I don't always take time to do reviews but this machine is awesome. You would not believe how many sweepers and mopping products I have tried over the years. We have 3 dogs, so lots of hair and dirt. I absolutely love the CrossWave for my hardwood floors, kitchen, and bathrooms. It is so easy to use, light weight, and simple to take apart to clean. I always hate cleaning the machines when I'm done but this one is so easy. I love that you can switch from sweeping to mopping with the pull of a trigger.It is also great for area rugs. I've had other products I love in the beginning but then hated after a few uses. I've had this for four months and love it as much as I did the first time I used it. It is so easy to handle that the kids can use this one but I love it so much I usually just do it myself. Haha, I know that sounds like a commercial but so true! Love, love, love it!!!

Just used my new Bissell Crosswave and love it ! I have Tile, Hardwoods floors along with area rugs in my house. It was so easy to use and light weight! It really cuts down cleaning time and effort. I am disabled and found it be the tool I need to get my floors cleaned. Thank you Bissell!

This is a great little vaccum, IF that's all you want it for. It swivels great. Easy to maneuver. The shampooing, cleaning part of this item is poor at best. It has left scratches all over my new floor. It does not cleaning like one would expect it to for being the cost that it is. Back to broom and mop for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought the Bissell worked well on my concrete floors. They didn't look too dirty, no mud or pet hair. Was surprised how dirty the water was in the dirty tank. The one thing that really put me off was the odor of the multi-surface formula. It has artificial fragrance added, and I found it overwhelming. My eyes watered and it irritated my nose. I only cleaned a small room, and though I was running the air exchanger, I had to leave for awhile. The odor lingers. I would love it if Bissell sold a fragrance free formula for this type of cleaning. In future, I will use water without formula. It works well enough with just plain water. When the warranty period ends, I'll use a Bona product instead.

Easy to use. No vacuuming or swifting hardwood and tile floors before cleaning. I used to hand clean all my floors, not any more. My floors have never been so clean. I have two Shelties with lots of hair and live in the Northwoods. My weekly floor cleaning time reduced fifty percent. Also it is light weight and easy to assemble and clean. Ninety percent hard wood surfaces in my home.

I think everyone should have one of these machines.Love the fact that I don't have to vacuum my floors then mop,which was always a problem .The crosswave does both at the same time and you are cleaning you floor with clean water at all times.I know that I have told all my friends/family about this incredible tool. You won't be wasting your money!!!!

first of all I waited for a long time before I bought this. I previously owned a Hoover floor mate, which I loved. It finally gave out and when deciding to purchase another one I went with the Bissel CrossWave because it did more that the Hoover what with the carpet cleaner included. I found them really pricy but thought it would be worth it with all the features. NEVER HAVE I BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN A PRODUCT. Had trouble with the suction from day one. It would take me about five passes to get all the water up but at leas it did pick it up. The floors looked great when I would finish but it took a great deal of back and forth to pick up the water. The carpet feature on my area rugs seemed to work better for some reason???. I should have brought it back immediately but kept working with it. Well it has just gotten worse. Not only does it not pick up well, it does not ever clean the floor well because it hardly picks up any of the water. I don't even know why I gave it a rating of 2, it really deserves 0. Tried to see where I could have it looked at but have not found anyplace as yet.

I have 2800 sq feet of hardwood floors with 3 area rugs in my house. I would use a mop and cleaner and it looked clean but when you walked barefoot on it, you could still feel a deep dirt. I really thought, that was the best you could get with hardwood floors. I saw the Crosswave commercial and though that would be great if it really worked. Decided to get it a Trial test. Wow, not only was a easy and lightweight to use but is has been 5 days now and my floors still look and FEEL like I just did them. This is a big keeper for me. The only thing I found, is that I do need to vacuum prior because it really does not pick up as good as a vacuum with cat liter and hair. It does though dry up the water real good and basic cleaning. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works really well on our hardwood floors with the exception that the way it sprays the water/cleaning solution, it never seems to hit the middle of the roller so you have to make sure you take a second swipe on the floor to get where it doesn't look like you mopped, but that is my only "complaint" other than that this works wonderful !!

I would give this product a 3.5 for the price. I've read many great reviews highlighting all of the perks; however, there are some areas that I am frustrated about. When mopping/sweeping I noticed when in tight areas and I attempted to move the head to clean the brush would stop. I had to move my body for it clean some areas. Another bummer was that although there is a flat side to the system to make it easier to get close to the wall, the brush was still approximately 2 inches or so from the wall. With that said, if you have dirt close to your baseboards you'll have to get your broom out to get the dirt swept out and then mop to clean those crevices out. Lastly, there were areas that I noticed were still dirty after I had cleaned up the unit. I feel that in some instances, using my Libman mop pad did a better job. I'm going to continue using the device for a portion of the money back guarantee to see if it is something I would like to keep or if it's more of a hassle than the ordinary way. So, if you're looking for a black or white answer on whether you should buy this product I would say try it out, if you don't like it send it back as there is a money back guarantee.
