Without my new CrossWave I would have to first sweep or vacuum my wood floors. Then spread the dirt around with my microfiber spray mop or over wet the flooring with a bucket and mop. Being left with a streaky still dirty floor. Now with the CrossWave I pick up and vacuum dirt and debris in one pass. With the suction collection of the dirty water solution, the flooring dries in minutes Cleanup and post-use care of the CrossWave takes only about 5 minutes. Up until purchase of the CrossWave I was really regretting the purchase of a home with dark wood flooring. Now with the CrossWave purchase, I have no worries. THANKS BISSELL

I bought this for cleaning up after my dogs. The hole that sucks up the dirt and hair clogs very easy. I have to stop cleaning several times just to clean clogged hole. It needs a stronger suction. Blows the dog hair all over before sucking it up. I got this thinking it would be easier to use than my Kirby. Very disappointed in this vacuum and sorry I spent the money on myself and my mom. Got her one for Christmas the same time I got mine. I have used this now for 3 months and upsets me every time I use it. You want it for light work, its fine if you want to keep going over the area you just vacuumed with it!

My previous hard floor cleaner was a Floormate, while it was good it has flaws that are simply unacceptable. The Bissell Crosswave is head and shoulders above the competition. It's easy to use, lightweight maneuverable and does a fantastic job cleaning the floors in just one step. No need to vacuum first, this floor cleaner picks it all up and leaves your floors their cleanest. When finished with the floors this unit cleans up so easily I can't believe the difference between the Floormate and the Crosswave. The Crosswave and it's superior design are so much easier to clean. I'm looking forward to using this for many years to come. Don't hesitate to buy this product, it's a winner!

Not as good as the Bessel steam cleaner for hard floors. The floors and area rugs are clean, but I expected better performance. The machine is ver loud. But it do a decent job cleaning my area rug and floors. Cleaning the machine a little too time consuming for me.

This is one of the worst products I've ever bought!! I have a fairly large house with all hardwood and tile floors. I wanted something to make my life a little easier. This is not the product to do that. It leaks streaks all over my hardwood and leaks dirty water EVERYWHERE!! Even if I don't come close to the mop button I still have streaks of dirty water all over and when I turn it off there is almost always a small puddle of brown water. I've only had my crosswave for about 6 months but I can tell you this will be the last time I buy Bissell every again.

From few days of received the handle wasn't connected right, after using several times the suction wasn't picking up noticeable crumbs, do remember you have 30 days to return or exchange after you be stuck with an item that can't do much like a regular vacuum, it does clean spots but you need to keep vacuum in place to make sure its getting formula to go head and clean it up, I would recommend for light cleaning meaning items or things you can't visibly see.

I'm very unhappy with my product it leaves stains and have to be throwing dirty water even though is not full and the same time cleaning product from the bottom and also leaves dirty stains when it dries so i have to pass it twice all over and the edges and doesn't clean. I wish I can change for another product. I'm with this review stated the same issues I'm having. Used on tile and it takes several passes to clean dried things from tile. My main complaint is that it does not clean close to baseboards or cabinets on either side of the power head. Leaves about a 2 inch space on either side of power head not cleaned.

Have been in a wheel chair since September 6 when I had my infected hip removed and a spacer put in to clear up the infection before they will replace the hip. I used to be a meticulous housekeeper but this has slowed me down a lot. With two big dogs in the house you can imagine how the house was starting to smell. I was able to use this cleaner. Of course I was a little slower than an able bodied person would be but I got three big rooms done in two hours. House smells clean and I could not be happier,

I really like the Crosswave. Just like the Floormate, the Crosswave uses only clean water to wash the floors and then vacuums up the dirty water in a separate tank. The difference is this machine does not use as much water when washing, so the dry time is less time. The Crosswave is less noisy, and the head articulates to reach corners easier. I like the placement of the on/off button on the front of the handle. The cord is long enough so I do not have to constantly re-plug it in else where. Most of all, the Cosswave really does vacuum up all the pet hair and dust on the tile floors. I'm very happy with this machine.

The touted dual-function makes for a yukky wet mess to clean out of small areas of the appliance. I would never wash my floors unless I vacuumed first. The dirty water tank fills up fast and must be emptied or the machine makes a loud, high pitched sound. The frequent emptying, rinsing and putting back together takes a lot of time. The brush roll cover is very hard to remove. This machine does a good job but it is not a fast, efficient way of getting floors clean, no matter what a Youtube video says. And it does not do small rugs unless they are very thin and attached or do not move on the floor. It lifts lightweight rugs. All in all, it's a labor-intensive appliance.
