I have hardwood and ceramic tile floors. The crosswave works extremely well. I've only used it twice and both times it vacuumed and washed my floors leaving no streaks at all. I had a different Bissell floor washer but it pretty much wore out over the years. It left the floor almost totally dry but the suction was so great it was hard to move. The crosswave is a lot lighter and easier to use. I don't know how it dries the floor so well without sticking to the floor like the old one but it does and that is wonderful. I just love love love the crosswave!!

This thing is awesome. I didn't know how dirty my floors were. I had just mopped my floors before mine arrived. And I swear you couldn't tell. The stuff this thing picks up is invisible to the naked eye. Im so glad my floors are squeakie clean now. It's so easy to use that my man now helps with floors....BONUS.

Eases the chore of cleaning our Pergo floors, which really helps with our pups little footprints. Didn't give it 5 stars because we find we have to vacuum lightly first due to dog hairs clogging the machine. However, I still highly recommend this terrific timesaver when dealing mostly with tracked-in dirt.

Obviously anything that gets your floor clean without putting dirty water back on the floor is great but the water/formula distribution on the cleaning apparatus is horrible. I followed the directions on waiting so it saturated but after about 5 feet you can see that it only is getting the sides wet and not the middle. It also is horrible on wall reach, it don't clean a good two and a half inches up against the wall. A big one is I bought it online from Bissell and go to a chain store and see they have a different color, one I would rather of had instead of the green

Just stop debating the cost of the machine and if you think it's worth it because it is worth every single penny!! I have very very old hard wood floors in my home that would never look clean but now they have a little bit of extra life in them. I have severe lower back issues that make mopping and vacuuming next to impossible sometimes for me but this machine takes all that worry away for me. With two dogs that constantly shed I was concerned that it wouldn't get the hair and mop but it took care of both with ease. I do have a simple issue with the fact the machine doesn't get flush all the way against the baseboards or bend enough to go around the toilet to well. I'm still working out the best system for myself to clean those issues but it isn't enough to discourage me from wanting to use it daily. This is really a wonderful machine!

I love this machine. No vacuuming ahead of time & with the wet/dry vacuuming it picks up so much in rugs & floor. I have a lot of animal traffic so mopping & vacuuming at the same time is a wonderful thing. The suction is really strong & the different attachments are great. Easy to empty & refill. Shuts down when it is full of dirt. Really made well. Genius. Thank you Bissell!

25 years I cleaned floors on my hands and knees and I don't do that any more. This machine does a great job cleaning my kitchen, laundry room, family room and bathroom floors. The tray makes it easy to clean the roller. When I walk bare foot the floors feel smooth and clean Thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've got to admit I was shocked at how loud the machine is when you use it. It's louder than our regular vacuum cleaner is. It don't clean good up against baseboards at all. You have to use your regular mop for that. You have to wear ear plugs to use it it's so loud.

The CrossWave was purchased to clean my area rug, tile and wood laminate floors. My first use of the machine proved to me that this was a good purchase! My area rug (light blue/white/yellow in color) was very clean when I was done. I used the area rug roller brush. the only problem that I had was cleaning out the hair that gets wrapped around the brush. Since I used the area rug cleaner - and made the large portion - I continued to use/test out the cleaning elsewhere. The machine leaves no streak marks when cleaning my wood laminate floors, but, using the rug solution left the floor with some sort of sticky film. Note to self. . . my area rug only needs to be cleaned with the small portion solution! I am very pleased with this machine and will recommend it to all my friends. I also like the cleaning tray - helps to keep the rollers nice and clean.

The Crosswave is absolutely the best thing since sliced bread! (smiles) At last no more excuses for dirty floors. This lightweight magic machine does an excellent job. As far as cleaning close and narrow spots, I just spray a vinegar solution on those spots, wipe with a paper towel and throw the towel in the trash. No more bucket and smelly mops for me!
