the floor dried as well. The long cord is great, and did need an adapter as well - but have those on hand with this old house. I do appreciate how easy it is to clean up after, and how well the parts seem to go back together. I agree if it had a wand - that would make it GREAT. All in all a good machine, and I look forward to trying it again, as it did save me a lot of time - even with the hand wiping I did. ( I couldn't register on line for some reason and did have to call in --- that was a bit annoying.)

I purchased this product 2 weeks ago and tried using it twice, after floors finally dried both times nothing but streaks on my porcelain tiles. It does not get close to walls so you have to clean by hand. All the dirt was stuck to roller chamber when taking it apart to clean you could see all dirt never made it to chamber. Not worth the money especially if I have take a mop to complete flooring cleaning, no time saved!!!! Want to get my money back.

It's so much easier and quicker to use than a traditional mop, is made of quality materials, no spots or streaks, and the best part... it doesn't swirl around dirty water all over the floor. It really works! I love everything Bissell, but this Crosswave is my absolute favorite!
