Of all the floor cleaners that I have used and I have used many;the Crosswave is the best!!! I thought my floors were clean but after seeing how filthy the dirty water tank gets I realized they weren't. The water is brown with hair and sand in it. Once you learn how to set up the Crosswave the cleaning is easy. There are different rollers and solutions for different jobs. I use warm water in the tank to ensure a good clean. Yes it takes a little more effort to clean because of the double pass to wash and dry but you are eliminating vacuuming before the washing of the floors that has to be done with other cleaning systems. The cleaning of the dirty cup is more involved because it is wet dirt which makes it a little harder. I would not pour the dirty water down the sink without straining it. I use a paper towel to catch hair and other debris. Bissell also has a strainer which I am waiting for it to be in stock to eliminate the paper towel strainer. I use the parking tray and run fresh water through it to clean the roller and openings. I also clean the filter with dish detergent otherwise it gets a mildew smell. You must leave out the components to dry after cleanup. My only gripe with the machine is it is very noisy. When I clean my hallway it is so grinding that I had to put on earplugs. Since it cleans great I will put up with the noise. I'm sure they will improve this in time.

I think this is my favorite Bissell product and I have a lot of them. It is really hard for me to mop floors but vacuuming doesn't seem to bother my back so this is great and cleans faster then mopping or steaming and I don't have to have a lot of clean pads or use a lot of water to do my cleaning. I also like it for fast clean ups on my carpet when accidents happen, I vacuum before I mop and I still pick up a lot of dirt and dog hair when I use the CrossWave and when I'm done there isn't any grit left just a clean smooth floor. Because I pick up so much dirt and hair I empty mine in the toilet. When cleaning up spills I do wish it had a bigger waste tank...filled that little one up quick when I over watered a big plant...lol

I've had my Crosswave for a little over a month. Love this machine. It has made cleaning my tile floors a lot easier. It's lightweight, easy to operate,easy to clean and not only saves me time but also saves my back. Not having to vacuum then mop is awesome. Had a small issue when I received my Crosswave, customer service was excellent in resolving the issue.

I absolutely love this Cleaner. I asked for this as a Christmas gift; I am in my 80's with a good-sized kitchen and living area to clean. Each day I first had to drag out the vacuum, then drag out the mop. Now it's once over and in half the time it used to take. The cleaner is easy and quick to clean afterwards, and the tray for for sucking up the water and cleaning out the inside was a great idea. The only 'complaint' I might have is that it could get closer to the baseboards, and maybe you could find a manufacturer that knows how to add a cord-rewind. :)

Just used my new Bissell Crosswave and love it ! I have Tile, Hardwoods floors along with area rugs in my house. It was so easy to use and light weight! It really cuts down cleaning time and effort. I am disabled and found it be the tool I need to get my floors cleaned. Thank you Bissell!

Oh my the Crosswave cleans so much better than expected. Hubby was not impressed until he saw how clean the floors are and how fast they dried. Just as I had cleaned up the Crosswave a friend of his came by and he showed it to him. Little did we think he has tile floors and was wanting something like this. He now has the link to this handy tool and will get it before the weekend is over. We have two medium size dogs, and I did not want to fill the tank with dog hair on my first run with the Crosswave, so I ran the vacuum first. Then I followed the directions to fill it and operate it. I began cleaning the dining room and then the kitchen floors. I used 1 full tank of water and the floor was dry almost instantly. My floors are linoleum. I have large area rugs but did not do them as I just cleaned them with my new Bissell Proheat 2x Revolution. I had to empty the dirty water tank once and it was dirty and had hair in it even though I ran the vacuum. My floors are not totally level, and there are dips here and there. I did notice sometimes it did not want to really dry the little dips or the edges. I just went over those areas a second time changing the angle slightly and that did the trick every time. I have about 2,000 sf of linoleum. It requires 3 hours of being bent over vacuuming and mopping. I haul 2 gallon buckets of water and wring the mop a million times. I am 62. The crosswave eliminates all of that! It also saves me gallons of water. I realized I did those two rooms on 1 tank of clean water. I would have used 2 gallons of water to do the same area. What sold us was AFTER the cleaning was done. Hubby told me to do the white towel test. Put a little glass cleaner on a towel and rub the floor. No dirt at all! He did the towel test after I fell for the first microfiber floor mop. He told me it is pushing dirt around. Sure enough we did the white towel test and the floor was filthy. My floors are squeaky clean! No back breaking buckets of water, hours bent over mopping and wringing either. I love this thing, and it surpassed what I thought it could do.

The cleaner is light weight and easy to use. It is much better made than other all in ones that I have tried. It cleans the mostly whole house tile; however, it does not clean the pet stains from the grout. My floors are wood look and have 1/8 " sealed grout. The nubs don,t get into the small spaces. It still makes the job easier. I recommend that you develop and offer a better multi surface roller for the grout. I do appreciate the vacuum and clean at the same time feature and will recommend the cleaner.

I like gadget's and gimmicks especially ones that that really work. This is an awesome machine. I have dogs and it picks up most of their hair. Not sure how long this machine will last because of my dogs, but I have had it a few weeks and all of my floors are wood with area rugs and it is the best.

I have made the best floor cleaner purchase ever! This is one product that does exactly as it promises. I finally have my laminate floor back. Recently had bathroom redone, and the workmen got grit and grout all over my floor, that's another can of worms. I bought my CrossWave out of desperation,becaue nothing else worked to remove the dirt and. I am so happy with the results. So easy to use, I enjoyed cleaning the floor. I have a very big expanse of laminate floor. i used the Bissell cleaner recommended and it did a wonderful job. It was worth every penny. I am a very happy camper!

I have owned the Cross Wave for over a month. I have used this product to clean my entire 2 story 5 bedroom home. The first time I used this machine; I was astonished as to the amount of dirt and debris it can clean up , both by just vacuuming. and scrubbing.. I have tile, carpet, area rugs, and linoleum that looks like rough tile which has many earth tone colors with grooves in them. We live 15 miles up on mountain on the river. with lots of mud, clay, and pine needles which are constantly being tracked into the house by teens, a husband who mostly wears military boots, and a dog who runs all through the forest, and 4 indoor cats. The vacuum is very strong and sucks up every bit of it, even all of the fine animal hair. It cleans area rugs and small areas on the carpet all throughout the house. Best yet. the grooves in the linoleum are totally clean, and the floor is once again shiny, and the colors are brighter. I am 65, and disabled. with severe rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and a knee replacement . I can no longer get on my hands and knees to hand scrub the floor. I have tried a few steam mops, but they could never completely clean the floor. I have also owned other brand scrubbers. They were difficult to change and empty the water tanks and heavy to carry upstairs Not even two years after I purchased each one, the motor burned out on them. The Cross Wave is light enough to carry upstairs, swivels for ease of cleaning, and switching the rollers , filling the solution tank, emptying the dirty water collection tank, and cleaning all components was a breeze for me. The Cross Wave is rather expensive, but is worth every penny. I even used it to scrub the bricks around our wood stove. It also did a great job on them. The only thing I wish this machine could do better, is to clean and scrub all of the way to the edge of the floor. I highly recommend the Cross Wave to anyone who wants to have the cleanest floors possible with the least amount of effort.
