I bought this item to try to gain some independence after a stroke which affected my left side. In that aspect I give it a 5. Easy to use. My complaint: extremely noisy and loud. Also does nothing for along the wall. Leaves dirt near surfaces. It would be nice to have edge cleaner on both sides. Even though I have gained my independence I am hesitant to use it because of noise.

I was uncertain at time of purchase about the effectiveness of the Crosswave. After using it for 5 months on wood floors I give it two thumbs up! We made the mistake of installing wood laminate floors, which are very susceptible to moisture distortion at the seams, in our all season room. Previously we cleaned them with a damp mop followed by a microfiber pad to dry it. We couldn't get a damp mop to be effective yet dry enough to protect the laminate floor from distortion. The Crosswave does the job without needing to follow up with the microfiber pad. Yay! It saves me time and effort! Cleaning the Crosswave takes some time to do it well especially in our home. We have dogs. The Crosswave picks up the dog hair well but getting it out of the dirty water tank and the tube that carries it to the tank takes time. However, I believe the time is well spent to prolong the usefulness of my Crosswave. I am very happy with the Crosswave. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the issue with edges and corners. We have no carpeting on which to test the Crosswave.

Best product ever! I use it on a daily basis. I received mine as a gift for Christmas. Since then I have purchased 3 more as gifts for family and had a friend buy one after seeing how great it is and how easy it is to use. I couldn't stand to walk on floors with bare feet because I felt my feet were always getting dirty no matter how often I swept and mopped. Now I am barefoot all the time. It is such a time saver too! I used to spend hours sweeping and mopping now I can have my floors swept and mopped in under 15 minutes. I could go on and on about how much I love it. I am always amazed at how clean it gets my floors. I also love the self clean function of the cleaning tray. I very rarely have to untangle long hair from around the roller like I do with other vacuums.

This vacuum RUINED my floors. i literally feel like crying. i bought this vacuum because i just moved into a new home and thought it would be hrrat fir my area rugs and my hard wood floors. i was wrong !! they scratched up my floors, left white stains that i cant get rid off. i am so upset. brand new home floors RUINED after one use . i hate bissell . will never buy again. will be returning

I like being able to vac and mop at the same time. It takes some getting used to since you really need to go slower so it can work. I have wood like tile and the dirt collects in the ridges so I get a lot of dirt with every use, even if I use the regular vac beforehand. It is easy to clean when done using. Great product!

Crosswave worked well on my kitchen and bathroom floors. I had not used anything but a vacuum on an area rug I have. The crosswave certainly vacuumed out a lot of dirt from it. It was too much for the crosswave wet vacuum. It left a brown spot on the area rug. I will be using another large carpet cleaner to clean things up, then I think I will be able to maintain the area rug with my crosswave. The crosswave is easy to use and easy to clean up. I haven't used it on my hardwood floors yet.

I really like the Crosswave. Just like the Floormate, the Crosswave uses only clean water to wash the floors and then vacuums up the dirty water in a separate tank. The difference is this machine does not use as much water when washing, so the dry time is less time. The Crosswave is less noisy, and the head articulates to reach corners easier. I like the placement of the on/off button on the front of the handle. The cord is long enough so I do not have to constantly re-plug it in else where. Most of all, the Cosswave really does vacuum up all the pet hair and dust on the tile floors. I'm very happy with this machine.

As a lifelong animal lover, I was thrilled to be able to start volunteering in dog rescue after retirement. In addition to transporting thru Mobile Mutts, I also foster rescue dogs for Hoping Fur a Home. Additionally, I act as a weekend foster for dogs going from Mexico (Barb's Dog Rescue) to Canada (PetSave) for adoption. One weekend I had 28 dogs at my place! Needless to say, all of these dogs were making my hardwood floors a mess. Your CrossWave was an answer to a prayer! One use and I was hooked. My floors looked great and I didn't have to move the furniture twice; once to sweep then again to mop. I love that the design of your clean water tank is flat enough to set it on the counter. You can't do that with most models. I also love that the dirty water tank holds the same amount of water as the clean water tank. No more stopping to empty one, then stopping again to fill the other. The holding tray and self-cleaning option was also a great idea. All in all, this is one of the best-designed products I have ever used. If you could also come out with a bristle brush that would work on concrete floors, I bet you'd have thousands of kennels singing your praises!

Without my new CrossWave I would have to first sweep or vacuum my wood floors. Then spread the dirt around with my microfiber spray mop or over wet the flooring with a bucket and mop. Being left with a streaky still dirty floor. Now with the CrossWave I pick up and vacuum dirt and debris in one pass. With the suction collection of the dirty water solution, the flooring dries in minutes Cleanup and post-use care of the CrossWave takes only about 5 minutes. Up until purchase of the CrossWave I was really regretting the purchase of a home with dark wood flooring. Now with the CrossWave purchase, I have no worries. THANKS BISSELL

This machine vacuums and washes the floor at the same time....when I used to vacuum and then wash the floor, I would have clumps of dust everywhere and had to always wipe it up when the floor dried. With this machine, it still clumps up the dust but sucks it up in the machine with no cleanup after your done. It is definitely the best thing ever and so easy to use. Made my life a lot easier!
