[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product claims to work on area rugs and hard wood floors to "clean up messes and refresh surfaces" but, in actuality, this product is about as useful as a dollar store water gun. It sprays water on the floor or area rug and does not suck up water or even scrub for that matter. The design doesn't allow you to put enough pressure down in order to sufficiently scrub/catch any dirt. It's a very overpriced and dissapointing water gun. I love all of my other Bissell products ( spot cleaner, Vaccum, etc.) but certainly not this one.

I got this as a product to try out and then review--I love it! I haven't tried it on the car, but in the house it has been a real help. I have trouble with my shoulder and it is lightweight so I don't have trouble using it. It cleans the floors easily, without much effort, and doesn't take a lot of pressure, time or anything. I don't get really excited about cleaning, but when I have something that makes things easier, I love it.

Easy to fill and get ready for use. I was shocked how much cleaning area I was able to clean on one refill. My old cleaner would take about 3 times more to clean the same area. The vacuum is strong enough to pick up all of the cleaning solution so your dry time is at a minimal.....

Always a little sceptical when watching infomercials. Bought the product on a whim. Figured I could return it if I was not satisfied. We have mostly tile and hardwood floors. We started on "clean" tile and could not believe how much dirt the cross wave pulled out. Floor has never looked better. Same applies to hardwood. Love the product.

I am a bit upset and disappointed. I received this as a Christmas present so I have only had this about 6 weeks and this is the third time I tried to use it. The first time I used it - after almost finishing the area, I turned it off and the hardwood floor button it would not turn on again. The next morning it was fine. Second time, no problem- worked great. Third time, I used it for a small area (maybe for one minute) , went to move some furniture, tried to turn it on again and neither button will work. A product that is so new and barely used should work for more than a minute.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this floor cleaner about 4 months ago and it worked OK the first few times. Then all of a sudden, the motor that turns the brush spits and sputters. Then just quit...very disappointed Bissell. Since it was shot, I took it apart and found that the brush motor was eating away at the housing unit. There was even plastic shavings in the dang motor unit. Waste of money and now going to a landfill.

Thought our floors were clean. We were wrong. Couldn't believe how black the stuff was coming off the floors after using this. Wish we had bought it much sooner. Would definitely recommend it if you want clean floors and area rugs. My wife is a germafob and she was disgusted by how dirty our floors really were. Buy one now.

I have tile and laminate floors and I have never found a machine that makes them look and feel so clean. I loved the first day I tried it so much, I gave up a day at the beach to do the rest of the house! I have had steam machines and all they do is push the dog and cat fur into the basevoards. With the vacuum aspect of the Crosswave, all is spotless.

I use this on my kitchen and bathroom (linoleum) floors, and my dining room (hardwood floor)... I absolutely love this machine! I have a bad back, and it kills me to sweep the floors... by the time I'm done with that, I just don't even want to mop them! So it is so nice that this does it all at once, and believe me it works very good! I am so happy that I watched the infomercial that morning, and purchased it! I AM VERY SATISFIED, and I'm sure you will be to!!!!

Used for the first time yesterday on our new wood flooring. It cleaned beautiful, however I did use Bona wood floor cleaner full strength instead if what came with the unit. I bought this to use also on my kitchen, entry way tiles which never seem clean. Wetmoping gets so much up but leaves a residue behind. I will use the cleaner that I buy at the tile store. I think the cleaning solutions make the difference in the scheme of things. Always clean unit out each time. Highly recommend the Crosswave.
