I ordered this after thinking about it & reading multiple reviews. I really didn't think it would meet the expectations but I was wrong. This works great. We have 2 cats & 2 dogs & I really love being able to vac & mop at the same time--it saves sooo much time & effort! I would REALLY love it if it were possible to steam & vac at the same time but this is still excellent! I've only used it twice so far but if it continues as it has, I would definitely recommend it!

This is an amazing product. I have a fluffy Pomeranian and I also have a lot of hair. I vacuum every day! I have tile, wood and area rugs. Not only were my floors spotless but I can't believe the hair and dirt it picked up. There was no dust for me to go back and wipe up after I used the Bissell. I have been telling everyone what a great buy this was!

The a only thing this model is good for is filler for your trash can. I'm so disappointed! My home is not large but I can only do 1 room before the battery is gone and I have to put it back on the charger for a couple of hours. There is no handle anywhere on the unit. This makes it very difficult and awkward to pick it up if you want to move upstairs/downstairs or even over the lip of a doorway. The reservoir for the cleaning liquid leaks all over the place when you take it off or put it back on. You waste as much getting it on as you do for the actual mopping. A complete design failure from Bissel.

Works great on my wood floors. Carpet was disappointing. I have a carpet with short pile. However, most of the cleaning solution soaks into the carpet. Very little is actually drawn back into the container. It just does not have the suction power to accomplish what it is claimed to do on carpet.

I can't do hands and knees scrubbing like I used to, but I still want clean floors. I use this on tile and vinyl flooring. I was surprised at how dirty the return water was since my housekeeper just cleaned (using a wet swiffer). I used the sample cleaner that came with the Crosswave. There is no sticky residue left on the floor after it dries and the floor dries quickly. No streaking. I promptly bought more. The cleaner is lightweight, easy to fill, empty and maneuver. Easy to clean it afterwards too. It is so easy to use I get it out for quick cleanups after spills or pets. I have already recommended this to my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I HATE HATE this machine, it is the BIGGEST WASTE of money , I swear nobody that uses this actually has real dirt on their floors because I know this thing is a glorified push mop. There is no scrubbing power, it will not even remove muddy dog prints off hardwood floor, I literally can stand on it and it DOES NOT SCRUB which is the entire reason I bought it, to CLEAN my floors. I've been using this for a year only because I waited too long to return it and it's the only thing I have but my SHARK STEAM MOP worked better then this piece. I don't know how anyone can honestly rate this thing 5 stars, if it actually pay attention it does nothing. It is a halfway decent carpet cleaner on thin pile carpet but that's about it. I had to buy a second rug cleaner because it won't do high pile areas rugs. So.... I've had to buy a separate rug cleaner and will need to buy another hardwood cleaner then I can throw this junk out. I will never buy another Bissell product as long as I live. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and this IS A GIANT WASTE OF MONEY!!! REAL person with real life dirt in house.

I spilled some marinara sauce on the kitchen floor and was getting ready to go to the movies....so I thought let's see how good you really are...used my unit on it, it cleaned it all up! Of course I had to clean the machine today which was very easy and am now cleaning floor with fresh brush etc...amazing...love, love, love it....I have Lupus and back surgery so very difficult for me to bend or use mop etc. thank you omg much for the Crosswave, it is marvelous!

I would have given this four stars but there are a few things that needed to be adjusted. First it does an amazing job cleaning surface stains. But it does not hit very well against the base board. You will need to mop that area for complete cleaning. Additionally if there is sticky surface or stuck on stain you either have to go over a few times or you have to pull out the mop. I think over all it's a good purchase if you want to clean up an immediate mess, it cleaned my dog food area good and you want to just maintain cleanliness it work well. But eventually you will have to pull out the old fashion mop to get a deep clean...no regret of purchase.

I tested this for 5 weeks and used it at least twice a week. The mop functionality is not good. It doesn't do well on un even surfaces, it'll leave gray water pooled and sitting on the surface. It also leaves cat hair clumps on the floor and doesn't get up stuck on messes on tile. No complaints about the vacuum, but for the price i'll just buy a vacuum.
