The cord comes from the bottom of the machine so it must be picked up and held or it tangles up in the spin roller. The machine picks up dirt and kitty litter from the floor very nicely but if you are using the wash feature you create mud and or cement in the waste receptacle which is pretty yucky. I still have to go over the floor to scrub off tough spots. Wet pet hair gets trapped in the mechanism of the filter and also in the intake area of the floor attachment.

I love this!!! It's light and easy to clean. There's only two downsides to it. It's a little loud with a high pitched noise in smaller spaces. And, I did notice that even using the no streak cleaner that came with it, I had streaks on very smooth vinyl flooring. It worked great on tile and textured vinyl. I really wish it had an edger. But, I still LOVE it!!

This really is the best idea ever. Works great and finds so much dirt it is incredible. I didn't give it an excellent, because it does leave my floors streaky. Not sure yet if it is the machine/chemicals/or just a years worth of build up from other cleaners. I will keep trying though. Bissell makes the very best machines. :)

Only machine that picks up white dog hair from dark area rug in family room. I am constantly amazed at what is picked up from rugs and hardwood floors. I use it almost every other day. I thoroughly clean it after each use, so it is interesting to see what I pour out each time.

This product is great. Having multiple pets running around the house means regardless of the amount of vacuuming I do, when it comes time to mop, there's still fur. Finally I can "mop" and not simply push around fur. This product does great on my lightly soiled floors and even fairs well on some large messes. The area rugs in our house also get pretty disgusting due to the dogs, however with the Crosswave, I can do a quick and effective cleaning regularly on them, without the fuss of carpet cleaners. Some negatives, it doesn't clean "stuck" or dried messes that well. Plus the corners of the house and floor edges near baseboards tend to be left behind. Overall though I'd recommend this product!

I bought the crosswave in June because I was having surgery on my hand with a nine month recovery. I really love Bissell products and have had many but this one is unimpressive! It's more work cleaning it up after you use it then it is to sweep and mop. If I could send it back for a refund I sure would!

This is the best purchase I ever made in my life! I thought my floor was fairly clean as I had to mop it a couple times a week because of doggies and sand that gets carried in my house. When I received the Crosswave I eagerly set it up and went to work cleaning my floors. I was astonished and amazed at all the gunk and dirt that this small lightweight cleaner pulled up. It was almost like I had never mopped my floors in years. I was truly embarrassed when I showed my husband the dirty water and debris that was picked up. I will never go without this Bissell Crosswave! No more mop buckets and mop in this house!

When you use your Bissell Crosswave 1st- Vacuum, then 2nd- pour your solution into the machine to the line water first then the solution. This solution is so powerful, I had to use less solution and more water it works sooooo good. My carpet came so clean I can see the difference. Yes I recommend that you buy you a Bissell Crosswave.

I love this thing. It does what the commercial says. Easy to use and cuts the cleaning time in half for me. I own a townhome with 3 dogs and always seems to get dirty within days. I take half an hour of my day and use this... Bam done... For days! I get the floors vacuum, mopped and buffed at the same time, go over area rugs. Spots gone. It is lightweight and easy to manage. It doesn't work good on plastic runners though. The solution last for awhile. Takes a good amount of timea and use to fill the dirty water dispenser too. I'm in love with this!

It saves so much time not having to sweep before washing my floors. It has suction to vacuum up dirt and as you squeeze the trigger to put water down on the floor it suction up the water and dirt at the same time. It can be used to clean carpets but in my opinion it is mainly for light dirt or dust. It's not great on deep spills. It only touches the surface, so buy a steam cleaner or shampooer made for carpets if you have dogs accidents or beverage spills.
