I have the Symphony and like it a lot, but feel it takes too long because of the steam. When I saw the Crosswave, I had to have it! It's amazing. It does all that it claims to do. My only recommendation is that the tank for garbage be bigger. But that's it. Easy to use, quick and efficient.

I read the other reviews and cant understand why my cleaner does such a poor job. It leaves foamy streaks on the rug and has such poor suction that it does not pick up much of anything. The brush does not rotate so leaves a roll of hair and dust that I have to bend over and pickup. On the wood floors, it does not clean spots left by spilled items, but just glides over them leaving wet places and the sticky spot is still there. The intake also is very small and clogs easily. Overall, I would say this works nothing like I had hoped it would.

This is the best purchase I have made is a long time. It truly works great. Vacuums and mops at the same time. I recently moved into a house with 100% wood and/or tile floors. This is the only thing I need to keep them looking great and without a lot of effort. It is lightweight. cleans great and it is easy to keep it clean. I add a little lavender oil into the tank and my house smells great!

We have cats and dogs and wanted a 2-in-1 machine. We had a new Hoover Floormate and it just wasn't working for us to vacuum and then clean the floors. The Hoover Floormate was heavy too. The Crosswave gets the floor very clean and vacuums at the same time. It has saved me so much time. Our home is completely tile so it has been a lifesaver. It is very light weight. The best feature is you can take it apart and clean it after use - even the brush! The cleaning solution works great - no streaking and it smells really good. It is the best hard floor cleaner I have ever owned.

Use weekly to clean hardwood floors; shampoo carpets of doggy accidents. Feel more comfortable fostering 4 more dachshunds plus my personal 3 "Weiner" dogs. Sometimes the fosters were rescued from a poor situation and haven't been house trained. It's the foster's job to get the foster's house trained and ready for adoption. I LOVE the Bissell Crosswave! I have tried everything to clean my hardwood and vinyl floors and nothing has gotten them as clean as the Crosswave. My floors finally feel wonderful when I'm in my bare feet. I was skeptical at first how well it would clean. After I cleaned my kitchen floor I sprayed some vinegar water on an area that I just cleaned and the towel was clean. That has never happened before! It's actually a pleasure to clean my floors now and they do dry quickly. I have told everyone I know how wonderful the Crosswave is. It's worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very hard to clean the vacuum after use which leads to it having an odor. There are no hose attachments which makes it difficult to clean floor edges/fans/walls/etc. For the price, I wish it worked better. Really regret buying it.

I have had this product for two years. Today was the first time I took it out of the box to use. It was very easy to set up and use. I loved how simple it was to use and how it helps clean the floor like I was mopping. I would like to buy one for my mom and oldest daughter for their floors. I dislike emptying it but use my utility tub. Slowly pour out the dirty water and use paper towel to clean up the hairs and dirt pile. Can't believe how much dirt came up! I do recommend vacuum normally for very dirty floors first as needed. Otherwise using this item or similar would work great. Thank you Bissell! Cleaning up after our puppy and the dirty paw prints from rain and snow when they come in, has made it so much easier and just cleaning the floor makes my kitchen look so much cleaner.

I love my Crosswave it makes clean up alot faster than doing a 2 step process. Easy to use and to maintain. Only Con I have with the machine its not the best on set in spills and stains such as dried up jelly on the kitchen floor and/or a dried up juice spill. I have to hover over the area for a second or two sometimes three to get it up and I have to use more solution. Great for quick spills and quick clean up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have vinyl flooring. This does not work for my needs and instead of making cleaning easier, it's just more hassle. I have a difficult cleaning need and this doesn't even cut it. My dog licks the floor, leaving saliva that when wet causes a slipping hazard. I've had to get down and scrub with a magic eraser to get the floor clean. I tried my old floor mate but the brushes only work where they make contact with the floor. Thought that the brush roll on this had better coverage. It works in theory, just not on my floors. It leaves a grimy mess with tracks from the front rubber lip of the machine. It takes several slow passes to get light dirt up. The drying feature works okay, just it's overshadowed by how poor the brush works. It is a waste of time and not convenient. I'm going back to the mop and the magic eraser.
